1 Énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak új éneket, énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak mind a földön levők!
O sing to Jehovah a new song. Sing to Jehovah, all the earth.
2 Énekeljetek az Örökkévalónak, áldjátok nevét, hirdessétek napról napra segitségét!
Sing to Jehovah, bless his name. Show forth his salvation from day to day.
3 Beszéljétek a nemzetek közt dicsőségét, mind a népek közt csodatetteit!
Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples.
4 Mert nagy az Örökkévaló és dicséretes nagyon, félelmetes Ő mind az istenek fölött.
For great is Jehovah, and greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods.
5 Mert mind a népek istenei bálványok, de az Örökkévaló az eget készítotte.
For all the gods of the peoples are idols, but Jehovah made the heavens.
6 Fenség és dísz van előtte, erő és pompa szentélyében.
Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Adjatok az Örökkévalónak, népek családjai, adjatok az Örökkévalónak dicsőséget és erőt;
Ascribe to Jehovah, ye kindred of the peoples. Ascribe to Jehovah glory and strength.
8 adjátok az Örökkévalónak neve dicsőségét, vigyetek ajándékot és menjetek be udvaraiba!
Ascribe to Jehovah the glory due to his name. Bring an offering, and come into his courts.
9 Borúljatok le az Örökkévaló előtt szent díszben, reszkessetek tőle mind a földön levők!
O worship Jehovah in holy array. Tremble before him, all the earth.
10 Mondjátok a nemzetek közt: Az Örökkévaló király lett, szilárdan is áll a világ, nem inog meg; népeket itél egyenességgel.
Say among the nations, Jehovah reigns! The world also is established that it cannot be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity.
11 Örüljenek az egek s vigadjon a föld, dörögjön a tenger s teljessége;
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof.
12 újjongjon a mező s mind a mi rajta van, akkor örvendjenek mind az erdő fái:
Let the field exult, and all that is in it. Then all the trees of the wood shall sing for joy
13 az Örökkévaló előtt, mert jön, mert jön itélni a földet; itéli a világot igazsággal s a népeket hűségében.
before Jehovah, for he comes. For he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth.
