1 Krónika 2
1 Ezek az Izráel fiai: Rúben, Simeon, Lévi, Júda, Issakhár és Zebulon;
These [are] sons of Israel: Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah, Issachar, and Zebulun,
2 Dán, József, Benjámin, Nafthali, Gád és Áser.
Dan, Joseph, and Benjamin, Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.
3 Júdának fiai: Hér, Ónán és Séla; e három születék néki a Kanaánita Súahnak leányától. De Hér, Júdának elsőszülött fia gonosz vala az Úr szemei előtt, és megölé őt az Úr.
Sons of Judah: Er, and Onan, and Shelah, three have been born to him of a daughter of Shua the Canaanitess. And Er, first-born of Judah, is evil in the eyes of Jehovah, and He putteth him to death.
4 Thámár pedig, az ő menye szülé néki Péreczet és Zerákhot. Júdának fiai mindnyájan öten valának.
And Tamar his daughter-in-law hath borne to him Pharez and Zerah. All the sons of Judah [are] five.
5 Pérecz fiai: Kheczrón és Khámul.
Sons of Pharez: Hezron, and Hamul.
6 Zerákh fiai pedig: Zimri és Ethán, Hémán, Kálkól és Dára; mindenestől öten.
And sons of Zerah: Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara; all of them five.
7 Kármi fiai: Ákán, Izráelnek megrontója, mivel lopott a zsákmányból.
And sons of Carmi: Achar, troubler of Israel, who trespassed in the devoted thing.
8 Ethán fia: Azária.
And sons of Ethan: Azariah.
9 Kheczrón fiai, kik születtenek néki: Jérakhméel, Rám és Kélubai.
And sons of Hezron who were born to him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
10 Rám nemzé Amminádábot, Amminádáb pedig nemzé Nakhsont, a Júda fiainak fejedelmét.
And Ram begat Amminadab, and Amminadab begat Nahshon, prince of the sons of Judah;
11 Nakhson nemzé Szálmát, Szálma pedig nemzé Boázt;
and Nahshon begat Salma, and Salma begat Boaz,
12 Boáz nemzé Obedet; Obed nemzé Isait;
and Boaz begat Obed, and Obed begat Jesse;
13 Isai pedig nemzé Eliábot, az ő elsőszülöttét, és Abinádábot, másodikat, Simeát, harmadikat.
and Jesse begat his first-born Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimea the third,
14 Netanéelt, negyediket, és Raddait, ötödiket.
Nethaneel the fourth, Raddai the fifth,
15 Osemet, hatodikat és Dávidot, a hetedik fiát;
Ozem the sixth, David the seventh,
16 És nővéreiket, Séruját és Abigáilt. Sérujának pedig fiai voltak: Absai, Joáb és Asáel, e három.
and their sisters Zeruiah and Abigail. And sons of Zeruiah: Abishai, and Joab, and Asah-El — three.
17 Abigáil szülé Amasát; Amasának atyja pedig az Ismáel nemzetségéből való Jéter vala.
And Abigail hath borne Amasa, and the father of Amasa [is] Jether the Ishmeelite.
18 Káleb pedig, a Kheczrón fia nemzett vala az ő Azuba nevű feleségétől és Jérióttól; és ezek az ő fiai: Jéser, Sobáb és Ardon.
And Caleb son of Hezron hath begotten Azubah, Isshah, and Jerioth; and these [are] her sons: Jesher, and Shobab, and Ardon.
19 Azuba meghala, és Káleb vevé magának feleségül Efratát, és ez szülé néki Húrt.
And Azubah dieth, and Caleb taketh to him Ephrath, and she beareth to him Hur.
20 Húr nemzé Urit, Uri pedig nemzé Bésaléelt.
And Hur begat Uri, and Uri begat Bezaleel.
21 Azután beméne Kheczrón Mákirnak, Gileád atyjának leányához; mert ő ezt elvette vala hatvan esztendős korában, és szülé néki Ségubot.
And afterwards hath Hezron gone in unto a daughter of Machir father of Gilead, and he hath taken her, and he [is] a son of sixty years, and she beareth to him Segub.
22 Ségub pedig nemzé Jáirt, kinek huszonhárom városa vala a Gileád földén.
And Segub begat Jair, and he hath twenty and three cities in the land of Gilead,
23 De Gesur és Árám elvették tőlük Jáir falvait, Kenáthot és mezővárosait, hatvan várost. Mindezek Mákirnak, a Gileád atyjának fiaié.
and he taketh Geshur and Aram, the small villages of Jair, from them, with Kenath and its small towns, sixty cities — all these [belonged to] the sons of Machir father of Gilead.
24 Minekutána pedig meghala Kheczrón Káleb-Efratában, akkor szülé néki Abija, a Kheczrón felesége, Ashúrt, Tékoa atyját.
And after the death of Hezron in Caleb-Ephratah, then the wife of Hezron, Abijah, even beareth to him Asshur, father of Tekoa.
25 Jérakhméelnek, a Kheczrón elsőszülöttének fiai voltak: Rám, az elsőszülött, Búna, Orem, Osem és Akhija.
And sons of Jerahmeel, first-born of Hezron, are: the first-born Ram, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, Ahijah.
26 Volt más felesége is Jérakhméelnek, Atára nevű; ez az Onám anyja.
And Jerahmeel hath another wife, and her name [is] Atarah, she [is] mother of Onam.
27 Rámnak, Jérakhméel elsőszülöttének pedig fiai voltak: Maás, Jámin és Héker.
And sons of Ram, first-born of Jerahmeel, are Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
28 Onám fiai voltak: Sammai és Jáda; és Sammai fiai: Nádáb és Abisúr.
And sons of Onam are Shammai and Jada. And sons of Shammai: Nadab and Abishur.
29 Abisúr feleségének neve Abihail, a ki szülé néki Akhbánt és Mólidot.
And the name of the wife of Abishur [is] Abihail, and she beareth to him Ahban and Molid.
30 Nádáb fiai: Széled és Appaim: Széled magtalanul halt meg.
And sons of Nadab: Seled, and Appaim; and Seled dieth without sons.
31 Appaim fia: Isi; Isi fia: Sésán; Sésán fia: Ahálai.
And sons of Appaim: Ishi. And sons of Ishi: Sheshan. And sons of Sheshan: Ahlai.
32 Jáda fiai, a ki Sammai testvére volt: Jéter és Jonathán; Jéter magtalanul halt meg.
And sons of Jada, brother of Shammai: Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether dieth without sons.
33 Jonathán fiai: Pélet és Záza. Ezek voltak a Jérakhméel fiai.
And sons of Jonathan: Peleth, and Zaza. These were sons of Jerahmeel.
34 Sésánnak nem voltak fiai, hanem csak leányai; de volt Sésánnak egy Égyiptombeli szolgája, Járha nevű.
And Sheshan had no sons, but daughters, and Sheshan hath a servant, an Egyptian, and his name [is] Jarha,
35 És adá Sésán e Járha nevű szolgájának az ő leányát feleségül, a ki szülé néki Athait.
and Sheshan giveth his daughter to Jarha his servant for a wife, and she beareth to him Attai;
36 Athai pedig nemzé Nátánt; Nátán nemzé Zabádot;
and Attai begat Nathan, and Nathan begat Zabad,
37 Zabád nemzé Eflált; Eflál nemzé Obedet;
and Zabad begat Ephlal, and Ephlal begat Obed,
38 Obed nemzé Jéhut; Jéhu nemzé Azáriát.
and Obed begat Jehu,
39 Azária nemzé Hélest; Héles nemzé Elását;
and Jehu begat Azariah, and Azariah begat Helez, and Helez begat Eleasah,
40 Elása nemzé Sisémait; Sisémai nemzé Sallumot;
and Eleasah begat Sismai, and Sismai begat Shallum,
41 Sallum nemzé Jékámiát; Jékámia pedig nemzé Elisámát.
and Shallum begat Jekamiah, and Jekamiah begat Elishama.
42 A Káleb fiai pedig, a ki Jérakhméel testvére vala: elsőszülötte Mésa; ez volt Zifnek és Marésa fiainak atyjok, Hebronnak atyja.
And sons of Caleb brother of Jerahmeel: Mesha his first-born, he [is] father of Ziph; and sons of Mareshah: Abi-Hebron.
43 Hebron fiai: Kórah, Tappuah, Rékem és Séma.
And sons of Hebron: Korah, and Tappuah, and Rekem, and Shema.
44 Séma pedig nemzé Rahámot, a Jorkeám atyját; és Rékem nemzé Sammait,
And Shema begat Raham father of Jorkoam, and Rekem begat Shammai.
45 A Sammai fia pedig: Máon; ez a Máon volt a Bethsúr atyja.
And a son of Shammai [is] Maon, and Maon [is] father of Beth-Zur.
46 Efa pedig, a Káleb ágyastársa, szülé Háránt és Mósát és Gázezt; és Hárán nemzé Gázezt.
And Ephah concubine of Caleb bare Haran, and Moza, and Gazez; and Haran begat Gazez.
47 Jaddai fiai pedig: Régem, Jotám, Gésán, Pelet, Héfa és Saáf.
And sons of Jahdai: Regem, and Jotham, and Geshem, and Pelet, and Ephah, and Shaaph.
48 A Káleb ágyasa Maaka szülé Sébert és Tirhánát.
The concubine of Caleb, Maachah, bare Sheber and Tirhanah;
49 És szülé Saáfot, Madmanna atyját, Sevát, a Makbéna atyját és Gibea atyját; és Aksza a Káleb leánya vala.
and she beareth Shaaph father of Madmannah, Sheva father of Machbenah, and father of Gibea; and a daughter of Caleb [is] Achsa.
50 Ezek voltak Káleb fiai, a ki Húrnak, az Efrata elsőszülöttének fia volt: Sobál, Kirját-Jeárim atyja.
These were sons of Caleb son of Hur, first-born of Ephrathah: Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim,
51 Szálma, Bethlehem atyja; Háref, Bethgáder atyja.
Salma father of Beth-Lehem, Hareph father of Beth-Gader.
52 Voltak pedig Sobálnak is, a Kirját-Jeárim atyjának fiai: Haroé, a fél Menuhót ura.
And there are sons to Shobal father of Kirjath-Jearim: Haroeh, half of the Menuhothite;
53 A Kirját-Jeárim háznépei: Jitreusok, Puteusok, Sumateusok, Misraiteusok; ezektől származának a Sorateusok és az Estaoliteusok.
and the families of Kirjath-Jearim: the Ithrite, and the Puhite, and the Shumathite, and the Mishraite: from these went out the Zareathite, and the Eshtaulite.
54 Szálma fiai, Bethlehem és a Netofátbeliek, Atróth, Beth-Joáb, a Czórabeli Manahateusok fele.
Sons of Salma: Beth-Lehem, and the Netophathite, Atroth, Beth-Joab, and half of the Menuhothite, the Zorite;
55 És a Jábesben lakozó tudós emberek háznépei: a Tirateusok, Simateusok, Sukateusok. Ezek a Kineusok, a kik Hámáttól, a Rékáb házának atyjától származtak.
and the families of the scribes the inhabitants of Jabez: Tirathites, Shimeathites, Suchathites. They [are] the Kenites, those coming of Hammath father of the house of Rechab.
