3 Mózes 22
1 És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
2 Szólj Áronhoz és fiaihoz, hogy tartózkodjanak Izrael fiainak szentségeitől, – hogy meg ne szentségtelenítsék szent nevemet – amelyeket ők szentelnek nekem; én vagyok az Örökkévaló.
“Tell Aaron [Light-bringer] and his sons to separate themselves from the holy things of the children of Israel [God prevails], which they make holy to me, and that they not profane my holy name. I am Adonai.
3 Mondd nekik: Nemzedékeiteken át mindenki, aki közeledik magzatotok közül a szentségekhez, melyeket szentelnek Izrael fiai az Örökkévalónak, mikor tisztátalansága rajta van, irtassék ki az a személy színem elől; én vagyok az Örökkévaló.
“Tell them, ‘If anyone of all your offspring throughout all your generations approaches the holy things, which the children of Israel [God prevails] make holy to Adonai, having his uncleanness on him, that soul shall be cut off from before me. I am Adonai.
4 Bárki Áron magzatából, aki poklos vagy folyós, a szentségekből ne egyék, amíg meg nem tisztul, és aki érint bármely halott által tisztátalant, vagy az, akinek ömlése van;
“‘Whoever of the offspring of Aaron [Light-bringer] is a leper or has an issue; he shall not eat of the holy things, until he is clean. Whoever touches anything that is unclean by the dead, or a man whose offspring goes from him;
5 vagy az, aki érint bármi csuszó-mászót, mely által tisztátalan lesz, vagy embert, aki által tisztátalan lesz mindenféle tisztátalansága szerint;
or whoever touches any creeping thing, whereby he may be made unclean, or a man of whom he may take uncleanness, whatever uncleanness he has;
6 a személy, aki őt érinti, tisztátalan legyen estig; ne egyék a szentségekből, hacsak meg nem fürösztötte testét vízben.
the person that touches any such shall be unclean until the evening, and shall not eat of the holy things, unless he bathe his body in water.
7 Mikor lenyugodott a nap, akkor tiszta lesz; azután ehetik a szentségekből, mert kenyere az.
When the sun is down, he shall be clean; and afterward he shall eat of the holy things, because it is his bread.
8 Elhullott és szétszaggatott állatból ne egyék, hogy tisztátalan legyen általa; én vagyok az Örökkévaló:
That which dies of itself, or is torn by animals, he shall not eat, defiling himself by it. I am Adonai.
9 És őrizzék meg őrizetemet, hogy ne viseljenek miatta vétket és meghaljanak általa, midőn megszentségtelenítik azt; én vagyok az Örökkévaló, aki megszenteli őket.
“‘They shall therefore follow my requirements, lest they bear sin for it, and die therein, if they profane it. I am Yahweh M'Kaddesham [Yahweh our Santifier / He sustains breathing who makes them holy].
10 Senki idegen ne egyék a szentségből, a papnak lakója és bérmunkása ne egyék a szentségből.
“‘No stranger shall eat of the holy thing: a foreigner living with the priests, or a hired servant, shall not eat of the holy thing.
11 És ha a pap vesz valamely személyt, pénzén vett szolgájául, az ehetik belőle, és házának szülötte, ők ehetnek kenyeréből.
But if a priest buys a slave, purchased by his money, he shall eat of it; and such as are born in his house, they shall eat of his bread.
12 És a papnak a leánya, ha idegen férfié lesz, ő a szentségek ajándékából nem ehetik.
If a priest’s daughter is married to an outsider, she shall not eat of the heave offering of the holy things.
13 És a papnak leánya, ha özvegy lesz vagy elvált, magzata azonban nincs és visszatér az atyja házába, mint leány korában, atyja kenyeréből ehetik, de senki idegen ne egyék abból.
But if a priest’s daughter is a widow, or divorced, and has no child, and has teshuvah ·completely returned· to her father’s house, as in her youth, she may eat of her father’s bread: but no stranger shall eat any of it.
14 És ha valaki eszik a szentségből tévedésből, akkor toldja ötödrészét hozzá és adja a papnak a szentséget.
“‘If a man eats something holy unwittingly, then he shall add the fifth part of its value to it, and shall give the holy thing to the priest.
15 Meg ne szentségtelenítsék Izrael fiainak szentségeit, amit ajándékoznak az Örökkévalónak;
The priests shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel [God prevails], which they offer to Adonai,
16 hogy ne vegyenek magukra súlyos bűnt, midőn esznek szentségeikből, mert én vagyok az Örökkévaló, aki megszenteli őket.
and so cause them to bear the iniquity that brings guilt, when they eat their holy things; for I am Yahweh M'Kaddesham [Yahweh our Santifier / He sustains breathing who makes them holy].’”
17 És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
18 Szólj Áronhoz és fiaihoz, meg Izrael minden fiaihoz és mondd nekik: Bárki Izrael házából és az idegen közül Izraelben, aki áldozza áldozatát, bármely fogadalmaik szerint vagy bármely önkéntes adományaik szerint, amit áldoznak az Örökkévalónak égőáldozatul,
“Speak to Aaron [Light-bringer], and to his sons, and to all the children of Israel [God prevails], and say to them, ‘Whoever is of the house of Israel [God prevails], or of the foreigners in Israel [God prevails], who offers his offering, whether it is any of their vows, or any of their free will offerings, which they offer to Adonai for a burnt offering;
19 kedves fogadtatásra legyen nektek; ép legyen, hím a marhából, juhokból és a kecskékből.
that you may be accepted, you shall offer a male without defect, of the bulls, of the sheep, or of the goats.
20 Minden, amin hiba van, azt ne áldozzátok, mert nem lesz kedves fogadtatásul nektek.
But whatever has a defect, that you shall not offer; for it shall not be acceptable for you.
21 És ha valaki áldoz békeáldozatot az Örökkévalónak kiváló fogadalmul, vagy önkéntes adományul a marhákból vagy a juhokból, ép legyen, kedves fogadtatásra; semmi hiba se legyen rajta.
Whoever offers a sacrifice of peace offerings to Adonai to accomplish a vow, or for a free will offering, of the herd or of the flock, it shall be perfect to be accepted. It shall have no defect.
22 Vakot vagy sérültet vagy bénultat vagy fekélyest vagy rühest vagy varast ne áldozzátok azokat az Örökkévalónak és tűzáldozatot ne adjatok belőlük az oltárra az Örökkévalónak.
Blind, injured, maimed, having a wart, festering, or having a running sore: you shall not offer these to Adonai, nor make an offering by fire of them on the altar to Adonai.
23 Ökröt vagy juhot, mely hosszú tagú vagy rövid tagú, önkéntes adományul adhatod azt, de fogadalom gyanánt nem fogadtatik kedvesen.
Either a bull or a lamb that has any deformity or lacking in his parts, that you may offer for a free will offering; but for a vow it shall not be accepted.
24 Amelynek tagja összenyomott vagy összezúzott vagy megszakadt vagy kiirtott, azt ne áldozzátok az Örökkévalónak és országotokban ne tegyetek ilyent.
You must not offer to Adonai that which has its testicles bruised, crushed, broken, or cut. You must not do this in your land.
25 Idegen kezéből ne áldozzátok Istenetek kenyerét mindezekből, mert romlásuk bennük van, hiba van rajtuk, nem fogadtatnak kedvesen tőletek.
You must not receive any of these from the hand of a foreigner to offer as bread for your God, because their deformity is a defect in them. They shall not be accepted for you.’”
26 És szólt az Örökkévaló Mózeshez, mondván:
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
27 Ökör vagy juh vagy kecske, ha születik legyen hét napig anyja alatt és a nyolcadik naptól kezdve és azon túl kedvesen fogadtatik tűzáldozatul az Örökkévalónak.
“When a bull, or a sheep, or a goat, is born, then it shall remain seven days with its mother; and from the eighth day and thenceforth it shall be accepted for the offering of an offering made by fire to Adonai.
28 Ökröt vagy juhot, azt meg fiát ne vágjátok le egy napon.
Whether it is a cow or ewe, you shall not kill it and its young both in one day.
29 Ha pedig áldoztok hálaáldozatot az Örökkévalónak, kedves fogadtatásra áldozzátok azt.
“When you offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving to Adonai, you shall sacrifice it so that you may be accepted.
30 Azon napon egyék meg, ne hagyjatok belőle reggelre; én vagyok az Örökkévaló.
It shall be eaten on the same day; you shall leave none of it until the morning. I am Adonai.
31 Őrizzétek meg parancsolataimat és tegyétek meg azokat; én vagyok az Örökkévaló.
“Therefore you shall keep my mitzvot ·instructions·, and do them. I am Adonai.
32 És meg ne szentségtelenítsétek szent nevemet, hogy megszenteltessem Izrael fiai között; én vagyok az Örökkévaló, aki megszentel benneteket,
You shall not profane my holy name, but I will be made holy among the children of Israel [God prevails]. I am Adonai who makes you holy,
33 aki kivezetett benneteket Egyiptom országából, hogy legyen a ti Istenetek; én vagyok az Örökkévaló.
who brought you out of the land of Egypt [Abode of slavery], to be your God. I am Adonai.”
