4 Mózes 34

1 És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:

And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying:

2 Parancsold meg Izrael fiainak és mondd nekik: Midőn bementek Kánaán országába, ez az ország, amely jut nektek birtokul, Kánaán országa határai szerint.

Command the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, When, ye, are coming into the land of Canaan, this is the land which shall fall unto you, as an inheritance, even the land of Canaan, by the boundaries thereof.

3 És legyen nektek a déli határszél: Cin pusztájától Edóm mellett, és legyen nektek a déli határ a Sóstenger szélétől kelet felé.

Ye shall therefore have a south corner, from the desert of Zin, on the side of Edom, —so shall ye have a south boundary, from the end of the salt sea, eastward:

4 Azután átkerül a határ Ákrábbim hágójától délre, átvonul Cinig és végei lesznek Kádes-Bárneától délre, továbbmegy Cháccár-Ádárig és átvonul Ácmónig.

and the boundary shall go round for you from the south towards the cliffs of Akrabbim, then cross over towards Zin, and the extension thereof shall be from the south to Kadesh-barnea, then shall it reach out to Hazar-addar, and cross over towards Azmon;

5 Azután átkerül a határ Ácmóntól Egyiptom patakjáig és végei lesznek a tengernél.

then shall the boundary turn round from Azmon towards the ravine of Egypt, —and the extension thereof shall be towards the sea.

6 A nyugati határ pedig legyen nektek a nagy tenger a határ; ez legyen nektek a nyugati határ.

And, for a west boundary, —ye shall have the great sea, even a boundary, this, shall serve you as west boundary.

7 Ez pedig legyen nektek az északi határ: a nagy tengertől húzzatok vonalat magatoknak a Hór hegyéig.

And, this, shall serve you as a north boundary, —From the great sea, ye shall draw a line for you to Mount Hor:

8 A Hór hegyétől húzzatok vonalat Chámosz mentén, és lesznek a határ végei Cedodnál.

From Mount Hor, ye shall draw a line to the entering in of Hamath, —and the extension of the boundary shall be towards Zedad:

9 Azután továbbmegy a határ Zifrónig és vége van Chácár-Énonnál; ez legyen nektek az északi határ.

then shall the boundary reach out towards Ziphron, and the extension thereof, be to Hazar-enan. This, shall serve you as a north, boundary.

10 És húzzatok magatoknak vonalat keleti határ gyanánt, Chácár-Énontól Sefomig.

Then shall ye draw for yourselves a line, for an east boundary, —from Hazar-enan towards Shepham;

11 Azután lemegy a határ Sefomból Rivloig, Ájintól keletre, lemegy a határ és érinti a Kinneresz tó partját kelet felől.

and the boundary shall go down from Shepham towards Riblah, on the east of Ain—then shall the boundary go down and strike on the side of the Sea of Chinnereth, eastward:

12 Azután lemegy a határ a Jordánig és végei lesznek a Sóstengernél; ez legyen számotokra az ország, határai szerint köröskörül.

then shall the boundary go down towards the Jordan, and the extension thereof be to the salt sea. This shall be your land by the boundaries thereof round about.

13 És megparancsolta Mózes Izrael fiainak, mondván: Ez az ország, melyet birtokba vegyetek a sors útján, amelyről megparancsolta az Örökkévaló, hogy adjátok a kilenc törzsnek, meg a fél törzsnek.

And Moses commanded the sons of Israel saying, —This, is the land, which ye shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh had commanded to be given to the nine tribes and the half tribe.

14 Mert elvették a Rúbéni fiainak törzse, atyáik háza szerint, meg Gádi fiainak törzse, atyáik háza szerint és a Menássének fél törzse elvették birtokukat;

For the tribe of the sons of the Reubenites by their ancestral house, and the tribe of the sons of Gad, by their ancestral house, have received, and, the half tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:

15 a két törzs és a fél törzs elvették birtokukat a Jordánon innen, Jerichóval szemben napkelet felé.

the two tribes, and the half tribe, have received their inheritance—on this side Jordan near Jericho, eastwards, towards sunrise.

16 És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:

Then spake Yahweh unto Moses, saying:

17 Ezek ama férfiak nevei, akik birtokba adják nektek az országot; Eleázár, a pap, Józsua, Nún fia;

These, are the names of the men who shall receive for you the land, as an inheritance, Eleazar, the priest, and Joshua, son of Nun.

18 meg egy-egy fejedelmet vegyetek törzsenként, hogy birtokba adják az országot.

Also, one prince from each tribe, shall ye take to receive the land, as an inheritance.

19 Ezek pedig a férfiak nevei: Júda törzséből Káleb, Jefune fia;

These, therefore, are the names of the men, —For the tribe of Judah, Caleb son of Jephunneh;

20 Simon fiainak törzséből Sámuel, Ámmihúd fia;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Simeon, Shemuel son of Ammihud:

21 Benjámin törzséből: Elidod, Kiszlón fia;

For the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad son of Chislon;

22 Dán fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Bukki, Jogli fia;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Dan, a prince—Bukki, son of Jogli:

23 József fiai közül, Menásse fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Chánniél, Éfód fia;

For the sons of Joseph, For the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, a prince, —Hanniel son of Ephod;

24 Efráim fiainak törzséből pedig a fejedelem Kemúél, Sifton fia;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Ephraim, a prince, —Kemuel, son of Shiphtan;

25 Zebúlun fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Elicofon, Párnoch fia;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Zebulun, a prince, —Elizaphan, son of Parnach;

26 Isszászár fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Páltiél, Ázzon fia:

And, for the tribe of the sons of Issachar, a prince, —Paltiel son of Azzan;

27 Ásér fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Áchidúd, Selómi fia;

And, for the tribe of the sons of Asher, a prince, —Ahihud son of Shelomi:

28 Náftáli fiainak törzséből a fejedelem Pedáhél, Ámmihúd fia.

And, for the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, a prince, —Pedahel, son of Ammihud.

29 Ezek azok, akiknek megparancsolta az Örökkévaló, hogy birtokot adjanak Izrael fiainak Kánaán országában.

These, are they whom Yahweh hath commanded to receive for the sons of Israel their inheritance, in the land of Canaan.
