1 Krónika 7
1 Izsakhár fiai: Thóla, Pua, Jásub és Simron, négyen.
Issachar’s four sons were Tola, Puah, Jashub, and Shimron.
2 Thóla fiai pedig: Uzzi, Réfája, Jériel, Jakhmai, Jibsám és Sámuel, kik fejedelmek valának az ő atyjaiknak családjaiban. A Thóla fiai erős hadakozók voltak nemzetségökben, kiknek száma Dávid király idejében huszonkétezerhatszáz vala.
Tola’s sons were Uzzi, Rephaiah, Jeriel, Jahmai, Ibsam, and Samuel (OR, Shemuel). They were all leaders of the clans [descended from] them. In the record of Tola’s descendants were the names of 22,600 men who served in the army during the time that David was the king [of Israel].
3 Uzzi fiai: Izráhja; és az Izráhja fiai: Mikáel, Obádia, Joel, Issia, öten, a kik mind főemberek valának.
Uzzi’s son was Izrahiah. Izrahiah’s five sons were Michael, Obadiah, Joel, and Isshiah. Izrahiah and his sons were all leaders of their clans.
4 És közöttük nemzetségeik és családjaik szerint harminczhatezer hadakozó férfi volt, mert sok feleségök volt és sok fiuk is.
In the record of Izrahiah’s descendants were the names of 36,000 men who served in the army because they had many wives and children.
5 Ezeknek testvéreik is, Izsakhárnak egész nemzetsége szerint erős hadakozó férfiak valának, nyolczvanhétezeren szám szerint mindenestől.
In the records of the clans descended from Issachar were the names of 87,000 men who served in the army.
6 Benjámin fiai: Bela, Béker és Jediáel, hárman.
[Some of the] sons of Benjamin were Bela, Beker, and Jediael.
7 Bela fiai: Esbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jérimót és Hiri, öt főember az ő nemzetségökben, erős hadakozó férfiak, a kik megszámláltatván, huszonkétezerharmincznégyen valának.
Bela’s five sons were Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel, Jerimoth, and Iri. They were all leaders of clans. In the records of the clans descended from Bela there were names of 22,034 men who served in the army.
8 Béker fiai: Zémira, Joás, Eliézer, Eljoénai, Omri, Jeremót, Abija, Anatót és Alémet; ezek mindnyájan Béker fiai.
Beker’s sons were Zemirah, Joash, Eliezer, Elioenai, Omri, Jeremoth, Abijah, Anathoth, and Alemeth.
9 Azok megszámláltatván nemzetségeik szerint, családjuk fejei és az erős hadakozó férfiak húszezerkétszázan valának.
In the records of the clans descended from Beker were the names of 20,200 men and leaders of the clans who served in the army.
10 Továbbá Jédiáel fia: Bilhán; Bilhán fiai: Jéus, Benjámin, Éhud, Kénaána, Zetán, Társis és Ahisahár.
Jediael’s son was Bilhan. Bilhan’s sons were Jeush, Benjamin, Ehud, Kenaanah, Zethan, Tarshish, and Ahishahar.
11 Ezek mind Jédiáel fiai, családfők, erős hadakozó férfiak, a kik tizenhétezerkétszázan mehetnek vala ki a viadalra.
They were all leaders of clans descended from them. There were 17,200 of them who served in the army.
12 Ir fiai: Suppim és Khuppim; Húsim Ahernek fia.
Shuppim and Huppim were descendants of Ir. [One of] the descendants of Aher was Hushim.
13 Nafthali fiai: Jakhcziel, Gúni, Jéczer, Sallum, a Bilha fiai.
Naphtali’s sons were Jahziel, Guni, Jezer, and Shillem. They were all descendants of [Jacob’s slave wife] Bilhah.
14 Manasse fiai: Aszriel, kit szüle az ő felesége. Az ő ágyastársa pedig, a Siriabeli asszony szülé Mákirt, a Gileád atyját.
[This is a list of] Manasseh’s descendants. Manasseh had a slave wife who was from Syria. She was the mother of Asriel and Makir. Makir was the father of Gilead.
15 Mákir pedig vevé feleségül Khuppimnak és Suppimnak hugát, kinek neve Maáka. A másiknak neve Czélofhád. Czélofhádnak leányai voltak.
Makir [had two wives]. They were from the clans of Huppim and Shuppim. One of Makir’s wives was named Maacah. Another descendant [of Makir] was Zelophehad. Zelophehad [had no sons; he] had only daughters.
16 Maáka, a Mákir felesége szüle fiat, a kit neveze Péresnek; annak pedig öcscsét Séresnek. Ennek fiai: Ulám és Rékem.
Makir’s wife Maacah gave birth to two sons whom she named Peresh and Sheresh. Sheresh’s sons were Ulam and Rakem.
17 Ulám fia: Bédán. Ezek a Gileád fiai, ki Mákir fia volt, ki Manasse fia volt.
Ulam’s son was Bedan. All those [men were considered to be] descendants of Gilead, who was the son of Makir and grandson of Manasseh.
18 Az ő huga, Moléket pedig szülé Ishodot, Abiézert és Makhlát.
Makir’s sister name was Hammoleketh who was the mother of Ishdod, Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 Semidának fiai voltak: Ahián, Sekem, Likhi és Aniám.
[One son of Gilead was] Shemida, whose sons were Ahian, Shechem, Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Efraim fiai pedig: Sútelákh, kinek fia Béred, ennek fia Táhát, ennek fia Elhada, ennek fia Táhát.
[This is a list of] the descendants of Ephraim. One son of Ephraim’s was Shuthelah. Shuthelah’s son was Bered. Bered’s son was Tahath. Tahath’s son was Eleadah. Eleadah’s son was [also named] Tahath.
21 Ennek fia Zábád, ennek fia Sútelákh, Ezer és Elhád. És megölék ezeket a Gáthbeliek, a földnek lakosai; mert alámentek vala, hogy barmaikat elhajtsák.
Tahath’s son was Zabad. Zabad’s son was Shuthelah. [Ephraim’s other sons, ] Ezer and Elead, went to Gath [city] to steal some cows and sheep. But they were both killed by some of the men from that city.
22 Efraim azért, az ő atyjok sokáig siratá őket, a kihez elmennek vala az ő atyjafiai, és őt vigasztalják vala.
Their father Ephraim cried/mourned for them for many days, and his family came to comfort him.
23 Beméne azért az ő feleségéhez, ki fogada méhében, és szüle fiat, és nevezé Bériának, mivelhogy szerencsétlenség történt az ő házában.
Then he and his wife had sex [EUP] [again], and she became pregnant and gave birth to a son. Ephraim named him Beriah [which resembles the word ‘trouble’, ] because of the trouble that his family had experienced.
24 Leánya pedig Seéra vala, a ki alsó és felső Bethoront és Uzen-Seérát építé.
Ephraim’s daughter was Sheerah. Her workers built [three towns]: Lower Beth-Horon, Upper Beth-Horon, and Uzzen-Sheerah.
25 Réfah is az ő fia és Resef; ennek fia Théla, ennek fia Táhán.
[Another] son of Ephraim was Rephah. Rephah’s son was Resheph. Resheph’s son was Telah. Telah’s son was Tahan.
26 Ennek fia Laadán, ennek fia Ammihud, ennek fia Elisáma.
Tahan’s son was Ladan. Ladan’s son was Ammihud. Ammihud’s son was Elishama.
27 Ennek fia Nún, ennek fia Józsué.
Elishama’s son was Nun. Nun’s son was Joshua, [the man who led the Israelis after Moses died].
28 Ezeknek birtokuk és lakóhelyük vala: Béthel és annak mezővárosai; napkeletre Naarán, napenyészetre Gézer és ennek mezővárosai, Sikem és ennek mezővárosai, szinte Gázáig és az ehhez tartozó mezővárosokig;
[This is a list of] the cities and areas where the descendants of Ephraim lived: Bethel and the nearby villages; Naaran to the east; Gezer to the west and the nearby villages; and Shechem and the nearby villages. Those villages extended [north] as far as Ayyah and the nearby villages.
29 És a Manasse fiai mellett: Béth-Seán és ennek mezővárosai, Thaanák és ennek mezővárosai, Megiddó és ennek mezővárosai, Dór és ennek mezővárosai. Ezekben laktak az Izráel fiának, Józsefnek fiai.
Along the border of the area where the descendants of Manasseh lived were these towns: Beth-Shan, Taanach, Megiddo, and Dor, and the nearby villages. The people who lived in all those places were descendants of Jacob’s son Joseph.
30 Áser fiai: Jimnah, Jisvah, Jisvi, Beriha és Szerakh, az ő hugok.
Asher’s sons were Imnah, Ishvah, Ishvi, and Beriah. Their sister was Serah.
31 Beriha fiai: Khéber és Malkhiel, a ki Birzávit atyja volt.
Beriah’s sons were Heber and Malkiel. Malkiel was the father of Birzaith
32 Khéber pedig nemzé Jaflétet, Sómert, Hótámot és Suát, az ő hugokat.
Heber was the father of Japhlet, Shomer, and Hotham. Their sister was Shua.

Japhlet’s sons were Pasach, Bimhal, and Ashvath.

Japhlet’s [younger] brother was Shomer. Shomer’s sons were Rohgah, Hubbah, and Aram.

Shomer’s [younger] brother was Hotham (OR, Helem). Hotham’s sons were Zophah, Imna, Shelesh, and Amal.

Zophah’s sons were Suah, Harnepher, Shual, Beri, Imrah,
37 Béser, Hód, Samma, Silsa, Itrán és Beéra.
Bezer, Hod, Shamma, Shilshah, Ithran [whose other name was Jether], and Beera.
38 Jéter fiai: Jéfunné, Pispa és Ara.
Jether’s sons were Jephunneh, Pispah, and Ara.
39 Ulla fiai: Ara, Hanniel és Risja.
[Another descendant of Asher was] Ulla, whose sons were Arah, Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Ezek mind Áser fiai, családfők, válogatott harczosok, a fejedelmek fejei; és megszámláltatván az ő nemzetségök rendje szerint, huszonhatezer harczra képes férfi volt.
All those men were descendants of Asher, and they were all leaders of their clans. They were brave warriors and excellent leaders. In the record of the clans that are descended from Asher are [the names of] 26,000 men who served in the army.
