भजन संहिता 61

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये तारवाले बाजे के साथ दाऊद का भजन हे परमेश्वर, मेरा चिल्लाना सुन, मेरी प्रार्थना की ओर ध्यान दे।

For the end, among the Hymns of David. O God, listen to my petition; attend to my prayer.

2 २ मूर्छा खाते समय मैं पृथ्वी की छोर से भी तुझे पुकारूँगा, जो चट्टान मेरे लिये ऊँची है, उस पर मुझ को ले चल;

From the ends of the earth have I cried to you, when my heart was in trouble: you lifted me up on a rock you did guide me:

3 ३ क्योंकि तू मेरा शरणस्थान है, और शत्रु से बचने के लिये ऊँचा गढ़ है।

because you were my hope, a tower of strength from the face of the enemy.

4 ४ मैं तेरे तम्बू में युगानुयुग बना रहूँगा। मैं तेरे पंखों की ओट में शरण लिए रहूँगा। (सेला)

I will dwell in your tabernacle for ever; I will shelter myself under the shadow of your wings. (Pause)

5 ५ क्योंकि हे परमेश्वर, तूने मेरी मन्नतें सुनीं, जो तेरे नाम के डरवैये हैं, उनका सा भाग तूने मुझे दिया है।

For you, o God, have heard my prayers; you have given an inheritance to them that fear your name.

6 ६ तू राजा की आयु को बहुत बढ़ाएगा; उसके वर्ष पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी के बराबर होंगे।

You shall add days to the days of the king; [you shall lengthen] his years to all generations.

7 ७ वह परमेश्वर के सम्मुख सदा बना रहेगा; तू अपनी करुणा और सच्चाई को उसकी रक्षा के लिये ठहरा रख।

He shall endure for ever before God: which of them will seek out his mercy and truth?

8 ८ इस प्रकार मैं सर्वदा तेरे नाम का भजन गा गाकर अपनी मन्नतें हर दिन पूरी किया करूँगा।

So will I sing to your name for ever and ever, that I may daily perform my vows.
