भजन संहिता 140

1 १ प्रधान बजानेवाले के लिये दाऊद का भजन हे यहोवा, मुझ को बुरे मनुष्य से बचा ले; उपद्रवी पुरुष से मेरी रक्षा कर,

To the choirmaster a psalm of David. Rescue me O Yahweh from a man evil from a man of violence you will preserve me.

2 २ क्योंकि उन्होंने मन में बुरी कल्पनाएँ की हैं; वे लगातार लड़ाइयाँ मचाते हैं।

[those] who They plan evil things in [the] heart every day they stir up trouble wars.

3 ३ उनका बोलना साँप के काटने के समान है, उनके मुँह में नाग का सा विष रहता है। (सेला)

They sharpen tongue their like a snake [the] venom of a viper [is] under lips their (Selah)

4 ४ हे यहोवा, मुझे दुष्ट के हाथों से बचा ले; उपद्रवी पुरुष से मेरी रक्षा कर, क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरे पैरों को उखाड़ने की युक्ति की है।

Keep me O Yahweh - from [the] hands of [the] wicked from a man of violence you will preserve me [those] who they have planned to trip up footsteps my.

5 ५ घमण्डियों ने मेरे लिये फंदा और पासे लगाए, और पथ के किनारे जाल बिछाया है; उन्होंने मेरे लिये फंदे लगा रखे हैं। (सेला)

They have hidden proud [people] - a trap for me and ropes they have spread a net to [the] side of a track snares they have set for me (Selah)

6 ६ हे यहोवा, मैंने तुझ से कहा है कि तू मेरा परमेश्वर है; हे यहोवा, मेरे गिड़गिड़ाने की ओर कान लगा!

I say to Yahweh [are] God my you give ear to! O Yahweh [the] sound of supplications my.

7 ७ हे यहोवा प्रभु, हे मेरे सामर्थी उद्धारकर्ता, तूने युद्ध के दिन मेरे सिर की रक्षा की है।

O Yahweh O Lord [the] strength of salvation my you cover head my in a day of weaponry.

8 ८ हे यहोवा, दुष्ट की इच्छा को पूरी न होने दे, उसकी बुरी युक्ति को सफल न कर, नहीं तो वह घमण्ड करेगा। (सेला)

May not you grant O Yahweh [the] desires of [the] wicked plot his may not you promote they will arise (Selah)

9 ९ मेरे घेरनेवालों के सिर पर उन्हीं का विचारा हुआ उत्पात पड़े!

10 १० उन पर अंगारे डाले जाएँ! वे आग में गिरा दिए जाएँ! और ऐसे गड्ढों में गिरें, कि वे फिर उठ न सके!

11 ११ बकवादी पृथ्वी पर स्थिर नहीं होने का; उपद्रवी पुरुष को गिराने के लिये बुराई उसका पीछा करेगी।

12 १२ हे यहोवा, मुझे निश्चय है कि तू दीन जन का और दरिद्रों का न्याय चुकाएगा।

13 १३ निःसन्देह धर्मी तेरे नाम का धन्यवाद करने पाएँगे; सीधे लोग तेरे सम्मुख वास करेंगे।
