भजन संहिता 60

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का मिक्ताम शूशनेदूत राग में। शिक्षादायक। जब वह अरम्नहरैम और अरमसोबा से लड़ता था। और योआब ने लौटकर नमक की तराई में एदोमियों में से बारह हजार पुरुष मार लिये हे परमेश्वर, तूने हमको त्याग दिया, और हमको तोड़ डाला है; तू क्रोधित हुआ; फिर हमको ज्यों का त्यों कर दे।

2 २ तूने भूमि को कँपाया और फाड़ डाला है; उसके दरारों को भर दे, क्योंकि वह डगमगा रही है।

You have sent earthquakes on our land and split it apart. Now heal the cracks, for the land is still having tremors.

3 ३ तूने अपनी प्रजा को कठिन समय दिखाया; तूने हमें लड़खड़ा देनेवाला दाखमधु पिलाया है।

You have been very hard on your people; you gave us wine that made us stagger around.

4 ४ तूने अपने डरवैयों को झण्डा दिया है, कि वह सच्चाई के कारण फहराया जाए। (सेला)

But you have given those who respect you the banner of truth to unfurl and rally around. (Selah)

5 ५ तू अपने दाहिने हाथ से बचा, और हमारी सुन ले कि तेरे प्रिय छुड़ाए जाएँ।

Rescue those you love! Answer us, and save us by your power!

6 ६ परमेश्वर पवित्रता के साथ बोला है, “मैं प्रफुल्लित होऊँगा; मैं शेकेम को बाँट लूँगा, और सुक्कोत की तराई को नपवाऊँगा।

God has spoken from his Temple: “Triumphantly I divide up Shechem, and portion out the Valley of Succoth.

7 ७ गिलाद मेरा है; मनश्शे भी मेरा है; और एप्रैम मेरे सिर का टोप, यहूदा मेरा राजदण्ड है।

Both Gilead and Manasseh belong to me. Ephraim is my helmet, and Judah is my scepter.

8 ८ मोआब मेरे धोने का पात्र है; मैं एदोम पर अपना जूता फेंकूँगा; हे पलिश्तीन, मेरे ही कारण जयजयकार कर।”

I will treat Moab as my washbasin; I will place my sandal on Edom; I will shout in triumph over Philistia.”

9 ९ मुझे गढ़वाले नगर में कौन पहुँचाएगा? एदोम तक मेरी अगुआई किसने की है?

Who will bring me into the fortified city? Who will lead me into Edom?

10 १० हे परमेश्वर, क्या तूने हमको त्याग नहीं दिया? हे परमेश्वर, तू हमारी सेना के साथ नहीं जाता।

Have you rejected us, God? Won't you lead our armies?

11 ११ शत्रु के विरुद्ध हमारी सहायता कर, क्योंकि मनुष्य की सहायता व्यर्थ है।

Please give us help against our enemies, for human help is worthless.

12 १२ परमेश्वर की सहायता से हम वीरता दिखाएँगे, क्योंकि हमारे शत्रुओं को वही रौंदेगा।

Our strength is in God, and he will crush our enemies.
