भजन संहिता 146

1 १ यहोवा की स्तुति करो। हे मेरे मन यहोवा की स्तुति कर!

Alleluia, [a Psalm] of Aggaeus and Zacharias. My soul, praise the Lord.

2 २ मैं जीवन भर यहोवा की स्तुति करता रहूँगा; जब तक मैं बना रहूँगा, तब तक मैं अपने परमेश्वर का भजन गाता रहूँगा।

While I live will I praise the Lord: I will sing praises to my God as long as I exist.

3 ३ तुम प्रधानों पर भरोसा न रखना, न किसी आदमी पर, क्योंकि उसमें उद्धार करने की शक्ति नहीं।

Trust not in princes, nor in the children of men, in whom there is no safety.

4 ४ उसका भी प्राण निकलेगा, वह भी मिट्टी में मिल जाएगा; उसी दिन उसकी सब कल्पनाएँ नाश हो जाएँगी।

His breath shall go forth, and he shall return to his earth; in that day all his thoughts shall perish.

5 ५ क्या ही धन्य वह है, जिसका सहायक याकूब का परमेश्वर है, और जिसकी आशा अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा पर है।

Blessed is he whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God:

6 ६ वह आकाश और पृथ्वी और समुद्र और उनमें जो कुछ है, सब का कर्ता है; और वह अपना वचन सदा के लिये पूरा करता रहेगा।

who made heaven, and earth, the sea, and all things in them: who keeps truth for ever:

7 ७ वह पिसे हुओं का न्याय चुकाता है; और भूखों को रोटी देता है। यहोवा बन्दियों को छुड़ाता है;

who executes judgment for the wronged: who gives food to the hungry. The Lord looses the fettered ones:

8 ८ यहोवा अंधों को आँखें देता है। यहोवा झुके हुओं को सीधा खड़ा करता है; यहोवा धर्मियों से प्रेम रखता है।

the Lord gives wisdom to the blind: The Lord sets up the broken down: the Lord loves the righteous: the Lord preserves the strangers;

9 ९ यहोवा परदेशियों की रक्षा करता है; और अनाथों और विधवा को तो सम्भालता है; परन्तु दुष्टों के मार्ग को टेढ़ा-मेढ़ा करता है।

he will relieve the orphan and widow: but will utterly remove the way of sinners.

10 १० हे सिय्योन, यहोवा सदा के लिये, तेरा परमेश्वर पीढ़ी-पीढ़ी राज्य करता रहेगा। यहोवा की स्तुति करो!

The Lord shall reign for ever, [even] your God, O Sion, to all generations.
