भजन संहिता 98

1 १ भजन यहोवा के लिये एक नया गीत गाओ, क्योंकि उसने आश्‍चर्यकर्म किए हैं! उसके दाहिने हाथ और पवित्र भुजा ने उसके लिये उद्धार किया है!

“A psalm.” Oh sing unto the Lord a new song; for he hath done wonderful things: his right hand and his holy arm have gotten him the victory.

2 २ यहोवा ने अपना किया हुआ उद्धार प्रकाशित किया, उसने अन्यजातियों की दृष्टि में अपना धर्म प्रगट किया है।

The Lord hath made known his salvation: before the eyes of the nations hath he revealed his righteousness.

3 ३ उसने इस्राएल के घराने पर की अपनी करुणा और सच्चाई की सुधि ली, और पृथ्वी के सब दूर-दूर देशों ने हमारे परमेश्वर का किया हुआ उद्धार देखा है।

He hath remembered his kindness and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

4 ४ हे सारी पृथ्वी के लोगों, यहोवा का जयजयकार करो; उत्साहपूर्वक जयजयकार करो, और भजन गाओ!

Shout joyfully unto the Lord, all the lands: break forth, and rejoice, and sing praises.

5 ५ वीणा बजाकर यहोवा का भजन गाओ, वीणा बजाकर भजन का स्वर सुनाओ।

Sing praises unto the Lord with the harp, —with the harp, and the voice of psalmody.

6 ६ तुरहियां और नरसिंगे फूँक फूँककर यहोवा राजा का जयजयकार करो।

With trumpets and the sound of cornet shout joyfully before the King, the Lord.

7 ७ समुद्र और उसमें की सब वस्तुएँ गरज उठें; जगत और उसके निवासी महाशब्द करें!

Let the sea roar, with all that filleth it; the world, with those that dwell therein.

8 ८ नदियाँ तालियाँ बजाएँ; पहाड़ मिलकर जयजयकार करें।

Let the rivers clap their hands; let the mountains be joyful together,

9 ९ यह यहोवा के सामने हो, क्योंकि वह पृथ्वी का न्याय करने को आनेवाला है। वह धर्म से जगत का, और सच्चाई से देश-देश के लोगों का न्याय करेगा।

Before the Lord; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and people with equity.
