भजन संहिता 41

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन क्या ही धन्य है वह, जो कंगाल की सुधि रखता है! विपत्ति के दिन यहोवा उसको बचाएगा।

For the end, a Psalm of David. Blessed [is the man] who thinks, on the poor and needy: the Lord shall deliver him in an evil day.

2 २ यहोवा उसकी रक्षा करके उसको जीवित रखेगा, और वह पृथ्वी पर धन्य होगा। तू उसको शत्रुओं की इच्छा पर न छोड़।

May the Lord preserve him and keep him alive, and bless him on the earth, and not deliver him into the hands of his enemy.

3 ३ जब वह व्याधि के मारे शय्या पर पड़ा हो, तब यहोवा उसे सम्भालेगा; तू रोग में उसके पूरे बिछौने को उलटकर ठीक करेगा।

May the Lord help him upon the bed of his pain; you have made all his bed in his sickness.

4 ४ मैंने कहा, “हे यहोवा, मुझ पर दया कर; मुझ को चंगा कर, क्योंकि मैंने तो तेरे विरुद्ध पाप किया है!”

I said, O Lord, have mercy upon me; heal my soul; for I have sinned against you.

5 ५ मेरे शत्रु यह कहकर मेरी बुराई करते हैं “वह कब मरेगा, और उसका नाम कब मिटेगा?”

Mine enemies have spoken evil against me, [saying], When shall he die, and his name perish?

6 ६ और जब वह मुझसे मिलने को आता है, तब वह व्यर्थ बातें बकता है, जबकि उसका मन अपने अन्दर अधर्म की बातें संचय करता है; और बाहर जाकर उनकी चर्चा करता है।

And if he came to see [me], his heart spoke vainly; he gathered iniquity to himself; he went forth and spoke in like manner.

7 ७ मेरे सब बैरी मिलकर मेरे विरुद्ध कानाफूसी करते हैं; वे मेरे विरुद्ध होकर मेरी हानि की कल्पना करते हैं।

All my enemies whispered against me; against me they devised my hurt.

8 ८ वे कहते हैं कि इसे तो कोई बुरा रोग लग गया है; अब जो यह पड़ा है, तो फिर कभी उठने का नहीं।

They denounced a wicked word against me, [saying], Now that he lies, shall he not rise up again?

9 ९ मेरा परम मित्र जिस पर मैं भरोसा रखता था, जो मेरी रोटी खाता था, उसने भी मेरे विरुद्ध लात उठाई है।

For even the man of my peace, in whom I trusted, who ate my bread, lifted up [his] heel against me.

10 १० परन्तु हे यहोवा, तू मुझ पर दया करके मुझ को उठा ले कि मैं उनको बदला दूँ।

But you, O Lord, have compassion upon me, and raise me up, and I shall requite them.

11 ११ मेरा शत्रु जो मुझ पर जयवन्त नहीं हो पाता, इससे मैंने जान लिया है कि तू मुझसे प्रसन्न है।

By this I know that you have delighted in me, because mine enemy shall not rejoice over me.

12 १२ और मुझे तो तू खराई से सम्भालता, और सर्वदा के लिये अपने सम्मुख स्थिर करता है।

But you did help me because of [mine] innocence, and have established me before you for ever.

13 १३ इस्राएल का परमेश्वर यहोवा आदि से अनन्तकाल तक धन्य है आमीन, फिर आमीन।

Blessed [be] the Lord God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. So be it, so be it.
