1 Mózes 7
1 És mondta az Örökkévaló Nóénak: Menj be te és egész házad a bárkába, mert téged láttalak igazságosnak színem előtt ezen nemzedékben.
And Yahweh said to Noah, Enter thou and all thy house, into the ark, —for, thee, have I seen righteous before me, in this generation.
2 Minden tiszta baromból vegyél magadnak hetet-hetet, hímet és nőstényt, és a baromból, mely nem tiszta, kettőt, hímet és nőstényt.
Of all the clean beasts, shalt thou take to thee by sevens, a male and his female, —and, of the beasts that are not clean, shall be two a male and his female.
3 Az ég madarából is hetet-hetet, hímet és nőstényt, hogy életben tarts magot az egész föld színén.
Also of the bird of the heavens, by sevens, male and female, —to keep alive a seed on the face of all the earth.
4 Mert hét nap múlva esőt bocsátok én a földre, negyven nap és negyven éjjel és eltörlök minden lényt, melyet alkottam, a föld színéről.
For in seven days more, I, am sending rain on the earth, forty days and forty nights, —so will I wipe out all the living things which I have made, from off the face of the ground.
5 És tett Nóé mind aszerint, amint megparancsolta neki az Örökkévaló.
And Noah did, —according to all that Yahweh commanded him.
6 Nóé pedig hatszáz éves volt, midőn az özönvíz volt a földön.
Now, Noah, was six hundred years old, —when, the flood, came, even waters on the earth.
7 És bement Nóé, meg az ő fiai és az ő felesége, meg a fiainak feleségei vele együtt a bárkába az özönvíz elől.
So Noah entered, and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him into the ark, —from before the waters of the flood,
8 A tiszta baromból és a baromból, mely nem tiszta, a madárból és mindabból, ami mozog a földön,
Of the beasts that were clean, and of the beasts that were not clean, —and of the birds, and everything that creepeth on the ground,
9 kettő-kettő ment be Nóéhoz a bárkába, hím és nőstény, amint megparancsolta Isten Nóénak.
two and two, went they in unto Noah, into the ark male and female, —as God commanded Noah.
10 És történt hét nap múlva és az özönvíz volt a földön.
And it came to pass, in the seven days, —that the waters of the flood, came on the earth.
11 Hatszázadik évében Nóé életének, a második hónapban, a hónap tizenhetedik napján, ezen a napon felfakadtak minden forrásai a nagy mélységnek és az ég csatornái megnyíltak.
In the six hundredth year, the year of the life of Noah. in the second month on the seventeenth day of the month on this day, were burst open all the fountains of the great roaring deep, and the windows of the heavens, were set open.
12 És volt az eső a földön negyven nap és negyven éjjel.
(And it came to pass that the heavy rain was on the earth, —forty days and forty nights.)
13 Ugyanezen a napon ment be Nóé, meg Sém, Chom és Jefesz, Nóé fiai és Nóé felesége, meg az ő fiainak három felesége velük együtt, a bárkába.
On this selfsame day, entered Noah, and Shem and Ham and Japheth. Noah’s sons, —and Noah’s wife, and his sons’ three wives with them into the ark:
14 Ők és minden vad a maga neme szerint és minden barom a maga neme szerint és minden csúszó-mászó, mely mozog a földön a maga neme szerint és minden madár a maga neme szerint, minden madár, minden szárnyas.
they, and all the wild-beasts after their kind and all the tame-beasts after their kind, and all the creeping things that creep on the earth after their kind, —and all the birds after their kind, every bird of every wing.
15 Bement Nóéhoz a bárkába kettő-kettő minden testből, amelyben az élet lehelete van.
So they entered in unto Noah, into the ark, —two and two of all flesh, wherein was the spirit of life.
16 És amik bementek, hím és nőstény minden testből ment be, amint megparancsolta neki Isten; és bezárta az Örökkévaló mögötte (a bárkát).
And, they that entered, male and female of all flesh, entered, as God commanded him, —and Yahweh shut him in round about.
17 És volt az özönvíz negyven nap a földön; megsokasodtak a vizek és vitték a bárkát, hogy fölemelkedett a földről.
And it came to pass, that the flood was forty days on the earth, —and the waters increased and bare up the ark, and it was lifted high above the earth,
18 És erősbödtek a vizek és nagyon megsokasodtak a földön; és ment a bárka a víz színén.
And the waters prevailed and increased greatly, on the earth, —and the ark went its way on the face of the waters.
19 És a vizek igen nagyon erősbödtek a földön és elborították mind a magas hegyeket, melyek az egész ég alatt voltak.
Yea the waters, prevailed very greatly, on the earth, —so that all the high mountains became covered, that were under all the heavens:
20 Tizenöt könyöknyire (a hegyeken) felül erősbödtek a vizek és elborították a hegyeket.
fifteen cubits upwards, prevailed the waters, so that the mountains became covered.
21 És elveszett minden test, mely mozog a földön, madárból, baromból, vadból és féregből, mely csúszik-mászik a földön és minden ember.
And all flesh ceased to breathe that moved on the earth, of birds and of tame-beasts and of wild-beasts, and of all the swarming things that swarm on the earth, —and all mankind.
22 Mindaz, aminek orrában az élet lehelete volt, mindabból, ami a szárazon volt, meghalt.
All in whose nostrils was the breath of the spirit of life of all that were on the dry ground died.
23 És eltörölt (Isten) minden lényt, mely a föld színén volt, embertől baromig, csúszó-mászóig és az ég madaráig, úgy, hogy eltöröltettek a földről; csak Nóé maradt meg és ami vele volt a bárkában.
Thus was wiped out all that existed on the face of the ground, from man unto beast unto creeping thing, and unto the bird of the heavens, thus were they wiped out from the earth, —so that there was left—only Noah and they that were with him in the ark.
24 És erősbödtek a vizek a földön százötven napig.
Thus prevailed the waters on the earth, —a hundred and fifty days.
