1 Királyok 8

1 Akkor összegyűjté Salamon az Izráel véneit és a nemzetségeknek minden fejeit, az Izráel fiai atyjaiknak fejedelmeit Salamon királyhoz Jeruzsálembe, hogy az Úr szövetségének ládáját felvigyék a Dávid városából, mely a Sion.

Then he called together Solomon [the] elders of Israel all [the] chiefs of the tribes [the] leaders of the fathers of [the] people of Israel to the king Solomon Jerusalem to bring up [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh from [the] city of David that [is] Zion.

2 És felgyűlének Salamon királyhoz az Izráel minden férfiai az Ethánim havában, az ünnepen; ez a hetedik hónap.

And they assembled to the king Solomon every person of Israel in [the] month of Ethanim at the festival that [was] the month seventh.

3 Mikor pedig eljöttek mindnyájan az Izráel vénei: felvevék a papok a ládát,

And they came all [the] elders of Israel and they lifted the priests the ark.

4 És felvivék az Úr ládáját, a gyülekezetnek sátorát, és mind a szent edényeket, melyek valának a sátorban, és felvivék azokat a papok és a Léviták.

And they brought up [the] ark of Yahweh and [the] tent of meeting and all [the] utensils of holiness which [were] in the tent and they brought up them the priests and the Levites.

5 És Salamon király és az Izráel egész gyülekezete, a mely ő hozzá gyűlt, megyen vala ő vele a láda előtt, áldozván juhokkal és ökrökkel, melyek meg sem számláltathatnának, sem pedig meg nem irattathatnának a sokaság miatt.

And the king Solomon and all [the] congregation of Israel who were gathered to him with him before the ark [were] sacrificing sheep and cattle which not they were counted and not they were numbered from multitude.

6 És bevivék a papok az Úr szövetségének ládáját az ő helyére a ház belső részébe, a szentek-szentjébe, a Kérubok szárnyai alá.

And they brought the priests [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh to place its to [the] innermost room of the house to [the] holy place of the holy places to under [the] wings of the cherubim.

7 Mert a Kérubok kiterjesztik vala szárnyaikat a láda helye felett, és befedik vala a Kérubok a ládát és annak rúdjait felülről.

For the cherubim [were] spreading out wings to [the] place of the ark and they covered the cherubim over the ark and over poles its from to above.

8 És a rudak olyan hosszúak voltak, hogy azok vége látható volt a szenthelyen a szentek-szentjének első része felől; azonban kivül nem voltak láthatók; és ott vannak mind e mai napig.

And they were long the poles and they were visible [the] heads of the poles from the holy place on [the] face of the innermost room and not they were visible the outside towards and they have been there until the day this.

9 És nem volt egyéb a ládában, mint csak a két kőtábla, a melyeket Mózes a Hórebnél helyezett bele, mikor az Úr szövetséget kötött az Izráel fiaival, mikor kijövének Égyiptom földéből.

There not [was] in the ark only [the] two [the] tablets of stone which he placed there Moses at Horeb where he made Yahweh with [the] people of Israel when came out they from [the] land of Egypt.

10 Mikor pedig kijöttek a papok a szenthelyből: köd tölté be az Úrnak házát,

And it was when came out the priests from the holy place and the cloud it filled [the] house of Yahweh.

11 Úgy, hogy meg sem állhattak a papok az ő szolgálatjokban a köd miatt; mert az Úr dicsősége töltötte vala be az Úrnak házát.

And not they were able the priests to stand to serve because of the cloud for it filled [the] glory of Yahweh [the] house of Yahweh.

12 Akkor monda Salamon: Az Úr mondotta, hogy ő lakoznék ködben.

Then he said Solomon Yahweh he has said to dwell in thick darkness.

13 Építve építettem házat néked lakásul; helyet, a hol örökké lakjál.

Certainly I have built a house of loftiness for you a place to dwell in you forever.

14 Azután megfordult a király, és megáldá Izráel egész gyülekezetét és az Izráel egész gyülekezete felállott.

And he turned the king face his and he blessed all [the] assembly of Israel and all [the] assembly of Israel [was] standing.

15 És monda: Áldott legyen az Úr, Izráelnek Istene, a ki szólott az ő szája által Dávidnak, az én atyámnak; és azt az ő hatalmasságával beteljesítette, mondván:

And he said [be] blessed Yahweh [the] God of Israel who he spoke with mouth his with David father my and with hand his he has fulfilled saying.

16 Attól a naptól fogva, a melyen kihoztam az én népemet, az Izráelt Égyiptomból, soha nem választottam egyetlen várost sem az Izráel minden nemzetségei közül, hogy ott nékem házat építenének, a melyben lenne az én nevem; hanem csak Dávidot választottam, hogy ő legyen az én népem, Izráel felett.

Since the day when I brought out people my Israel from Egypt not I chose a city from all [the] tribes of Israel to build a house to be name my there and I have chosen David to be over people my Israel.

17 És ámbár az én atyám, Dávid már elvégezte volt, hogy ő épít házat az Úrnak, Izráel Istene nevének;

And it was with [the] heart of David father my to build a house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

18 De az Úr azt mondá Dávidnak, az én atyámnak: Azt, hogy arra gondoltál, hogy az én nevemnek házat építs, jól cselekedted, hogy szívedben ezt végezted;

And he said Yahweh to David father my because that it was with heart your to build a house for name my you did well that it was with heart your.

19 Mégis nem te építesz házat nékem, hanem a te fiad, a ki a te ágyékodból származik, az épít házat az én nevemnek.

Only you not you will build the house that except son your who comes out from loins your he he will build the house for name my.

20 És beteljesíté az Úr az ő beszédét, a melyet szólott; mert felkelék az én atyám, Dávid helyett, és ülék az Izráel királyi székibe, a miképen megmondotta vala az Úr, és megépítém a házat az Úr, Izráel Istene nevének.

And he has established Yahweh word his which he spoke and I have arisen in place of David father my and I have sat on [the] throne of Israel just as he spoke Yahweh and I have built the house for [the] name of Yahweh [the] God of Israel.

21 És helyet szerzettem ott a ládának, a melyben az Úrnak szövetsége vagyon, a melyet szerzett a mi atyáinkkal, mikor kihozta őket Égyiptom földéből.

And I have set up there a place for the ark where [is] there [the] covenant of Yahweh which he made with ancestors our when brought out he them from [the] land of Egypt.

22 És oda állott Salamon az Úr oltára elé, az Izráel egész gyülekezetével szembe, és felemelé kezeit az ég felé,

And he stood Solomon before [the] altar of Yahweh before all [the] assembly of Israel and he spread out palms his the heavens.

23 És monda: Uram, Izráel Istene! nincsen hozzád hasonló Isten, sem az égben ott fenn, sem a földön itt alant, a ki megtartod a szövetséget és az irgalmasságot a te szolgáidnak, a kik te előtted teljes szívvel járnak;

And he said O Yahweh [the] God of Israel there not like you [is] a God in the heavens above and on the earth beneath [who] keeps the covenant and covenant loyalty to servants your who walk before you with all heart their.

24 A ki megtartottad azt, a mit a te szolgádnak, Dávidnak, az én atyámnak szólottál; mert magad szólottál néki, és a te hatalmaddal beteljesítetted, a mint e mai napon megtetszik.

Who you have kept to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him and you spoke with mouth your and with hand your you have fulfilled as the day this.

25 Most azért Uram, Izráel Istene, tartsd meg, a mit a te szolgádnak, Dávidnak, az én atyámnak igértél, ezt mondván: A te magodból való férfiú el nem fogy én előttem, a ki az Izráel királyi székibe üljön; csakhogy a te fiaid őrizzék meg az ő útjokat, hogy én előttem járjanak, a mint te én előttem jártál.

And therefore O Yahweh - [the] God of Israel keep to servant your David father my [that] which you spoke to him saying not it will be cut off to you a man from to before me [who] sits on [the] throne of Israel only if they will guard descendants your way their to walk before me just as you have walked before me.

26 Most teljesítsd be, Izráel Istene, a te szavaidat, a melyeket szólottál a te szolgádnak, Dávidnak, az én atyámnak.

And therefore O God of Israel let it be established please (word your *Q(K)*) which you spoke to servant your David father my.

27 Vajjon gondolható-é, hogy lakozhatnék az Isten a földön? Ímé az ég, és az egeknek egei be nem foghatnak téged; mennyivel kevésbbé e ház, a melyet én építettem.

For ¿ really will he dwell God on the earth here! the heavens and [the] heavens of the heavens not they contain you indeed? for the house this which I have built.

28 De tekints a te szolgád imádságára és könyörgésére, óh Uram, én Istenem, hogy meghalljad a dicséretet és az imádságot, a melylyel a te szolgád könyörög előtted e mai napon;

And you will turn to [the] prayer of servant your and to supplication his O Yahweh God my to listen to the cry of entreaty and to the prayer which servant your [is] praying before you this day.

29 Hogy a te szemeid e házra nézzenek éjjel és nappal, e helyre, a mely felől azt mondottad: Ott lészen az én nevem; hallgasd meg ez imádságot, a melylyel könyörög a te szolgád e helyen.

To be eyes your open to the house this night and day to the place where you have said it will be name my there to listen to the prayer which he will pray servant your to the place this.

30 És hallgasd meg a te szolgádnak és a te népednek, az Izráelnek könyörgését, a kik imádkozándanak e helyen; hallgasd meg lakhelyedből, a mennyekből, és meghallgatván légy kegyelmes!

And you will listen to [the] supplication of servant your and people your Israel which they will pray to the place this and you you will listen to [the] place dwelling you to the heavens and you will hear and you will forgive.

31 Mikor vétkezéndik valaki felebarátja ellen, és esküre köteleztetik, hogy megesküdjék és ő ide jő, megesküszik az oltár előtt ebben a házban:

[that] which He will sin anyone to neighbor his and he will impose on him an oath to put under an oath him and he will come he will swear an oath before altar your in the house this.

32 Te hallgasd meg a mennyekből, és vidd véghez, és tégy igazat a te szolgáid között, kárhoztatván az istentelent, hogy fején teljék a mit keresett; és megigazítván az igazat, megfizetvén néki az ő igazsága szerint.

And you - you will hear the heavens and you will act and you will judge servants your to condemn as guilty a guilty [person] to requite conduct his on own head his and to declare righteous a righteous [person] to give to him according to righteousness his.

33 Mikor megverettetik a te néped, az Izráel, az ő ellenségeitől, mivel ellened vétkeztek, és hozzád megtéréndenek, és vallást teéndenek a te nevedről, és néked imádkozándanak és könyörgéndenek e házban:

When are defeated people your Israel before an enemy that they will sin to you and they will turn back to you and they will praise name your and they will pray and they will seek favor to you in the house this.

34 Te hallgasd meg a mennyekből, és bocsásd meg az Izráelnek, a te népednek vétkét; és hozd vissza őket arra a földre, a melyet adtál az ő atyáiknak.

And you you will hear the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of people your Israel and you will bring back them to the land which you gave to ancestors their.

35 Mikor berekesztetik az ég, és nem lészen eső, mert ellened vétkeztek; és imádkozándanak e helyen, és vallást teéndenek a te nevedről, és megtéréndenek az ő bűnökből, mert te szorongatod őket:

When are shut up [the] heavens and not it will be rain for they will sin to you and they will pray to the place this and they will praise name your and from sin their they will turn back! for you will afflict them.

36 Te hallgasd meg őket a mennyekből, és légy kegyelmes a te szolgáidnak és az Izráelnek, a te népednek vétke iránt, tanítsd meg őket a jó útra, a melyen járjanak; és adj esőt a te földedre, a melyet örökségül adtál a te népednek.

And you - you will hear the heavens and you will forgive [the] sin of servants your and people your Israel that you will teach them the way good which they will walk in it and you will give rain on land your which you gave to people your to an inheritance.

37 Éhség ha lesz e földön, ha döghalál, aszály, ragya, sáska, cserebogár; ha ellenség szállja meg kapuit; vagy más csapás és nyavalya jövénd reájok:

Famine if it will be in the land pestilence for it will be blight mildew locust[s] locust[s] for it will be that he will lay siege to it enemy its in [the] land of gates its every plague any sickness.

38 A ki akkor könyörög és imádkozik, legyen az bárki; vagy a te egész néped, az Izráel, ha elismeri kiki az ő szívére mért csapást, és kiterjeszténdi kezeit e ház felé:

Every prayer every supplication which it will belong to any person to all people your Israel who they will know! each [the] plague of own heart his and he will spread out palms his to the house this.

39 Te hallgasd meg a mennyekből, a te lakhelyedből és légy kegyelmes, és cselekedd azt, hogy kinek-kinek fizess az ő útai szerint, a mint megismerted az ő szívét, mert egyedül csak te ismered minden embernek szívét.

And you you will hear the heavens [the] place of dwelling your and you will forgive and you will act and you will give to the person according to all ways his whom you will know heart his for you you know to alone you [the] heart of all [the] children of humankind.

40 Hogy féljenek téged mind éltig, míg e földnek színén lakoznak, a melyet adtál a mi atyáinknak.

So that they may fear you all the days which they [will be] alive on [the] surface of the ground which you gave to ancestors our.

41 Sőt még az idegen is, a ki nem a te néped, az Izráel közül való, ha eljövénd messze földről a te nevedért;

And also to the foreigner who not [is] one of people your Israel he and he will come from a land distant for [the] sake of name your.

42 (Mert meghallják a te nagyságos nevedet és a te hatalmas kezedet és kinyújtott karodat), és eljövén imádkozánd e házban:

For they will hear! name your great and hand your mighty and arm your outstretched and he will come and he will pray to the house this.

43 Te hallgasd meg a mennyekből, a te lakhelyedből, és add meg az idegennek mindazt, a miért könyörög néked, hogy mind az egész földön való népek megismerjék a te nevedet, és féljenek úgy téged, miképen a te néped az Izráel; és ismerjék meg, hogy a te nevedről neveztetik ez a ház, a melyet én építettem.

You you will hear the heavens [the] place dwelling you and you will do according to all that he will call to you the foreigner so that they may know! all [the] peoples of the earth name your to fear you like people your Israel and to know that name your it has been called on the house this which I have built.

44 Ha a te néped hadba megy ki az ő ellensége ellen, az úton, a melyen te küldöd el, és imádkozándik az Úrhoz, fordulván az úton e város felé, a melyet te magadnak választottál és e ház felé, a melyet építettem a te nevednek:

If it will go forth people your for battle on enemy its by the way which you will send them and they will pray to Yahweh [the] direction of the city which you have chosen it and the house which I have built for name your.

45 Hallgasd meg a mennyekből az ő imádságokat és könyörgésöket, és szerezz nékik igazságot.

And you will hear the heavens prayer their and supplication their and you will do justice their.

46 Ha te ellened vétkezéndenek, – mert nincsen ember, a ki ne vétkeznék – és megharagudván reájok, ellenség kezébe adándod, és fogva elviéndik őket azok, a kiktől megfogattak, az ellenségnek földére, messze vagy közel;

If they will sin to you for there not [is] anyone who not he sins and you will be angry with them and will you deliver up them before an enemy and they will take captive them captors their to [the] land of the enemy distant or near.

47 És eszökre térnek a földön, melyre fogva vitettek, és megtérvén könyörgenek néked azoknak földökön, a kiktől fogva elvitettek, mondván: Vétkeztünk, hamisan és istentelenül cselekedtünk!

And they will bring back to heart their in the land where they have been taken captive there and they will repent - and they will seek favor to you in [the] land of captors their saying we have sinned and we have done wrong we have acted wickedly.

48 És megtéréndenek te hozzád teljes szívökből és lelkökből, az ő ellenségöknek földében, a kik őket fogva elvitték, és imádkozándanak hozzád az ő földöknek útja felé fordulva, a melyet adtál az ő atyáiknak, és e város felé, a melyet magadnak választottál, és e ház felé, a melyet a te nevednek építettem:

And they will return to you with all heart their and with all being their in [the] land of enemies their who they have taken captive them and they will pray to you [the] direction of land their which you gave to ancestors their the city which you have chosen and the house which (I have built *Q(K)*) for name your.

49 Hallgasd meg a mennyekből, a te lakhelyedből az ő imádságokat és könyörgésöket, és szerezz nékik igazságot;

And you will hear the heavens [the] place dwelling you prayer their and supplication their and you will do justice their.

50 És légy kegyelmes a te néped iránt, a kik ellened vétkezéndenek, és minden bűneik iránt, a melyekkel ellened vétkeztek; és szerezz kedvességet nékik azok előtt, a kik őket fogva tartják, hogy könyörüljenek rajtok;

And you will forgive people your who they have sinned to you and all transgressions their which they transgressed against you and you will make them into [objects of] compassion before captors their and they will have compassion on them.

51 Mert ők a te néped és örökséged, a kiket kihoztál Égyiptomból, a vaskemencze közepéből,

For [are] people your and inheritance your they whom you brought out from Egypt from [the] midst of [the] furnace of iron.

52 Hogy a te szemeid nézzenek a te szolgádnak imádságára és a te népednek az Izráelnek könyörgésére; meghallgatván őket mindenkor, mikor téged segítségül hívnak.

To be eyes your open to [the] supplication of servant your and to [the] supplication of people your Israel to listen to them in all calling they to you.

53 Mert te különválasztottad őket magadnak örökségül a földnek minden népei közül; a miképen megmondottad volt Mózes, a te szolgád által, mikor kihoztad a mi atyáinkat Égyiptomból, Uram Isten!

For you you have separated them for yourself to an inheritance from all [the] peoples of the earth just as you spoke by [the] hand of - Moses servant your when bringing out you ancestors our from Egypt O Lord Yahweh.

54 És mikor elvégezte Salamon az Úr előtt való minden imádságát és könyörgését, felkele az Úr oltára elől, és megszünék az ő térdein való állástól, és kezeinek az égbe felemelésétől.

And it was - when had finished Solomon to pray to Yahweh all the prayer and the supplication this he stood up from to before [the] altar of Yahweh from bowing down on knees his and palms his [were] spread out the heavens.

55 És felállván megáldá az Izráel egész gyülekezetét, felszóval ezt mondván:

And he stood and he blessed all [the] assembly of Israel a voice great saying.

56 Áldott legyen az Úr, a ki nyugodalmat adott az ő népének, az Izráelnek, minden ő beszéde szerint, csak egy beszéde is hiábavaló nem volt minden ő jó beszédei közül, a melyeket szólott Mózes, az ő szolgája által.

[be] blessed Yahweh who he has given a resting place to people his Israel according to all that he has spoken not it has fallen a word one from every word his good which he spoke by [the] hand of Moses servant his.

57 Az Úr, a mi Istenünk, legyen velünk, a miképen volt a mi atyáinkkal, ne hagyjon el minket, el se távozzék tőlünk,

May he be Yahweh God our with us just as he was with ancestors our may not he forsake us and may not he abandon us.

58 Hanem hajtsa magához a mi szívünket, hogy járjunk minden ő útaiban, és őrizzük meg az ő parancsolatit, rendeléseit és végzésit, a melyeket a mi atyáinknak parancsolt.

To incline heart our to him to walk in all ways his and to keep commandments his and statutes his and judgments his which he commanded ancestors our.

59 És ezek a szavak, a melyekkel imádkoztam az Úr előtt, legyenek jelen az Úr előtt a mi Istenünk előtt éjjel és nappal, hogy ítéletet tegyen az ő szolgájának és az ő népének, az Izráelnek, minden időben,

And may they be words my these which I have sought favor before Yahweh near to Yahweh God our by day and night to do - [the] justice of servant his and [the] justice of people his Israel a matter of a day in day its.

60 Hogy megismerjék a földön minden népek, hogy csak az Úr az Isten, és hogy ő kívülötte nincsen más.

So as to know all [the] peoples of the earth that Yahweh he [is] God there not [is] still more.

61 És a ti szívetek legyen tökéletes az Úrhoz, a mi Istenünkhöz, hogy járjatok az ő rendeléseiben, és őrizzétek meg az ő parancsolatit, miképen e mai napon.

And it will be heart your complete with Yahweh God our to walk in statutes his and to keep commandments his as the day this.

62 És a király és az egész Izráel ő vele, áldozatokat áldozának az Úr előtt.

And the king and all Israel with him [were] sacrificing a sacrifice before Yahweh.

63 És Salamon áldozék hálaadó áldozatul, a melyet áldozék az Úrnak: huszonkétezer ökröt, százhúszezer juhot. És e képen szentelék fel az Úr házát a király és az Izráel minden fiai.

And he sacrificed Solomon [the] sacrifice of the peace offerings which he sacrificed to Yahweh cattle twenty and two thousand and sheep one hundred and twenty thousand and they dedicated [the] house of Yahweh the king and all [the] people of Israel.

64 Ugyanazon napon szentelé fel a király a középső pitvart, mely az Úrnak háza előtt vala; mert ott szerze egészen égőáldozatokat, ételáldozatokat és hálaáldozatok kövéreit. Mert a rézoltár, mely az Úr előtt állott, kisebb volt, mintsem reá fért volna az égőáldozat, az ételáldozat és a hálaáldozatok kövére.

On the day that he consecrated the king [the] middle of the court which [was] before [the] house of Yahweh for he offered there the burnt offering and the grain offering and [the] fat of the peace offerings for [the] altar of bronze which [was] before Yahweh [was too] small for containing the burnt offering and the grain offering and [the] fat of the peace offerings.

65 És Salamon ünnepet szerze ebben az időben, és vele együtt az egész Izráel; egy nagy gyűlést Hámát határától fogva Égyiptom határáig, az Úr előtt, a mi Istenünk előtt, hét napig és újra hét napig, azaz tizennégy napig.

And he observed Solomon at the time that - the festival and all Israel with him an assembly great from Lebo Hamath - to [the] wadi of Egypt before Yahweh God our seven days and seven days four-teen day[s].
