भजन संहिता 64

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन हे परमेश्वर, जब मैं तेरी दुहाई दूँ, तब मेरी सुन; शत्रु के उपजाए हुए भय के समय मेरे प्राण की रक्षा कर।

To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David. Hear, O God, my voice in my plaint; preserve my life from fear of the enemy:

2 २ कुकर्मियों की गोष्ठी से, और अनर्थकारियों के हुल्लड़ से मेरी आड़ हो।

Hide me from the secret counsel of evil-doers, from the tumultuous crowd of the workers of iniquity,

3 ३ उन्होंने अपनी जीभ को तलवार के समान तेज किया है, और अपने कड़वे वचनों के तीरों को चढ़ाया है;

Who have sharpened their tongue like a sword, [and] have aimed their arrow, a bitter word;

4 ४ ताकि छिपकर खरे मनुष्य को मारें; वे निडर होकर उसको अचानक मारते भी हैं।

That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.

5 ५ वे बुरे काम करने को हियाव बाँधते हैं; वे फंदे लगाने के विषय बातचीत करते हैं; और कहते हैं, “हमको कौन देखेगा?”

They encourage themselves in an evil matter, they concert to hide snares; they say, Who will see them?

6 ६ वे कुटिलता की युक्ति निकालते हैं; और कहते हैं, “हमने पक्की युक्ति खोजकर निकाली है।” क्योंकि मनुष्य के मन और हृदय के विचार गहरे है।

They devise iniquities: We have it ready, the plan is diligently sought out. And each one's inward [thought] and heart is deep.

7 ७ परन्तु परमेश्वर उन पर तीर चलाएगा; वे अचानक घायल हो जाएँगे।

But God will shoot an arrow at them: suddenly are they wounded;

8 ८ वे अपने ही वचनों के कारण ठोकर खाकर गिर पड़ेंगे; जितने उन पर दृष्टि करेंगे वे सब अपने-अपने सिर हिलाएँगे

By their own tongue they are made to fall over one another: all that see them shall flee away.

9 ९ तब सारे लोग डर जाएँगे; और परमेश्वर के कामों का बखान करेंगे, और उसके कार्यक्रम को भली भाँति समझेंगे।

And all men shall fear, and shall declare God's doing; and they shall wisely consider his work.

10 १० धर्मी तो यहोवा के कारण आनन्दित होकर उसका शरणागत होगा, और सब सीधे मनवाले बड़ाई करेंगे।

The righteous shall rejoice in Jehovah, and trust in him; and all the upright in heart shall glory.
