1 १ यहोवा की स्तुति करो! यहोवा की स्तुति स्वर्ग में से करो, उसकी स्तुति ऊँचे स्थानों में करो!
Praise ye Yah, Praise Yahweh, out of the heavens, Praise him, in the heights;
2 २ हे उसके सब दूतों, उसकी स्तुति करो: हे उसकी सब सेना उसकी स्तुति करो!
Praise him, all his messengers, Praise him, all his host;
3 ३ हे सूर्य और चन्द्रमा उसकी स्तुति करो, हे सब ज्योतिमय तारागण उसकी स्तुति करो!
Praise him, sun and moon, Praise him, all ye stars of light;
4 ४ हे सबसे ऊँचे आकाश और हे आकाश के ऊपरवाले जल, तुम दोनों उसकी स्तुति करो।
Praise him, O ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that are above the heavens;
5 ५ वे यहोवा के नाम की स्तुति करें, क्योंकि उसने आज्ञा दी और ये सिरजे गए।
Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for, he, commanded, and they were created;
6 ६ और उसने उनको सदा सर्वदा के लिये स्थिर किया है; और ऐसी विधि ठहराई है, जो टलने की नहीं।
So caused he them to stand perpetually—age-abidingly, A decree, hath he given, and it passeth not beyond.
7 ७ पृथ्वी में से यहोवा की स्तुति करो, हे समुद्री अजगरों और गहरे सागर,
Praise Yahweh, out of the earth, sea monsters, and all resounding deeps;
8 ८ हे अग्नि और ओलों, हे हिम और कुहरे, हे उसका वचन माननेवाली प्रचण्ड वायु!
Fire and hail, snow and vapour, stormy wind, fulfilling his word;
9 ९ हे पहाड़ों और सब टीलों, हे फलदाई वृक्षों और सब देवदारों!
Ye mountains, and all hills, fruit trees, and all cedars;
10 १० हे वन-पशुओं और सब घरेलू पशुओं, हे रेंगनेवाले जन्तुओं और हे पक्षियों!
Thou wild-beast, and all ye cattle, crawling creature, and bird of wing;
11 ११ हे पृथ्वी के राजाओं, और राज्य-राज्य के सब लोगों, हे हाकिमों और पृथ्वी के सब न्यायियों!
Kings of earth, and all peoples, Rulers, and all judges of earth;
12 १२ हे जवानों और कुमारियों, हे पुरनियों और बालकों!
Young men, yea even virgins, elders, and children.
13 १३ यहोवा के नाम की स्तुति करो, क्योंकि केवल उसी का नाम महान है; उसका ऐश्वर्य पृथ्वी और आकाश के ऊपर है।
Let them praise the Name of Yahweh, for lofty is his Name alone, His splendour is over earth and heavens.
14 १४ और उसने अपनी प्रजा के लिये एक सींग ऊँचा किया है; यह उसके सब भक्तों के लिये अर्थात् इस्राएलियों के लिये और उसके समीप रहनेवाली प्रजा के लिये स्तुति करने का विषय है। यहोवा की स्तुति करो!
Therefore hath he exalted a horn for his people, a praise for all his men of lovingkindness, for the sons of Israel—a people near him, Praise ye Yah!
