Zsoltárok 97
1 Az Örökkévaló király lett: vigadjon a föld, örüljenek a sok szigetek!
Yahweh he reigns let it be glad the earth let them rejoice islands many.
2 Felhő és sűrű köd van körülőtte, igazság és jog trónjának talapzata.
Cloud and thick darkness [are] around him [is] righteousness and justice [the] foundation of throne his.
3 Tűz jár előtte s elégeti szorongatóit köröskörül.
Fire before him it goes and it may burn up all around opponents his.
4 Megvilágították villámai a világot, látta és reszketett a föld.
They light up lightning flashes his [the] world it sees and it trembled the earth.
5 Hegyek mint a viasz elolvadtak az Örökkévaló elől, az egész föld ura elől.
Mountains like wax they melt from to before Yahweh from to before [the] lord of all the earth.
6 Megjelentették az egek az ő igazságát, hogy lássák dicsőségét mind a népek.
They declare the heavens righteousness his and they see all the peoples glory his.
7 Megszégyenülnek mind a képimádók, kik dicsekszenek a bálványokkal: leborúl-tak előtte mind az istenek.
Let them be ashamed - all [those who] serve an image those [who] boast in worthless idols bow down to him O all gods.
8 Hallotta és megörült Czión és vigadtak Jehúda leányai ítéleteidnek miatta, Örökkévaló!
It hears and it rejoiced - Zion and they were glad [the] daughters of Judah on account of judgments your O Yahweh.
9 Mert te, Örökkévaló, legfelső vagy az egész föld fölött, nagyon fölemelkedtél mind az istenek fölé.
For you O Yahweh [are] most high over all the earth exceedingly you are exalted above all gods.
10 A kik szeretitek az Örökkévalót, gyűlöljétek a rosszat! Megőrzi jámborai lelkeit, gonoszoknak kezéből megmenti őket.
O [you who] love Yahweh hate evil [he is] protecting [the] lives of faithful [people] his from [the] hand of wicked [people] he delivers them.
11 Világosság van elvetve az igaznak, s az egyenes szivüeknek öröm.
Light [is] sown for the righteous and for [people] upright of heart joy.
12 Örüljetek, igazak, az Örökkévalóban, és mondjatok hálát szent nevének!
Rejoice O righteous [people] in Yahweh and give thanks to [the] remembrance of holiness his.
