भजन संहिता 141
1 १ दाऊद का भजन हे यहोवा, मैंने तुझे पुकारा है; मेरे लिये फुर्ती कर! जब मैं तुझको पुकारूँ, तब मेरी ओर कान लगा!
A Psalm of David. O Lord, I have cried to you; hear me: attend to the voice of my supplication, when I cry to you.
Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; the lifting up of my hands [as] an evening sacrifice.
Set a watch, O Lord, on my mouth, and a strong door about by lips.
4 ४ मेरा मन किसी बुरी बात की ओर फिरने न दे; मैं अनर्थकारी पुरुषों के संग, दुष्ट कामों में न लगूँ, और मैं उनके स्वादिष्ट भोजनवस्तुओं में से कुछ न खाऊँ!
Incline not my heart to evil things, to employ pretexts for sins, with me who work iniquity: and I will not. let me not unite with their choice ones.
5 ५ धर्मी मुझ को मारे तो यह करुणा मानी जाएगी, और वह मुझे ताड़ना दे, तो यह मेरे सिर पर का तेल ठहरेगा; मेरा सिर उससे इन्कार न करेगा। दुष्ट लोगों के बुरे कामों के विरुद्ध मैं निरन्तर प्रार्थना करता रहूँगा।
The righteous shall chasten me with mercy, and reprove me: but let not the oil of the sinner anoint my head: for yet shall my prayer also be in their pleasures.
Their mighty ones have been swallowed up near the rock: they shall hear my words, for they are sweet.
7 ७ जैसे भूमि में हल चलने से ढेले फूटते हैं, वैसे ही हमारी हड्डियाँ अधोलोक के मुँह पर छितराई गई हैं। (Sheol h7585)
As a lump of earth is crushed upon the ground, our bones have been scattered by the [mouth of] the grave. (Sheol h7585)
8 ८ परन्तु हे यहोवा प्रभु, मेरी आँखें तेरी ही ओर लगी हैं; मैं तेरा शरणागत हूँ; तू मेरे प्राण जाने न दे!
For mine eyes are to you, O Lord God: I have hoped in you; take not away my life.
Keep me from the snare which they have set for me, and from the stumbling blocks of them that work iniquity.
Sinners shall fall by their own net: I am alone until I shall escape.
