Nehemiás 7
1 És volt, midőn fölépíttetett a fal és fölállítottam az ajtókat és kirendeltettek a kapuőrök, az énekesek s a leviták,
Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,
2 parancsot adtam testvéremnek, Chanáninak és Chananjának, a vár nagyjának Jeruzsálem felől, mert ő igaz ember volt és istenfélő, jobban sokaknál.
That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he [was] a faithful man, and feared God above many.
3 És mondtam nekik: Ne nyittassanak ki Jeruzsálem kapui, a míg a nap forrón nem süt, és a míg ők ott állnának, tegyék be az ajtókat és zárjátok el; és állítsátok föl Jéruzsálem lakóinak őrségeit, kit-kit őrizetére és kit-kit házával szemben.
And I said to them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun shall be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar [them]: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one [to be] over against his house.
4 De a város széles határú és nagy volt, a nép pedig kevés volt benne és nem voltak a házak fölépítve.
Now the city [was] large and great: but the people in it [were] few, and the houses [were] not built.
5 Ekkor szívembe adta az Istenem és összegyűjtöttem a nemeseket és vezéreket és a népet származásuk megállapítására; és meg is találtam a származás könyvét, azokét, a kik először fölmentek, s találtam írva benne:
And my God put into my heart to assemble the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them who came up at the first, and found written in it,
6 Ezek a tartomány fiai, a kik fölmentek a számkivetettek fogságából, a kiket számkivetett Nebúkadnecczár, Bábel királya és visszatértek Jeruzsálembe és Jehúdába, kiki az ő városába.
These [are] the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one to his city;
7 A kik jöttek Zerúbábellel, Jésúával, Nechemjával, Azarjával, Raamjával, Náchamánival, Mordekájjal, Bilsánnal, Miszpérettel, Bigvájjal, Nechúmmal, Báanával. Izraél népe férfiainak száma:
Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, [I say], of the men of the people of Israel [was this];
8 Pareós fiai: kétezerszázhetvenkettő.
The children of Parosh, two thousand a hundred and seventy two.
9 Sefatja fiai: háromszáz-hetvenkettő.
The children of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy two.
10 Árach fiai: hatszázötvenkettő.
The children of Arah, six hundred and fifty two.
11 Páchat-Móáb fiai, Jésúa és Jóáb fiaitól: kétezernyolczszáztizennyolc.
The children of Pahath-moab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen.
12 Élám fiai: ezerkétszáz-ötvennégy.
The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty four.
13 Zattú fiai: nyolczszáznegyvenöt.
The children of Zattu, eight hundred and forty five.
14 Zakkáj fiai: hétszázhatvan.
The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and sixty.
15 Binnúj fiai: hatszáznegyvennyolc.
The children of Binnui, six hundred and forty eight.
16 Bébáj fiai: hatszázhuszonnyolc.
The children of Bebai, six hundred and twenty eight.
17 Azgád fiai: kétezerháromszázhuszonkettő.
The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred and twenty two.
18 Adónikám fiai: hatszázhatvanhét.
The children of Adonikam, six hundred and sixty seven.
19 Bigváj fiai: kétezerhatvanhét.
The children of Bigvai, two thousand and sixty seven.
20 Ádin fiai: hatszázötvenöt.
The children of Adin, six hundred and fifty five.
21 Átér fiai Chizkijától: kilencvennyolc.
The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety eight.
22 Chásúm fiai: háromszázhuszonnyolc.
The children of Hashum, three hundred and twenty eight.
23 Béczáj fiai: háromszázhuszonnégy.
The children of Bezai, three hundred and twenty four.
24 Cháríf fiai: száztizenkettő.
The children of Hariph, a hundred and twelve.
25 Gibeón fiai; kilencvenöt.
The children of Gibeon, ninety five.
26 Bét-Léchem és Netófa emberei: száznyolczvannyolcz.
The men of Beth-lehem and Netophah, a hundred and eighty eight.
27 Anátót emberei: százhuszonnyolc.
The men of Anathoth, a hundred and twenty eight.
28 Bét-Azmávet emberei: negyvenkettő.
The men of Beth-azmaveth, forty two.
29 Kirjat Jeárim, Kefíra és Beérót emberei: hétszáznegyvenhárom.
The men of Kirjath-jearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred and forty three.
30 Ráma és Gébá emberei: hatszázhuszonegy.
The men of Ramah and Gaba, six hundred and twenty one.
31 Michmász emberei: százhuszonkettő.
The men of Michmas, a hundred and twenty two.
32 Bét-Él és Áj emberei: százhuszonhárom.
The men of Beth-el and Ai, a hundred and twenty three.

The men of the other Nebo, fifty two.
34 A másik Élám fiai: ezerkétszázötvennégy.
The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred and fifty four.

The children of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred and seventy three.
40 Immér fiai: ezerötvenkettő.
The children of Immer, a thousand and fifty two.
41 Paschúr fiai: ezerkétszáznegyvenhét.
The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred and forty seven.

The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, [and] of the children of Hodevah, seventy four.

The singers: the children of Asaph, a hundred and forty eight.
45 A kapuőrök. Sallúm fiai, Átér fiai, Talmón fiai, Akkúb fiai, Chatíta fiai, Sóbáj fiai: százharmincnyolc;
The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, a hundred and thirty eight.
46 A szentélyszolgák. Czícha fiai, Chaszúfa fiai, Tabbáót fiai;
The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth,
47 Kérósz fiai, Szia fiai, Pádón fiai;
The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,
48 Lebána fiai, Chagábá fiai, Szalmáj fiai;
The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,
49 Chánán fiai, Giddél fiai, Gáchar fiai;
The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,
50 Reája fiai, Reczín fiai, Nekóda fiai;
The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,
51 Gazzám fiai, Uzza fiai, Pászéach fiai;
The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,
52 Bészaj fiai, Meúnim fiai, Nefiseszim fiai;
The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,
53 Bakbúk fiai, Chakúfa fiai, Charchúr fiai;
The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,
54 Baczlit fiai, Mechída fiai, Charsa fiai;
The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,
55 Barkósz fiai, Szíszera fiai, Témach fiai;
The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,
56 Neczíach fiai, Chatífa fiai.
The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.
57 Salamon szolgáinak fiai. Szótaj fiai, Szóféret fiai, Perída fiai;
The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,
58 Jáala fiai, Darkón fiai, Giddél fiai;
The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,
59 Sefatja fiai, Chattíl fiai, Pókhéret-Haczebájim fiai, Ámón fiai.
The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.
60 Mind a szentélyszolgák és Salamon szolgáinak fiai: háromszáz-kilencvenkettő.
All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, [were] three hundred and ninety two.
61 És ezek, a kik fölmentek Tél-Mélachból, Tél-Charsából, Kerúb-Addónból és Immérből, de nem tudták megjelenteni atyai házukat és családjukat, vajon Izraélből valók-e:
And these [were] they who went up [also] from Tel-mela, Tel-haresha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not show their fathers house, nor their seed, whether they [were] of Israel.
62 Delája fiai, Tóbija fiai, Nekóda fiai, hatszáznegyvenkettő;
The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred and forty two.
63 És a papok közül: Chobája fiai, Hakócz fiai, Barzillaj fiai, a ki elvett a gileádi Barzillaj leányaiból feleséget és az ő nevükről elneveztetett.
And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, who took [one] of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite for a wife, and was called after their name.
64 Ezek keresték származási iratukat, de nem találtatott, és visszavettettek a papságtól.
These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.
65 És mondta nekik a tirsáta, hogy ne egyenek a szentek szentjéből, míg nem támadna pap az úrím és tummím számára.
And the Tirshatha said to them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there should stand [up] a priest with Urim and Thummim.
66 Az egész gyülekezet egyetemben: negyvenkétezerháromszázhatvan.
The whole congregation together [was] forty two thousand three hundred and sixty.
67 Szolgáikon és szolgálóikon kívül; ezek: hétezerháromszázharminchét; voltak énekeseik és énekesnőik: kétszáznegyvenöt.
Besides their man-servants and their maid-servants, of whom [there were] seven thousand three hundred and thirty seven: and they had two hundred and forty five singing-men and singing-women.
68 Lovaik: hétszázharminchat; öszvéreik: kétszáznegyvenöt;
Their horses, seven hundred and thirty six: their mules, two hundred and forty five:
69 tevék: négyszázharmincöt; szamarak: hatezerhétszázhúsz.
[Their] camels, four hundred and thirty five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.
70 És néhányan az atyai házak fejei közül adakoztak a munkára. A tirsáta adott a kincstárnak: aranyat ezer darkemónt, tálakat: ötvenet, papi köntösöket: ötszázharmincat;
And some of the chief of the fathers gave to the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basins, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.
71 és az atyai házak fejei közül adtak a munka kincstárának aranyat: húszezer darkemónt, és ezüstöt: kétezerkétszáz mánét.
And [some] of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work, twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pounds of silver.
72 A mit pedig a többi nép adott, arany: húszezer darkemón, és ezüst: kétezer máné, papi köntösök: hatvanhét.
And [that] which the rest of the people gave [was] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty seven priests' garments.
73 És letelepedtek a papok és leviták, meg a kapuőrök s az énekesek és a népből valók, és a szentélyszolgák és egész Izraél városaikban. És elérkezett a hetedik hónap, Izraél fiai pedig városaikban voltak
So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel [were] in their cities.
