Ezékiel 4
1 És te ember fia, végy magadnak egy téglát, tedd azt magad elé és véss reá várost: Jeruzsálemet.
Thou also, son of man, take thee a tile, and lay it before thee, and portray upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
2 És készíts ellene ostromot, építs ellene ostromtornyokat, hányj föl ellene sánczot, készíts ellene táborokat és helyezz el ellene kosokat köröskörül.
And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mound against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it on every side.
3 És te végy magadnak vasserpenyőt, tedd azt vasfal gyanánt közéd és a város közé; és irányítsd feléje arczodat, hogy ostrom alatt legyen és ostromold azt: jel az Izraél háza számára
Moreover take thou to thee an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between thee and the city: and set thy face against it, and it shall be besieged, and thou shalt lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4 Te pedig feküdj bal oldalodra és tedd rá Izraél házának bűnét; azon napok száma szerint, a meddig rajta fekszel, viselni fogod bűnüket.
Lie thou also upon thy left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon it thou shalt bear their iniquity.
5 Én ugyanis adtam neked bűnük éveit napok száma szerint, háromszázkilencven napot, hogy viseljed Izraél házának bűnét.
For I have laid upon thee the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shalt thou bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
6 Ha ezeket befejezted, másodszor feküdj, jobb oldalodra, és viseld Jehúda házának bűnét; negyven napnak, egy-egy napot egy-egy évre, adtam azt neked.
And when thou hast accomplished them, lie again on thy right side, and thou shalt bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed thee each day for a year.
7 És Jeruzsálem ostroma, felé irányítsd arczodat, karod pedig feltűrve legyen, és prófétálj róla.
Therefore thou shalt set thy face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and thy arm shall be uncovered, and thou shalt prophesy against it.
8 És íme én köteleket tettem reád, hogy ne fordulj oldalodról oldalodra, míg be nem fejezted az ostromod napjait.
And, behold, I will lay cords upon thee, and thou shalt not turn thee from one side to another, till thou hast ended the days of thy siege.
9 Te pedig végy magadnak búzát, árpát, babot, lencsét, kölest és tönkölyt, tedd azokat azon egy edénybe és készítsd el számodra azokat kenyérnek, azon napok száma szerint, ameddig oldalodon fekszel, háromszázkilencven napon át fogod enni.
Take thou also to thee wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentiles, and millet, and spelt, and put them in one vessel, and make thee bread of them, according to the number of the days that thou shalt lie upon thy side, three hundred and ninety days shalt thou eat of it.
10 Ételed pedig, ahogy azt eszed, súly szerint legyen, húsz sékel egy napra, időtől időig fogod enni.
And thy food which thou shalt eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shalt thou eat it.
11 És vizet mérték szerint igyál, egy hatod hínt időtől időig fogod inni.
Thou shalt drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shalt thou drink.
12 Árpalepényként fogod enni, azt pedig emberganéj sarán süsd meg szemük láttára.
And thou shalt eat it as barley cakes, and thou shalt bake it with dung that cometh out of man, in their sight.
13 És szólt az Örökkévaló: Így fogják enni Izrael fiai kenyerüket tisztátalanul a nemzetek között, ahová őket eltaszítom.
And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.
14 Erre mondtam: Jaj, Uram, Örökkévaló, íme a lelkem nincsen megtisztátalanítva, s elhullott és széttépett állatot nem ettem ifjúkoromtól fogva egész mostanáig és undokság húsa nem jutott az én számba
Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul hath not been polluted: for from my youth even till now have I not eaten of that which dieth of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither hath abominable flesh come into my mouth.
15 És szólt hozzám: Lásd, megengedtem neked a marhaganéjt ember sara helyett, hogy azon készítsd el kenyeredet.
Then he said to me, Lo, I have given thee cow’s dung for man’s dung, and thou shalt prepare thy bread with them.
16 És szólt hozzám: Ember fia, íme én eltöröm a kenyér pálcáját Jeruzsálemben és majd esznek kenyeret súly szerint és aggódással, vizet pedig mérték szerint és álmélkodással fognak inni;
Moreover he said to me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and in horror:
17 hogy hiányuk legyen kenyérben és vízben, és eliszonyodnak egyik, a másikán és elsínylenek bűnükben.
That they may lack bread and water, and be appalled one with another, and pine away for their iniquity.
