भजन संहिता 21

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन हे यहोवा तेरी सामर्थ्य से राजा आनन्दित होगा; और तेरे किए हुए उद्धार से वह अति मगन होगा।

TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. YHWH, the king is joyful in Your strength, How greatly he rejoices in Your salvation.

2 २ तूने उसके मनोरथ को पूरा किया है, और उसके मुँह की विनती को तूने अस्वीकार नहीं किया। (सेला)

You gave the desire of his heart to him, And You have not withheld the request of his lips. (Selah)

3 ३ क्योंकि तू उत्तम आशीषें देता हुआ उससे मिलता है और तू उसके सिर पर कुन्दन का मुकुट पहनाता है।

For You put blessings of goodness before him, You set a crown of fine gold on his head.

4 ४ उसने तुझ से जीवन माँगा, और तूने जीवनदान दिया; तूने उसको युगानुयुग का जीवन दिया है।

He has asked for life from You, You have given length of days to him, For all time and forever.

5 ५ तेरे उद्धार के कारण उसकी महिमा अधिक है; तू उसको वैभव और ऐश्वर्य से आभूषित कर देता है।

Great [is] his glory in Your salvation, You place splendor and majesty on him.

6 ६ क्योंकि तूने उसको सर्वदा के लिये आशीषित किया है; तू अपने सम्मुख उसको हर्ष और आनन्द से भर देता है।

For You make him blessings forever, You cause him to rejoice with joy, By Your countenance.

7 ७ क्योंकि राजा का भरोसा यहोवा के ऊपर है; और परमप्रधान की करुणा से वह कभी नहीं टलने का।

For the king is trusting in YHWH, And in the kindness of the Most High he is not moved.

8 ८ तेरा हाथ तेरे सब शत्रुओं को ढूँढ़ निकालेगा, तेरा दाहिना हाथ तेरे सब बैरियों का पता लगा लेगा।

Your hand comes to all Your enemies, Your right hand finds Your haters.

9 ९ तू अपने मुख के सम्मुख उन्हें जलते हुए भट्ठे के समान जलाएगा। यहोवा अपने क्रोध में उन्हें निगल जाएगा, और आग उनको भस्म कर डालेगी।

You make them as a furnace of fire, At the time of Your presence. YHWH swallows them in His anger, And fire devours them.

10 १० तू उनके फलों को पृथ्वी पर से, और उनके वंश को मनुष्यों में से नष्ट करेगा।

You destroy their fruit from earth, And their seed from the sons of men.

11 ११ क्योंकि उन्होंने तेरी हानि ठानी है, उन्होंने ऐसी युक्ति निकाली है जिसे वे पूरी न कर सकेंगे।

For they stretched out evil against You, They devised a wicked scheme, they do not prevail,

12 १२ क्योंकि तू अपना धनुष उनके विरुद्ध चढ़ाएगा, और वे पीठ दिखाकर भागेंगे।

For You make them turn their back, When You prepare Your strings against their faces.

13 १३ हे यहोवा, अपनी सामर्थ्य में महान हो; और हम गा गाकर तेरे पराक्रम का भजन सुनाएँगे।

Be exalted, O YHWH, in Your strength, We sing and we praise Your might!
