< भजन संहिता 136 >

1 १ यहोवा का धन्यवाद करो, क्योंकि वह भला है, और उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
Thank Yahweh, because he does good things [for us]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
2 २ जो ईश्वरों का परमेश्वर है, उसका धन्यवाद करो, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
Thank God, the one who is greater than all other gods; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
3 ३ जो प्रभुओं का प्रभु है, उसका धन्यवाद करो, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
Thank the Lord who is greater than all other lords/rulers; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
4 ४ उसको छोड़कर कोई बड़े-बड़े आश्चर्यकर्म नहीं करता, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the only one who performs great miracles; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
5 ५ उसने अपनी बुद्धि से आकाश बनाया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who by being very wise created the heavens; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
6 ६ उसने पृथ्वी को जल के ऊपर फैलाया है, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who caused the ground to rise up above the deep waters; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
7 ७ उसने बड़ी-बड़ी ज्योतियाँ बनाईं, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who created great lights [in the sky]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
8 ८ दिन पर प्रभुता करने के लिये सूर्य को बनाया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He created the sun to shine in the daytime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
9 ९ और रात पर प्रभुता करने के लिये चन्द्रमा और तारागण को बनाया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He created the moon and stars to shine during the nighttime; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
10 १० उसने मिस्रियों के पहिलौठों को मारा, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who killed the firstborn [males] in Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
11 ११ और उनके बीच से इस्राएलियों को निकाला, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He led the Israeli people out of Egypt; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
12 १२ बलवन्त हाथ और बढ़ाई हुई भुजा से निकाल लाया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
With his (strong hand/great power) he led them out; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
13 १३ उसने लाल समुद्र को विभाजित कर दिया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who caused the Red Sea to divide; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
14 १४ और इस्राएल को उसके बीच से पार कर दिया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है;
He enabled the Israeli people to walk through it [on dry land]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
15 १५ और फ़िरौन को उसकी सेना समेत लाल समुद्र में डाल दिया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
But he caused the king of Egypt and his army to drown in it; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
16 १६ वह अपनी प्रजा को जंगल में ले चला, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who led his people [safely through the desert]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
17 १७ उसने बड़े-बड़े राजा मारे, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He killed powerful kings; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
18 १८ उसने प्रतापी राजाओं को भी मारा, उसकी करुणा सदा की है;
He killed kings who were famous; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
19 १९ एमोरियों के राजा सीहोन को, उसकी करुणा सदा की है;
He killed Sihon, the king of the Amor people-group; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
20 २० और बाशान के राजा ओग को घात किया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He killed Og, the king of Bashan [region]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
21 २१ और उनके देश को भाग होने के लिये, उसकी करुणा सदा की है;
He gave their lands to us, his people; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
22 २२ अपने दास इस्राएलियों के भाग होने के लिये दे दिया, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He gave those lands to us people of Israel, who serve him; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
23 २३ उसने हमारी दुर्दशा में हमारी सुधि ली, उसकी करुणा सदा की है;
He is the one who did not forget about us when we were defeated [by our enemies]; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
24 २४ और हमको द्रोहियों से छुड़ाया है, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He rescued us from our enemies; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
25 २५ वह सब प्राणियों को आहार देता है, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
He is the one who gives food to all living creatures; his faithful love [for us] endures forever.
26 २६ स्वर्ग के परमेश्वर का धन्यवाद करो, उसकी करुणा सदा की है।
[So] thank God, [who lives in] heaven, [for all those things], because his faithful love [for us] endures forever!
