Zsoltárok 112

1 Hallelúja! Boldog a férfi, ki az Istent féli, parancsolatait kedveli nagyon!

Praise Yahweh! (Happy are/He is pleased with) those who revere him, those who happily obey his commands.

2 Hatalmas lesz magzatja az országban, az egyenesek nemzedéke megáldatik.

Their children will prosper in their land; and their descendants will be blessed [by God].

3 Vagyon és gazdagság van házában, s örökké megáll az igazsága.

Their families [MTY] will be very wealthy [DOU], and [the results of] their righteous deeds will endure forever.

4 A sötétségben világosság tündöklik föl az egyeneseknek: a kegyelmes és irgalmas és igazságos.

Godly/Righteous people are [like] lights [SIM] that shine in the darkness on those who are kind, merciful and righteous.

5 Jól jár férfi, ki könyörül és kölcsön ad, elintézi dolgait jog szerint;

Things [will] go well for those who generously lend money to others and who conduct their businesses honestly.

6 mert örökké nem tántorodik meg, örök emlékezetül lészen az igaz.

Righteous people will not be overwhelmed/worried/distressed [because of their troubles], and they will never be forgotten [by other people].

7 Rossz hírtől nem fél, megállapodott a szive, az Örökkévalóban bizakodó.

They are not afraid of [receiving] bad news; they confidently/completely trust in Yahweh.

8 Szilárd a szive, nem fél, mígnem rájuk néz szorongatóira.

They are confident and not afraid, because they know that they will see [God defeat] their enemies.

9 Szórva adott a. szükölködőknek, örökké megáll az igazsága, szarva emelkedik dicsőségben.

They give things generously to poor/needy [people]; [the results of] their kind deeds will endure forever, and they [will] be exalted and honored.

10 A gonosz látja és boszankodik, fogait vicsorítja és elcsügged; a gonoszok vágya elvész.

Wicked people see those things and are angry; they gnash their teeth [angrily], but they [will] disappear [and die]. The [wicked] things that they want to do [will] never happen.
