2 Krónika 22
1 És királlyá tették helyette Jeruzsálem lakói Achazjáhút, legkisebbik fiát, mert mind az idősebbeket megölte az a csapat, amely az arabokkal a táborba jött; és király lett Achazjáhú, Jehórám Jehúda királyának fia.

2 Negyvenkét éves volt Achazjáhú, midőn király lett s egy évig uralkodott Jeruzsálemben; anyjának neve pedig Ataljáhú, Omri leánya.

3 Ő is Acháb házának útjain járt, mert anyja volt tanácsadója a gonosztevésben.

4 És tette azt, ami rossz az Örökkévaló szemeiben, úgy mint Acháb háza, mert ők voltak tanácsadói atyjának halála után, az ő romlására.

5 Járt is az ő tanácsuk szerint; s elment háborúba Jehórámmal, Acháb fiával, Izrael királyával Chazáél, Arám királya ellen Rámót-Gileádba; de megverték az Arámbeliek Jórámot.

6 És visszament, hogy gyógyíttassa magát Jizreélben, mert sebei voltak, melyeket ütöttek rajta Rámában, midőn harcolt Chazáél, Arám királya ellen; Azarjáhú, Jehórám fia pedig, Jehúda királya, lement, hogy meglátogassa Jehórámot, Acháb fiát, Jizreélben, mert beteg volt.
and to return: return to/for to heal in/on/with Jezreel for [the] wound which to smite him in/on/with Ramah in/on/with to fight he with Hazael king Syria and Ahaziah son: child Jehoram king Judah to go down to/for to see: see [obj] Jehoram son: child Ahab in/on/with Jezreel for be weak: ill he/she/it
7 És Istentől volt Achazjáhú vesztére, hogy elment Jórámhoz, s midőn odaért, kiment Jehórámmal Jéhú, Nimsi fia ellen, akit az Örökkévaló fölkent volt, hogy kiirtsa Acháb házát.
and from God to be ruin Ahaziah to/for to come (in): come to(wards) Joram and in/on/with to come (in): come he to come out: come with Joram to(wards) Jehu son: child Nimshi which to anoint him LORD to/for to cut: eliminate [obj] house: household Ahab
8 És volt, midőn Jéhú ítéletet tartott Acháb háza fölött, találta Jehúda nagyjait s Achazjáhú testvéreinek fiait, akik szolgálatot végeztek Achazjáhúnál, és megölte őket.
and to be like/as to judge Jehu with house: household Ahab and to find [obj] ruler Judah and son: child brother: male-sibling Ahaziah to minister to/for Ahaziah and to kill them
9 És kereste Achazjáhút s elfogták őt – ő ugyanis elrejtőzött Sómrónban – s elvitték őt Jéhúhoz s megölték őt s eltemették, mert azt mondták: Jehósáfát fia ő, aki kereste az Örökkévalót egész szívével. És nem volt Achazjáhú házából senki, aki erővel bírt volna az uralomra.
and to seek [obj] Ahaziah and to capture him and he/she/it to hide in/on/with Samaria and to come (in): bring him to(wards) Jehu and to die him and to bury him for to say son: descendant/people Jehoshaphat he/she/it which to seek [obj] LORD in/on/with all heart his and nothing to/for house: household Ahaziah to/for to restrain strength to/for kingdom
10 Ataljáhú pedig, Achazjáhú anyja látta, hogy meghalt a fia, akkor felkelt s elpusztította Jehúda házának minden az uralomra való magzatját.
and Athaliah mother Ahaziah to see: see for to die son: child her and to arise: rise and to speak: subdue [obj] all seed: children [the] kingdom to/for house: household Judah
11 De Jehósabeát, a király leánya vette Jóást, Achazjáhú fiát, s ellopta a megölésre szánt királyfiak közül, s betette őt meg dajkáját az ágyak termébe; és elrejtette őt Jehósabeát, Jehórám király leánya, Jehójádá papnak felesége, mert ő volt Achazjáhúnak nővére, Ataljáhú elől, úgy hogy nem ölhette őt meg.

12 És volt velük elrejtőzve az Istennek házában hat évig, míg Ataljáhú uralkodott az ország fölött.
and to be with them in/on/with house: temple [the] God to hide six year and Athaliah to reign upon [the] land: country/planet
