भजन संहिता 32

1 १ दाऊद का भजन मश्कील क्या ही धन्य है वह जिसका अपराध क्षमा किया गया, और जिसका पाप ढाँपा गया हो।

[A Psalm] of David. Maschil. Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, Whose sin is covered.

2 २ क्या ही धन्य है वह मनुष्य जिसके अधर्म का यहोवा लेखा न ले, और जिसकी आत्मा में कपट न हो।

Blessed is the man unto whom Jehovah imputeth not iniquity, And in whose spirit there is no guile.

3 ३ जब मैं चुप रहा तब दिन भर कराहते-कराहते मेरी हड्डियाँ पिघल गई।

When I kept silence, my bones wasted away Through my groaning all the day long.

4 ४ क्योंकि रात-दिन मैं तेरे हाथ के नीचे दबा रहा; और मेरी तरावट धूपकाल की सी झुर्राहट बनती गई। (सेला)

For day and night thy hand was heavy upon me: My moisture was changed [as] with the drought of summer. (Selah)

5 ५ जब मैंने अपना पाप तुझ पर प्रगट किया और अपना अधर्म न छिपाया, और कहा, “मैं यहोवा के सामने अपने अपराधों को मान लूँगा;” तब तूने मेरे अधर्म और पाप को क्षमा कर दिया। (सेला)

I acknowledged my sin unto thee, And mine iniquity did I not hide: I said, I will confess my transgressions unto Jehovah; And thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin. (Selah)

6 ६ इस कारण हर एक भक्त तुझ से ऐसे समय में प्रार्थना करे जबकि तू मिल सकता है। निश्चय जब जल की बड़ी बाढ़ आए तो भी उस भक्त के पास न पहुँचेगी।

For this let every one that is godly pray unto thee in a time when thou mayest be found: Surely when the great waters overflow they shall not reach unto him.

7 ७ तू मेरे छिपने का स्थान है; तू संकट से मेरी रक्षा करेगा; तू मुझे चारों ओर से छुटकारे के गीतों से घेर लेगा। (सेला)

Thou art my hiding-place; thou wilt preserve me from trouble; Thou wilt compass me about with songs of deliverance. (Selah)

8 ८ मैं तुझे बुद्धि दूँगा, और जिस मार्ग में तुझे चलना होगा उसमें तेरी अगुआई करूँगा; मैं तुझ पर कृपादृष्टि रखूँगा और सम्मति दिया करूँगा।

I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee.

9 ९ तुम घोड़े और खच्चर के समान न बनो जो समझ नहीं रखते, उनकी उमंग लगाम और रास से रोकनी पड़ती है, नहीं तो वे तेरे वश में नहीं आने के।

Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding; Whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, [Else] they will not come near unto thee.

10 १० दुष्ट को तो बहुत पीड़ा होगी; परन्तु जो यहोवा पर भरोसा रखता है वह करुणा से घिरा रहेगा।

Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he that trusteth in Jehovah, lovingkindness shall compass him about.

11 ११ हे धर्मियों यहोवा के कारण आनन्दित और मगन हो, और हे सब सीधे मनवालों आनन्द से जयजयकार करो!

Be glad in Jehovah, and rejoice, ye righteous; And shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.
