1 Lévi fiai: Gerson, Kéhát és Mérári.
The sons of Levi: Gedson, Caath, and Merari.
2 Kéhát fiai pedig: Amrám, Ishár, Hebron és Uzziel.
And the sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
3 Amrám gyermekei: Áron, Mózes és Miriám; Áron fiai pedig: Nádáb, Abihu, Eleázár és Ithamár.
And the sons of Ambram; Aaron, and Moses, and Mariam: and the sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abiud, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
4 Eleázár nemzé Fineást, Fineás nemzé Abisuát;
Eleazar begot Phinees, Phinees begot Abisu;
5 Abisua pedig nemzé Bukkit, Bukki nemzé Uzzit;
Abisu begot Bokki, and Bokki begot Ozi;
6 Uzzi nemzé Zeráhiát, Zeráhia nemzé Mérajótot;
Ozi begot Zaraia, Zaraia begot Mariel;
7 Mérajót nemzé Amáriát, Amária nemzé Ahitúbot;
and Mariel begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;
8 Ahitúb nemzé Sádókot; Sádók nemzé Ahimáhást;
and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Achimaas;
9 Ahimáhás nemzé Azáriát, Azária nemzé Jóhanánt;
and Achimaas begot Azarias, and Azarias begot Joanan;
10 Jóhanán nemzé Azáriát, ez volt a pap abban a házban, a melyet Salamon Jeruzsálemben épített vala.
and Joanan begot Azarias: he ministered as priest in the house which Solomon built in Jerusalem.
11 Azária nemzé Amáriát; Amária nemzé Ahitúbot;
And Azarias begot Amaria, and Amaria begot Achitob;
12 Ahitúb nemzé Sádókot, Sádók nemzé Sallumot;
and Achitob begot Sadoc, and Sadoc begot Salom;
13 Sallum nemzé Hilkiát; Hilkia nemzé Azáriát;
and Salom begot Chelcias, and Chelcias begot Azarias;
14 Azária nemzé Séráját, Sérája nemzé Jéhozadákot;
and Azarias begot Saraia, and Saraias begot Josadac.
15 Jéhozadák pedig fogságba méne, mikor az Úr Júdát és Jeruzsálemet fogságba viteté Nabukodonozor által.
And Josadac went into captivity with Juda and Jerusalem under Nabuchodonosor.

17 Ezek a Gerson fiainak nevei: Libni és Simhi.
And these [are] the names of the sons of Gedson; Lobeni, and Semei.
18 Kéhát fiai: Amrám, Jiczhár, Khebron és Huzziel.
The sons of Caath; Ambram, and Issaar, Chebron, and Oziel.
19 Mérári fiai: Makhli és Musi. Ezek a Lévi háznépei az ő nemzetségeik szerint.
The sons of Merari; Mooli and Musi: and these [are] the families of Levi, according to their families.
20 Gersonnak fiai: Ligni az ő fia, Jáhát ennek fia, Zima ennek fia.
To Gedson—to Lobeni his son—[were born] Jeth his son, Zammath his son,
21 Jóah ennek fia, Iddó ennek fia, Zérah ennek fia és Jéathérai ennek fia.
Joab his son, Addi his son, Zara his son, Jethri his son.
22 Kéhát fiai: Amminádáb az ő fia, Kórákh ennek fia és Asszir ennek fia;
The sons of Caath; Aminadab his son, Core his son, Aser his son;
23 Elkána ennek fia, Ebiásáf ennek fia és Asszir ennek fia.
Helcana his son, Abisaph his son, Aser his son:
24 Tákhát ennek fia, Uriel ennek fia, Uzzia ennek fia és Saul ennek fia.
Thaath his son, Uriel his son, Ozia his son, Saul his son.
25 Elkána fiai: Amásai és Ahimót,
And the sons of Helcana; Amessi, and Achimoth.
26 Elkána. Elkána fia: Sófai az ő fia és Náhát ennek fia.
Helcana his son, Suphi his son, Cainaath his son;
27 Eliáb ennek fia, Jérohám ennek fia, Elkána ennek fia.
Eliab his son, Jeroboam his son, Helcana his son.

The sons of Samuel; the firstborn Sani, and Abia.
29 Mérári fiai: Mahli, Libni ennek fia; Simhi ennek fia és Uzza ennek fia.
The sons of Merari; Mooli, Lobeni his son, Semei his son, Oza his son;
30 Simea ennek fia, Haggija ennek fia és Asája ennek fia.
Samaa his son, Angia his son, Asaias his son.
31 Ezek azok, a kiket Dávid állított be az Úr házában az énekléshez, mikor az Isten ládája elhelyeztetett.
And these [were the men] whom David set over the service of the singers in the house of the Lord when the ark was at rest.
32 És a míg Salamon felépíté az Úr házát Jeruzsálemben, addig a gyülekezet sátora előtt szolgáltak énekléssel és állottak szolgálatban, kiki az ő rendje szerint.
And they ministered in front of the tabernacle of witness [playing] on instruments, until Solomon built the house of the Lord in Jerusalem; and they stood according to their order for their services.
33 Ezek pedig a kik szolgáltak, és az ő fiaik: a Kéhátiták fiai közül Hémán főéneklő, Jóel fia, ki Sámuel fia.
And these [were the men] that stood, and their sons, of the sons of Caath: Aeman the psalm singer, son of Joel, the son of Samuel,
34 Ki Elkána fia, ki Jérohám fia, ki Eliél fia, ki Thóa fia.
the son of Helcana, the son of Jeroboam, the son of Eliel, the son of Thoas,
35 Ki Czúf fia, ki Elkána fia, ki Mahát fia, ki Amásai fia.
the son of Suph, the son of Helcana, the son of Maath, the son of Amathi,
36 Ki Elkána fia, ki Jóél fia, ki Azárja fia, ki Séfánia fia.
the son of Helcana, the son of Joel, the son of Azarias, the son of Japhanias,
37 Ki Tákhát fia, ki Asszir fia, ki Ebiásáf fia, ki Kórákh fia.
the son of Thaath, the son of Aser, the son of Abiasaph, the son of Core,
38 Ki Jiczhár fia, ki Kéhát fia, ki Lévi fia, ki Izráel fia.
the son of Isaar, the son of Caath, the son of Levi, the son of Israel.
39 És ennek testvére, Asáf, a ki jobbkeze felől áll vala; Asáf, a Berekiás fia, ki Simea fia vala.
And his brother Asaph, who stood at his right hand; Asaph the son of Barachias, the son of Samaa,
40 Ki Mikáel fia, ki Bahásia fia, ki Melkija fia.
the son of Michael, the son of Baasia, the son of Melchia,
41 Ki Ethni fia, ki Zérah fia, ki Adája fia.
the son of Athani, the son of Zaarai,
42 Ki Etán fia, ki Zimma fia, ki Simhi fia.
the son of Adai, the son of Aetham, the son of Zammam, the son of Semei,
43 Ki Jáhát fia, ki Gerson fia, ki Lévi fia.
the son of Jeeth, the son of Gedson, the son of Levi.
44 Továbbá a Mérári fiai, a kik azokkal atyafiak valának, balkéz felől állnak vala; Etán, Kisi fia, ki Abdi fia, ki Malluk fia.
And the sons of Merari their brethren on the left hand: Aetham the son of Kisa, the son of Abai, the son of Maloch,
45 Ki Kasábja fia, ki Amásia fia, ki Hilkia fia.
the son of Asebi,
46 Ki Amsi fia, ki Báni fia, ki Sémer fia.
the son of Amessias, the son of Bani, the son of Semer,
47 Ki Makhli fia, ki Musi fia, ki Mérári fia, ki Lévi fia.
the son of Mooli, the son of Musi, the son of Merari, the son of Levi.
48 És testvéreik, a Léviták rendeltetnek vala az Isten háza hajlékának egyéb szolgálatjára.
And their brethren according to the houses of their fathers, [were] the Levites who were appointed to all the work of ministration of the tabernacle of the house of God.
49 Áron pedig és az ő fiai az egészen megégetendő áldozatnak oltára mellé, és a füstölő oltár mellé, a szentek-szentjének szolgálatja mellé, és az Izráel megszentelésére rendeltetének mind a szerint, a mint Mózes, az Isten szolgája megparancsolta volt.
And Aaron and his sons [were] to burn incense on the altar of whole burnt offerings, and on the altar of incense, for all the ministry [in] the holy of holies, and to make atonement for Israel, according to all things that Moses the servant of the Lord commanded.
50 Áron fiai pedig ezek: Eleázár, az ő fia, ennek fia Fineás, ennek fia Abisua.
And these [are] the sons of Aaron; Eleazar his son, Phinees his son, Abisu his son,
51 Ennek fia Bukki, ennek fia Uzzi, ennek fia Zerája.
Bokki his son, Ozi his son, Saraia his son,
52 Ennek fia Merájót, ennek fia Amárja, ennek fia Akhitúb.
Mariel his son, Amaria his son, Achitob his son,
53 Ennek fia Sádók, ennek fia Akhimás.
Sadoc his son, Achimaas his son.
54 És az Áron fiainak, a Kéhátiták nemzetségéből, ezek a lakhelyeik, letelepedésük szerint az ő vidékükön, mert ez jutott volt nékik sors által.
And these [are] their residences in their villages, in their coasts, to the sons of Aaron, to their family the Caathites: for they had the lot.
55 Ők kapták Hebront, a Júda földében és a körülte való legelőket.
And they gave them Chebron in the land of Juda, and its suburbs round about it.

But the fields of the city, and its villages, they gave to Chaleb the son of Jephonne.

And to the sons of Aaron they gave the cities of refuge, [even] Chebron, and Lobna and her suburbs round about, and Selna and her suburbs, and Esthamo and her suburbs,
58 És Hilent és annak legelőit, és Débirt és annak legelőit,
and Jethar and her suburbs, and Dabir and her suburbs,
59 Asánt és annak legelőit, és Béth-Semest és annak legelőit.
and Asan and her suburbs, and Baethsamys and her suburbs:
60 A Benjámin nemzetségéből: Gébát és annak legelőit, Allémetet és annak legelőit, Anatót várost is és annak legelőit. Ezeknek az ő nemzetségek szerint tizenhárom városuk volt.
and of the tribe of Benjamin Gabai and her suburbs, and Galemath and her suburbs, and Anathoth and her suburbs: all their cities [were] thirteen cities according to their families.
61 A Kéhát többi fiainak pedig az egy nemzetségnek családjaitól, és a félnemzetségből, a Manasse nemzetségének felétől, sors által tíz várost adtak.
And to the sons of Caath that were left of their families, [there were given] out of the tribe, [namely], out of the half-tribe of Manasse, by lot, ten cities.
62 Míg a Gerson fiainak meg az ő nemzetségök szerint az Izsakhár nemzetségéből, az Áser nemzetségéből, a Nafthali nemzetségéből és a Manasse nemzetségéből Básánban adtak tizenhárom várost.
And to the sons of Gedson according to their families [there were given] thirteen cities of the tribe of Issachar, of the tribe of Aser, of the tribe of Nephthali, of the tribe of Manasse in Basan.
63 A Mérári fiainak az ő nemzetségök szerint a Rúben nemzetségéből, a Gád nemzetségéből és a Zebulon nemzetségéből sors által tizenkét várost.
And to the sons of Merari according to their families [there were given], by lot, twelve cities of the tribe of Ruben, of the tribe of Gad, [and] of the tribe of Zabulon.
64 Adának tehát az Izráel fiai a Lévitáknak városokat, azoknak legelőivel együtt.
So the children of Israel gave to the Levites the cities and their suburbs.
65 Sors által adták a Júda nemzetségéből, a Simeon nemzetségéből és a Benjámin nemzetségéből ezeket a névszerint megnevezett városokat.
And they gave by lot out of the tribe of the children of Juda, and out of the tribe of the children of Symeon, and out of the tribe of the children of Benjamin, these cities which they call by name.
66 Azoknak, a kik a Kéhát fiainak családjaiból valók voltak, és a határukban levő városok az Efraim nemzetségéből valának:
And [to the members] of the families of the sons of Caath there were also given the cities of their borders out of the tribe of Ephraim.
67 Azoknak adák a menedékvárosokat, Sikemet és annak legelőit az Efraim hegyén, Gézert és annak legelőit.
And they gave them the cities of refuge, Sychem and her suburbs in mount Ephraim, and Gazer and her suburbs,
68 És Jokmeámot és annak legelőit, Bethoront és annak legelőit.
and Jecmaan and her suburbs, and Baethoron and her suburbs,
69 Ajalont és annak legelőit; Gáthrimmont is és annak legelőit.
and Aelon and her suburbs, and Gethremmon and her suburbs:
70 A Manasse nemzetségének feléből Anert és annak legelőit, Bileámot és annak legelőit, a Kéhát többi fiainak családjai részére.
and of the half-tribe of Manasse Anar and her suburbs, and Jemblaan and her suburbs, to the sons of Caath that were left, according to [each several] family.
71 A Gerson fiainak pedig a Manasse félnemzetségéből Gólánt Básánban és annak legelőit, és Astarótot és annak legelőit:
To the sons of Gedson from the families of the half-tribe of Manasse [they gave] Golan of Basan and her suburbs, and Aseroth and her suburbs.
72 Az Izsakhár nemzetségéből adák Kédest és annak legelőit; Dobrátot és annak legelőit.
And out of the tribe of Issachar, Kedes and her suburbs, and Deberi and her suburbs, and Dabor and her suburbs,
73 Rámótot és annak legelőit, Anémet és annak legelőit.
and Ramoth, and Aenan and her suburbs.
74 Az Áser nemzetségéből Másált és annak legelőit, és Abdont és annak legelőit.
And of the tribe of Aser; Maasal and her suburbs, and Abdon and her suburbs,
75 Hukókot és annak legelőit; Réhobot és annak legelőit.
and Acac and her suburbs, and Roob and her suburbs.
76 A Nafthali nemzetségéből Kédest Galileában és annak legelőit; Hammont és annak legelőit; és Kirjáthaimot és annak legelőit.
And of the tribe of Nephthali; Kedes in Galilee and her suburbs, and Chamoth and her suburbs, and Kariathaim and her suburbs.
77 A Mérári többi fiainak a Zebulon nemzetségéből Rimmont és annak legelőit, és Thábort és annak legelőit.
To the sons of Merari that were left, [they gave] out of the tribe of Zabulon Remmon and her suburbs, and Thabor and her suburbs:
78 A Jordánon túl Jérikhó ellenében a Jordánnak napkelet felől való részében a Rúben nemzetségéből Bésert a pusztában és annak legelőit; Jahását és annak legelőit.
out of [the country] beyond Jordan; Jericho westward of Jordan: out of the tribe of Ruben; Bosor in the wilderness and her suburbs, and Jasa and her suburbs,
79 Kedemótot és annak legelőit; Mefaátot és annak legelőit.
and Kadmoth and her suburbs, and Maephla and her suburbs.
80 A Gád nemzetségéből Rámótot Gileádban és annak legelőit; Mahanaimot és annak legelőit.
Out of the tribe of Gad; Rammoth Galaad and her suburbs, and Maanaim and her suburbs,
81 Hesbont és annak legelőit; Jaázert és annak legelőit.
and Esebon and her suburbs, and Jazer and her suburbs.
