भजन संहिता 83

1 १ आसाप का भजन हे परमेश्वर मौन न रह; हे परमेश्वर चुप न रह, और न शान्त रह!

The song of the salm of Asaph. God, who schal be lijk thee? God, be thou not stille, nether be thou peesid.

2 २ क्योंकि देख तेरे शत्रु धूम मचा रहे हैं; और तेरे बैरियों ने सिर उठाया है।

For lo! thin enemyes sowneden; and thei that haten thee reisiden the heed.

3 ३ वे चतुराई से तेरी प्रजा की हानि की सम्मति करते, और तेरे रक्षित लोगों के विरुद्ध युक्तियाँ निकालते हैं।

Thei maden a wickid counsel on thi puple; and thei thouyten ayens thi seyntis.

4 ४ उन्होंने कहा, “आओ, हम उनका ऐसा नाश करें कि राज्य भी मिट जाए; और इस्राएल का नाम आगे को स्मरण न रहे।”

Thei seiden, Come ye, and leese we hem fro the folk; and the name of Israel be no more hadde in mynde.

5 ५ उन्होंने एक मन होकर युक्ति निकाली है, और तेरे ही विरुद्ध वाचा बाँधी है।

For thei thouyten with oon acord;

6 ६ ये तो एदोम के तम्बूवाले और इश्माएली, मोआबी और हग्री,

the tabernaclis of Ydumeys, and men of Ismael disposiden a testament togidere ayens thee. Moab, and Agarenus, Jebal, and Amon, and Amalech;

7 ७ गबाली, अम्मोनी, अमालेकी, और सोर समेत पलिश्ती हैं।

8 ८ इनके संग अश्शूरी भी मिल गए हैं; उनसे भी लूतवंशियों को सहारा मिला है। (सेला)

For Assur cometh with hem; thei ben maad in to help to the sones of Loth.

9 ९ इनसे ऐसा कर जैसा मिद्यानियों से, और कीशोन नाले में सीसरा और याबीन से किया था,

Make thou to hem as to Madian, and Sisara; as to Jabyn in the stronde of Sison.

10 १० वे एनदोर में नाश हुए, और भूमि के लिये खाद बन गए।

Thei perischiden in Endor; thei weren maad as a toord of erthe.

11 ११ इनके रईसों को ओरेब और जेब सरीखे, और इनके सब प्रधानों को जेबह और सल्मुन्ना के समान कर दे,

Putte thou the prynces of hem as Oreb and Zeb; and Zebee and Salmana. Alle the princis of hem, that seiden;

12 १२ जिन्होंने कहा था, “हम परमेश्वर की चराइयों के अधिकारी आप ही हो जाएँ।”

Holde we bi eritage the seyntuarie of God.

13 १३ हे मेरे परमेश्वर इनको बवंडर की धूलि, या पवन से उड़ाए हुए भूसे के समान कर दे।

My God, putte thou hem as a whele; and as stobil bifor the face of the wynde.

14 १४ उस आग के समान जो वन को भस्म करती है, और उस लौ के समान जो पहाड़ों को जला देती है,

As fier that brenneth a wode; and as flawme brynnynge hillis.

15 १५ तू इन्हें अपनी आँधी से भगा दे, और अपने बवंडर से घबरा दे!

So thou schalt pursue hem in thi tempeste; and thou schalt disturble hem in thin ire.

16 १६ इनके मुँह को अति लज्जित कर, कि हे यहोवा ये तेरे नाम को ढूँढ़ें।

Lord, fille thou the faces of hem with schenschipe; and thei schulen seke thi name.

17 १७ ये सदा के लिये लज्जित और घबराए रहें, इनके मुँह काले हों, और इनका नाश हो जाए,

Be thei aschamed, and be thei disturblid in to world of world; and be thei schent and perische thei.

18 १८ जिससे ये जानें कि केवल तू जिसका नाम यहोवा है, सारी पृथ्वी के ऊपर परमप्रधान है।

And knowe thei, that the Lord is name to thee; thou aloone art the hiyeste in ech lond.
