Zsoltárok 22
1 A karmesternek. A Hajnal szarvasünője azerint. Zsoltár Dávidtól. Istenem, Istenem, miért hagytál el engem, távol vannak segítségemtől kiáltásom szavai?
“For the leader of the music. To the tune of “The hind of the morning.” A psalm of David.” My God, my God! why hast thou forsaken me? Why so far from mine aid, and from the words of my cry?
2 Istenem, nappal hívlak és nem felelsz, s éjjel, és nincs számomra csillapulás.
O my God! I cry during the day, but thou hearest not; In the night also, but I have no rest.
3 Pedig te szent v agy. lakozol Izraél dicsérő dalai közt;
And yet thou art holy, Dwelling amid the praises of Israel!
4 te benned bíztak őseink, bíztak és te kiszabadítottad őket.
Our fathers trusted in thee; They trusted, and thou didst save them.
5 Hozzád kiáltottak és megmenekültek, benned bíztak és nem szégyenültek meg.
They called upon thee, and were delivered; They trusted in thee, and were not put to shame.
6 De én féreg vagyok és nem férfi, emberek esúfja a népnek megvetettje.
But I am a worm, and not a man; The reproach of men, and the scorn of the people.
7 Mind a kik 1átnak, gúnyolódtak rajtam, félrehúzzák az ajkat, fejet ráznak.
All who see me scoff at me; They open wide the lips; they shake the head.
8 Hárítsd az Örökkévalóra! Majd megszabadítja őt, megmenti, mert kedveli őt.
“He trusted in the LORD, let him help him; Let him deliver him, since he delighted in him!”
9 Igen is, te vagy az, a ki anyaméhből kivontál, biztatóm anyámnak emlőin;
Surely thou art he that didst bring me into the world; Thou didst make me lie secure upon my mother's breast!
10 te reád vettettem születéstől fogva, anyám méhétől fogva Istenem vagy.
Upon thee have I cast myself from my birth; Thou hast been my God from my earliest breath!
11 Ne légy távol tőlem, mert közel a szorongatás, mert nincs, a ki segít.
Oh, be not far from me, for trouble is near; For there is none to help!
12 Környékeztek engem tulkok, sokan, Básán bikái hekerítottek engem;
Many bulls surround me; Strong bulls of Bashan close me in on every side.
13 fölnyitották reám szájuhat, akár széttépő és ordító oroszlán.
They open their mouths wide against me, Like a ravening and roaring lion.
14 Mint a. víz, öntettem ki, szétváltak mind a csontjaim; olyan lett szívem, mint a viasz, elolvadt belsőmben.
I am poured out like water, And all my bones are out of joint; My heart is become like wax; It melteth in my bosom.
15 Kiszáradt mint cserép az erőm, nyelvem oda tapasztva szájkapcsaimhoz: halál porába fektetsz engemet.
My strength is dried up like an earthen vessel, And my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; Thou hast brought me to the dust of death!
16 Mert környékeztek engem ebek, gonosztevők hordája körülfogott engem, mint oroszlán, kezeimen és lábaimon;
For dogs have surrounded me; Bands of evil-doers have encompassed me, —Like lions my hands and my feet.
17 megazámlálhatom mind a csontjaimat: ők tekintenek, néznek reám.
I can count all my bones; They gaze, and feast their eyes upon me.
18 Szétosztják maguk közt ruháimat, és öltözetemre sorsot vetnek.
They divide my garments among them, And for my vesture they cast lots.
19 Te pedig, Örökkévaló, ne légy távol, én erősségem, segítségemre siess!
But be not thou far from me, O LORD! O my strength! make haste to mine aid!
20 Mentsd meg a kardtól lelkemet, ebnek hatalmától magános lelkemet.
Deliver my life from the sword; My blood from the power of the dog;
21 Segíts meg engem oroszlán szájából és rémek szarvaitól – vajha meghallgatnál!
Save me from the lion's mouth; Shield me from the horns of the buffaloes!
22 Hadd beszéljem el nevedet testvéreimnek, gyülekezet közepette dicsérlek téged.
I will proclaim thy name to my brethren; In the midst of the congregation will I praise thee.
23 Istenfélők ti, dícsérjétek őt, Jákób egész magzatja, tiszteljétek őt és remegjetek tőle, Izraél egész magzatja!
Praise him, ye worshippers of Jehovah! Extol him, all ye race of Jacob. And fear him, all ye race of Israel!
24 Mert nem vetette meg és nem utálta meg a nyomorúnak nyomorát és nem rejtette el arczát előle, és mikor fohászhodott hozzá, hallgatott rá.
For he hath not despised nor abhorred the misery of the afflicted. Nor hath he hid his face from him; But when he cried unto him, he heard.
25 Tőled való dicsérő dalom nagy gyülekezetben, fogadásaímat megfizetem azok előtt, kik őt félik.
My praise shall be of thee in the great congregation; I will pay my vows before them that fear him!
26 Egyenek az alázatosak és lakjanak jól, dicsérjék az Örökkévalót, kik őt keresik éledjen fel szívetek mindétig!
The afflicted shall eat, and be satisfied; They that seek the LORD shall praise him; Your hearts shall be glad for ever and ever!
27 Megemlékeznek róla és megtérnek az Örökkévalóhoz mind a föld szélei, és leborulnak előtted mind a nemzetek családjai.
All the ends of the earth shall remember, and turn to Jehovah; All the families of the nations shall worship before thee!
28 Mert az Örökkévalóé a. királyság, s ő uralkodik a nemzeteken.
For the kingdom is Jehovah's; He is the governor of the nations.
29 Ettek és leborúltak mind a föld kövérjei; előtte letérdelnek mind a porba sülyedők, és a ki lelkét nem tartotta fönn.
All the rich of the earth shall eat and worship; Before him shall they also bow, who are going down to the dust, Who cannot keep themselves alive.
30 Ivadék fogja őt szolgální, elbeszélnek majd az Lrról a nemzedékneh;
The future generation shall serve him; The race which is to come shall hear of Jehovah.
31 jönnek majd és hirdetik igazságát a születendő népnek, hogy ő cselekedte!
They shall come, and declare his righteousness; His mighty deeds to the people that shall be born.
