रोमियों 10
Brethren, indeed my heart's desire and prayer to God for them, is, that they may be saved.
2 २ क्योंकि मैं उनकी गवाही देता हूँ, कि उनको परमेश्वर के लिये धुन रहती है, परन्तु बुद्धिमानी के साथ नहीं।
For I testify to God for them, that they have a zeal for God; but not according to knowledge;
3 ३ क्योंकि वे परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता से अनजान होकर, अपनी धार्मिकता स्थापित करने का यत्न करके, परमेश्वर की धार्मिकता के अधीन न हुए।
for being ignorant of God's justification, and seeking to establish their own, they have not submitted to the justification which is of God.
For Christ is the end of the law for justification to every believer.
5 ५ क्योंकि मूसा व्यवस्था से प्राप्त धार्मिकता के विषय में यह लिखता है: “जो व्यक्ति उनका पालन करता है, वह उनसे जीवित रहेगा।”
Now Moses describes the justification which is by the law, that "the man who does these things shall live by them."
6 ६ परन्तु जो धार्मिकता विश्वास से है, वह यह कहती है, “तू अपने मन में यह न कहना कि स्वर्ग पर कौन चढ़ेगा?” (अर्थात् मसीह को उतार लाने के लिये),
But the justification which is by faith speaks thus: Say not in your heart, Who shall ascend into heaven? that is, to bring Christ down.
7 ७ या “अधोलोक में कौन उतरेगा?” (अर्थात् मसीह को मरे हुओं में से जिलाकर ऊपर लाने के लिये!) (Abyssos g12)
Or, Who shall descend into the abyss? that is, to bring up Christ from the dead. (Abyssos g12)
8 ८ परन्तु क्या कहती है? यह, कि “वचन तेरे निकट है, तेरे मुँह में और तेरे मन में है,” यह वही विश्वास का वचन है, जो हम प्रचार करते हैं।
But what does it say? (The word is near you--in your mouth, and in your heart; that is, the word of faith which we preach: )
9 ९ कि यदि तू अपने मुँह से यीशु को प्रभु जानकर अंगीकार करे और अपने मन से विश्वास करे, कि परमेश्वर ने उसे मरे हुओं में से जिलाया, तो तू निश्चय उद्धार पाएगा।
that if you will openly confess with your mouth, that Jesus is Lord, and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.
10 १० क्योंकि धार्मिकता के लिये मन से विश्वास किया जाता है, और उद्धार के लिये मुँह से अंगीकार किया जाता है।
(For with your heart man believes to justification: and with your mouth confession is made to salvation.)
For the scripture says, "No one, who believes on him, shall be ashamed."
12 १२ यहूदियों और यूनानियों में कुछ भेद नहीं, इसलिए कि वह सब का प्रभु है; और अपने सब नाम लेनेवालों के लिये उदार है।
Indeed, there is no distinction either of Jew or of Greek: for the same Lord of all, is right toward all who call upon him.
"For whoever will call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
14 १४ फिर जिस पर उन्होंने विश्वास नहीं किया, वे उसका नाम क्यों लें? और जिसकी नहीं सुनी उस पर क्यों विश्वास करें? और प्रचारक बिना क्यों सुनें?
But how shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him, of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear, without a proclaimer?
15 १५ और यदि भेजे न जाएँ, तो क्यों प्रचार करें? जैसा लिखा है, “उनके पाँव क्या ही सुहावने हैं, जो अच्छी बातों का सुसमाचार सुनाते हैं!”
and how shall proclaim, unless they be sent? as it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of them, who bring the joyful message of peace--of them, who bring the joyful news of good things!"
16 १६ परन्तु सब ने उस सुसमाचार पर कान न लगाया। यशायाह कहता है, “हे प्रभु, किसने हमारे समाचार पर विश्वास किया है?”
Nevertheless, all have not obeyed the gospel; for Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our report?"
(So, then, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.)
18 १८ परन्तु मैं कहता हूँ, “क्या उन्होंने नहीं सुना?” सुना तो सही क्योंकि लिखा है, “उनके स्वर सारी पृथ्वी पर, और उनके वचन जगत के छोर तक पहुँच गए हैं।”
But I ask, have they not heard? Yes, indeed, "Their sound has gone out to all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world."
19 १९ फिर मैं कहता हूँ। क्या इस्राएली नहीं जानते थे? पहले तो मूसा कहता है, “मैं उनके द्वारा जो जाति नहीं, तुम्हारे मन में जलन उपजाऊँगा, मैं एक मूर्ख जाति के द्वारा तुम्हें रिस दिलाऊँगा।”
I ask again, has not Israel known? First, Moses says, "I will provoke you to jealousy by that, which is no nation; --by a foolish nation I will enrage you."
20 २० फिर यशायाह बड़े साहस के साथ कहता है, “जो मुझे नहीं ढूँढ़ते थे, उन्होंने मुझे पा लिया; और जो मुझे पूछते भी न थे, उन पर मैं प्रगट हो गया।”
Besides, Isaiah is very bold when he says, "I am found by them, who did not seek me: I am shown to them, who did not ask for me."
21 २१ परन्तु इस्राएल के विषय में वह यह कहता है “मैं सारे दिन अपने हाथ एक आज्ञा न माननेवाली और विवाद करनेवाली प्रजा की ओर पसारे रहा।”
But concerning Israel he says, "All the day long, have I stretched forth my hand to a disobedient and rebelling people."
