1 Hallelúja! Dicsérjétek, szolgái ti az Örökkévalónak, dicsérjétek az Örökkévaló nevét!
Praise ye Yah! Praise, O ye servants of Yahweh, Praise the Name of Yahweh;
2 Legyen az Örökkévaló neve áldott mostantól mindörökké!
Be the Name of Yahweh blessed, henceforth, even to times age-abiding.
3 Napkeltétől napnyugtáig dicsérve legyen az Örökkévaló neve.
From the rising of the sun unto the going in thereof, Worthy to be praised, is the Name of Yahweh:
4 Magasztos mind a nemzetek fölött az Örökkévaló, az ég fölött van a dicsősége.
High above all nations, is Yahweh, Above the heavens, his glory.
5 Ki olyan, mint az Örökkévaló, a mi Istenünk? Ki magasan székel,
Who is like Yahweh our God? that goeth on high to dwell,
6 ki mélyen letekint az égben és a földre;
That cometh down low to look, through the heavens and through the earth;
7 föltámasztja porból a szegényt, szemétből fölemeli a szükölködőt,
That raiseth, out of the dust, the poor, From the dunghill, uplifteth the needy;
8 hogy ültesse a nemesek mellé, népének nemesei mellé.
To give a seat with nobles, with the nobles of his people!
9 Megnépesíti a magtalan nővel a házat, mint gyermekek anyja örvend. Hallelúja!
Causing the barren woman to dwell in a household, A mother of sons in her joy! Praise ye Yah.
