Zsoltárok 98

1 Zsoltár. Énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak új éneket! Mert csodatetteket mívelt; segített neki jobbja és szentséges karja.

O sing unto Yhwh a new song; for he hath done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, hath gotten him the victory.

2 Megismertette segítségét az Örökkévaló, a nemzetek szemei előtt Megnyilvání-totta igazságát.

Yhwh hath made known his salvation: his righteousness hath he openly shewed in the sight of the heathen.

3 Megemlékezett szeretetéről és hüségéről Izraél háza iránt, látták mind a föld népei Istenünk segítségét.

He hath remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 Riadjatok az Örökkévalónak, mind a földön levők, fakadjatok ki és ujjongjatok és zengjetek!

Make a joyful noise unto Yhwh, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

5 Zengjetek az Örökkévalónak hárfával, hárfával és zeneszóval;

Sing unto Yhwh with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

6 trombitákkal és harsonaszóval, riadjatok a király, az Örökkévaló előtt!

With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before Yhwh, the King.

7 Dörögjön a tenger és teljessége, a világ és a benne lakók;

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

8 folyamok csapják össze tenyerüket, együttesen ujjongjanak a hegyek:

Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

9 az Örökkévaló előtt, mert jön itélni a földet; ítéli a világot igazsággal s a népeket egyenességgel.

Before Yhwh; for he cometh to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
