1 Mózes 9
1 És megáldotta Isten Nóét és fiait, és mondta nekik: Szaporodjatok, sokasodjatok és töltsétek be a földet.
So God blessed Noah and his sons, —and said to them Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth;
2 A tőletek való félelem és rettegés legyen a föld minden állatján és az ég minden madarán, mindenen ami mozog a földön, meg a tenger minden halain. Kezetekbe adattak.
and let the fear of you and the dread of you be upon every living creature of the earth, and upon every bird of the heavens, —over everything that moveth along on the ground, and over all the fishes of the sea, —into your hand, have they been given.
3 Minden mozgó lény, amely él, a tietek legyen eledelül; mint a zöld füvet, úgy adtam nektek mindet.
As for every moving thing that hath life, yours, shall it be, for food, —Like the green herb, have I given you all things.
4 De húst lelkével: vérével ne egyetek!
Yet flesh with the life thereof, the blood thereof, shall ye not eat;
5 És bizony véreteket lelketek szerint számon kérem, minden élőlény kezéből számon kérem azt; és az ember kezéből, mindenki testvérének kezéből számon kérem az ember lelkét.
And surely your blood, of your lives, will I require, From the hand of every living creature, will I require it, —and from the hand of man From the hand of each one’s brother, will I require the life of man:
6 Aki ember vérét ontja, ember által ontassék annak vére, mert Isten képmására alkotta az embert.
He that sheddeth man’s blood, by man, shall his blood be shed, —For, in the image of God, made he man.
7 Ti pedig szaporodjatok és sokasodjatok, nyüzsögjetek a földön és sokasodjatok rajta.
Ye, therefore, be fruitful and multiply, swarm in the earth and multiply therein.
8 És szólt Isten Nóéhoz, meg fiaihoz, mondván:
And God spake unto Noah, and unto his sons with him saying:
9 Íme, én megkötöm szövetségemet veletek és magzatotokkal utánatok;
I, therefore, behold me! establishing my covenant with you, —and with your seed after you;
10 és minden élőlénnyel, mely veletek van, madárból, baromból és a föld minden vadjából, mely veletek van, mindazokkal, melyek kijöttek a bárkából, a föld minden vadja szerint.
and with every living soul that is with you, of birds, of tame-beasts and of all wild-beasts of the earth that are with you, —of all coming forth out of the ark, even to all wild-beasts of the earth;
11 És én megkötöm szövetségemet veletek, hogy ne irtassék ki többé semmi test sem özönvíz által és ne legyen többé özönvíz, hogy megrontsa a földet.
yea, I will establish my covenant with you, so that all flesh shall not be cut off any more, by reason of the waters of a flood, —neither shall there be any more a flood to destroy the earth.
12 És mondta Isten: Ez a jele a szövetségnek, melyet én helyezek közém és közétek és minden élőlény közé, mely veletek van, örök nemzedékekre.
And God said, This, is the sign of the covenant which I am granting betwixt me and you, and every living soul that is with you, —to age-abiding generations: —
13 Ivemet helyeztem, a felhőbe, hogy legyen jeléül a szövetségnek közöttem és a föld között.
My bow, have I set in the cloud, —and it shall be for a sign of a covenant, betwixt me and the earth;
14 És lesz, midőn sűrű felhőt borítok a földre és meglátszik az ív a felhőben,
and it shall be when I draw a veil of cloud over the earth, —and the bow in the cloud appeareth,
15 akkor megemlékezem az én szövetségemről, mely van közöttem és köztetek és minden élőlény között minden testből; és nem lesz többé a víz özönné, hogy megrontson minden testet.
then will I remember my covenant which is betwixt me and you, and every living soul among all flesh, —that the waters may no more become a flood, to destroy all flesh:
16 És lesz az ív a felhőben és én meglátom azt, hogy megemlékezzem az örök szövetségről, mely van Isten között és minden élőlény között, minden testből, mely a földön van.
so the bow shall be in the cloud, —and I will behold it, to remember an age-abiding covenant, between God, and every living soul among all flesh that is on the earth.
17 És mondta Isten Nóénak: Ez a jele a szövetségnek, melyet szereztem közöttem és minden test között, mely a földön van.
And God said unto Noah, This is the sign of the covenant which have established, between me and all flesh that is on the earth.
18 És voltak Nóé fiai, akik kimentek a bárkából, Sém, Chom és Jefesz; Chom pedig, ő Kánaán atyja.
And the sons of Noah who came forth out of the ark, were—Shem and Ham and Japheth, —now, Ham, was the father of Canaan.
19 Ezek hárman Nóé fiai és ezektől népesült be az egész föld.
These three, were the sons of Noah, —and from these, was all the earth overspread.
20 És Nóé kezdte, a földműves, hogy szőlőt ültetett.
And Noah began to be a husbandman, —so he planted a vineyard:
21 És ivott a borból és megrészegedett és feltakaródzott sátorában.
and dank of the wine and became drunk, and uncovered himself in the midst of his tent.
22 Midőn meglátta Chom, Kánaán atyja, az ő atyjának meztelenségét, tudtára adta két fivérének, kinn.
And Ham the father of Canaan saw his father’s shame, —and told his two brethren outside.
23 És vették Sém és Jefesz a ruhát, rátették kettőjük vállára és mentek háttal fordulva és befödték atyjuk meztelenségét; arcuk pedig hátra fordulva volt és atyjuk meztelenségét nem láttak.
And Shem and Japheth took a mantle, and put it on the shoulder of them both and went backwards, and covered the shame of their father, but their faces were backwards, and the shame of their father, saw they not.
24 Midőn Nóé fölébredt borosságából, megtudta, mit tett vele kisebbik fia.
And Noah awoke from his wine, —and came to know what his youngest son had done to him.
25 És mondta: Átkozott Kánaán, rabszolgája legyen testvéreinek.
And he said, Accursed be Canaan, —a servant of servants, shall he be to his brethren!
26 És mondta: Áldott legyen az Örökkévaló, Sém Istene és Kánaán legyen az ő szolgájuk.
And he said, Blessed be Yahweh, God of Shem, —And let Canaan be their servant:
27 Terjessze ki Isten Jefeszt és lakjék Sém sátraiban; Kánaán pedig legyen az ő szolgájuk.
God give extension to Japheth, But make his habitation in the tents of Shem, And let Canaan be their servant.
28 És élt Nóé az özönvíz után háromszáz és ötven évig.
And Noah lived after the flood, —three hundred and fifty years:
29 Voltak pedig Nóé összes napjai: kilencszázötven év, azután meghalt.
so, all the days of Noah, were—nine hundred and fifty years, —and he died.
