1 Mózes 12
1 És mondta az Örökkévaló Ávromnak: Menj el a te országodból, a te szülőföldedről és a te atyádnak házából azon országba, melyet én neked mutatok.
And he said Yahweh to Abram go for yourself from land your and from kindred your and from [the] household of father your to the land which I will show you.
2 És nagy néppé teszlek téged, megáldalak s naggyá teszem nevedet, hogy áldássá légy.
So I may make you into a nation great and I will bless you and I will make great name your and you be a blessing.
3 És megáldom azokat, akik téged áldanak és aki téged átkoz, azt megátkozom; és megáldatnak általad a föld összes családjai.
So let me bless [those who] bless you and [one who] disdains you I will curse and they will be blessed by you all [the] clans of the earth.
4 És elment Ávrom, amint szólt hozzá az Örökkévaló és vele ment Lót; Ávrom pedig hetvenöt éves volt, midőn elment Chóronból.
And he went Abram just as he had said to him Yahweh and he went with him Lot and Abram [was] a son of five years and seventy year[s] when came out he from Haran.
5 És vette Ávrom Szórájt, az ő feleségét és Lótot, az ő testvérfiát, meg minden szerzeményüket, melyet szereztek és a személyzetet, melyre szert tettek Chóronban és elindultak, hogy menjenek Kánaán országába és elérkeztek Kánaán országába.
And he took Abram Sarai wife his and Lot [the] son of brother his and all possession[s] their which they had accumulated and the person[s] whom they had acquired in Haran and they went out to go [the] land of towards Canaan and they came [the] land of towards Canaan.
6 És átvonult Ávrom az országon egész Sechem helységéig, Móre tölgyéig; és a Kánaáni akkor az országban volt.
And he passed Abram in the land to [the] place of Shechem to [the] great tree of Moreh and the Canaanite[s] then [was] in the land.
7 És megjelent az Örökkévaló Ávromnak és mondta: Magzatodnak fogom adni ezt az országot. És épített ott oltárt az Örökkévalónak, aki neki megjelent.
And he appeared Yahweh to Abram and he said to offspring your I will give the land this and he built there an altar to Yahweh who had appeared to him.
8 Onnan pedig tovament a hegyre, Bész-Éltől keletre és felütötte sátorát; Bész-Él volt nyugatról, Áj meg keletről. És épített ott oltárt az Örökkévalónak és hívta az Örökkévaló nevét.
And he moved on from there the hill country towards from [the] east of Beth-el and he pitched (tent his *Q(K)*) Beth-el [was] from [the] west and Ai [was] from [the] east and he built there an altar to Yahweh and he called on [the] name of Yahweh.
9 És elvonult Ávrom, folyton délnek vonulva.
And he journeyed Abram going and journeying the south towards.
10 És éhség volt az országban; akkor lement Ávrom Egyiptomba, hogy ott tartózkodjék, mert nyomasztó volt az éhség az országban.
And it was a famine in the land and he went down Abram Egypt towards to sojourn there for [was] heavy the famine in the land.
11 És történt, midőn közel volt, hogy bemenjen Egyiptomba, mondta Szórájnak, az ő feleségének: Íme, én tudom, hogy szép ábrázatú asszony vagy te.
And it was just as he drew near to enter Egypt and he said to Sarai wife his here! please I know that [are] a woman beautiful of appearance you.
12 És lesz, ha majd látnak téged az egyiptomiak azt mondják: felesége az; és engem megölnek, téged pedig életben hagynak.
And it will be that they will see you the Egyptians and they will say [is] wife his this and they will kill me and you they will let live.
13 Mondd, kérlek, hogy nővérem vagy; hogy jó dogom legyen miattad és életben maradjon lelkem érte.
Say please [are] sister my you so that it may go well for me for sake of you and it will live life my on account of you.
14 És történt, midőn elérkezett Ávrom Egyiptomba, láttak az egyiptomiak az asszonyt, hogy igen szép.
And it was when entered Abram Egypt and they saw the Egyptians the woman that [was] beautiful she very.
15 És megláttak Fáraó nagyjai és eldicsérték őt Fáraónak; és elvitték az asszonyt Fáraó házába.
And they saw her [the] officials of Pharaoh and they praised her to Pharaoh and she was taken the woman [the] house of Pharaoh.
16 Ávrommal pedig jót tett miatta és voltak juhai, marhái, szamarai; szolgái, szolgálói, nőstényszamarai és tevéi.
And to Abram he did good for sake of her and it be[longed] to him sheep and cattle and [male] donkeys and [male] servants and female servants and female donkeys and camels.
17 De az Örökkévaló sújtotta Fáraót nagy csapásokkal, és az ő házát, Szóráj, Ávrom felesége miatt.
And he struck Yahweh - Pharaoh plagues great and house his on [the] matter of Sarai [the] wife of Abram.
18 És hivatta Fáraó Ávromot és mondta: Mit tettél velem? Miért nem adtad tudtomra, hogy feleséged ő?
And he summoned Pharaoh Abram and he said what? this have you done to me why? not did you tell to me that [was] wife your she.
19 Miért mondtad: nővérem ő és én feleségül vettem magamnak; most pedig, ímhol a te feleséged, vedd és menj!
Why? did you say [is] sister my she and I took her for myself to a wife and now here! wife your take [her] and go.
20 És rendelt Fáraó mellé embereket és elkísérték őt, a: ő feleségét és mindenét, amije volt.
And he commanded on him Pharaoh men and they sent away him and wife his and all that [belonged] to him.
