1 Krónika 25

1 És elkülönítette Dávid meg a sereg nagyjai a szolgálatra Aszáf, Hémán és Jedútún fiai közül azokat, kik prófétai illettel játszottak hárfákon, lantokon és cimbalmokon. És volt a számuk, azoké, kik szolgálatuk szerint a munkát végezték:

Moreover, David and the captains of the army set apart for the service certain of the sons of Asaph, of Heman, and of Jeduthun, who were to prophesy with harps, with stringed instruments, and with cymbals. The number of those who did the work according to their service was:

2 Ászáf fiai közül Zakkúr, József, Netanja és Aszaréla, Ászáf fiai; Ászáf oldalánál, aki prófétai ihlettel működött a király oldalánál.

of the sons of Asaph: Zaccur, Joseph, Nethaniah, and Asharelah. The sons of Asaph were under the hand of Asaph, who prophesied at the order of the king.

3 Jedútún közül, Jedútún fiai: Gedaljáhú, Cerí, Jesájáhú, Chasabjáhú, Mattitjáhú, hatan atyjuk Jedútún oldalánál a hárfán, aki prófétai ihlettel vezette az Örökkévalónak szóló hálamondást és dicsérő dalt.

Of Jeduthun, the sons of Jeduthun: Gedaliah, Zeri, Jeshaiah, Shimei, Hashabiah, and Mattithiah, six, under the hands of their father Jeduthun, who prophesied in giving thanks and praising the LORD with the harp.

4 Hémán közül, Hémán fiai: Bukkijáhú, Mattanjáhú, Uzzíél, Sebúél, Jerimót, Chananja, Chanáni, Eliáta, Giddalti, Rómamti-Ézer, Josbekása, Mallóti, Hótír, Máchaziót.

Of Heman, the sons of Heman: Bukkiah, Mattaniah, Uzziel, Shebuel, Jerimoth, Hananiah, Hanani, Eliathah, Giddalti, Romamti-Ezer, Joshbekashah, Mallothi, Hothir, and Mahazioth.

5 Mindezek fiai voltak Hémánnak, ki a király látója volt az Isten szavaival fölemelve a szarvat. És adott Isten Hémánnak tizennégy fiat és három leányt.

All these were the sons of Heman the king’s seer in the words of God, to lift up the horn. God gave to Heman fourteen sons and three daughters.

6 Mindezek atyjuk oldalánál voltak az énekben az Örökkévaló házában, cimbalmok, hárfák és citerák mellett, az Isten házának szolgálatára a király oldalánál; Ászáf, Jedútún és Hémán.

All these were under the hands of their father for song in the LORD’s house, with cymbals, stringed instruments, and harps, for the service of God’s house: Asaph, Jeduthun, and Heman being under the order of the king.

7 És volt számuk testvéreikkel együtt, akik tanítva voltak az énekre az Örökkévaló számára, valamennyi mester: kétszáznyolcvannyolc.

The number of them, with their brothers who were instructed in singing to the LORD, even all who were skilful, was two hundred and eighty-eight.

8 És vetettek sorsot mindegyik őrizetre, egyformán kicsinye úgy, mint nagyja, mester a tanítvánnyal együtt.

They cast lots for their offices, all alike, the small as well as the great, the teacher as well as the student.

9 És kijött az első sors Ászáf részére, Józsefre; Gedaljáhú, a második, ő és testvérei és fiai, tizenketten.

Now the first lot came out for Asaph to Joseph; the second to Gedaliah, he and his brothers and sons were twelve;

10 A harmadik: Zakkúr, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the third to Zaccur, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

11 A negyedik: Jicrire, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten:

the fourth to Izri, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

12 Az ötödik: Netanjáhú, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the fifth to Nethaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

13 A hatodik: Bukkijáhú, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the sixth to Bukkiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

14 A hetedik: Jeszaréla, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the seventh to Jesharelah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

15 A nyolcadik: Jesajáhú, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the eighth to Jeshaiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

16 A kilencedik: Mattanjáhú, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the ninth to Mattaniah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

17 A tizedik: Simeí, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the tenth to Shimei, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

18 A tizenegyedik: Azarél, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the eleventh to Azarel, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

19 A tizenkettedik: Chasabjára, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

the twelfth to Hashabiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

20 A tizenharmadik, Súbáél; fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the thirteenth, Shubael, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

21 A tizennegyedik, Mattitjáhu, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the fourteenth, Mattithiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

22 A tizenötödik: Jerémótra, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the fifteenth to Jeremoth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

23 A tizenhatodik: Chananjáhúra, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the sixteenth to Hananiah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

24 A tizenhetedik: Josbekására, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the seventeenth to Joshbekashah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

25 A tizennyolcadik; Chanánira, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the eighteenth to Hanani, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

26 A tizenkilencedik: Mallótira, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the nineteenth to Mallothi, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

27 A húszadik; Elijátára, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the twentieth to Eliathah, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

28 A huszonegyedik: Hótírra, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the twenty-first to Hothir, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

29 A huszonkettedik: Giddaltira, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the twenty-second to Giddalti, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

30 A huszonharmadik Machazíótra, fiai és testvérei, tizenketten.

for the twenty-third to Mahazioth, his sons and his brothers, twelve;

31 A huszonnegyedik: Rómamti-Ézerre, fiai és testvérei tizenketten.

for the twenty-fourth to Romamti-Ezer, his sons and his brothers, twelve.
