भजन संहिता 131
1 १ दाऊद की यात्रा का गीत हे यहोवा, न तो मेरा मन गर्व से और न मेरी दृष्टि घमण्ड से भरी है; और जो बातें बड़ी और मेरे लिये अधिक कठिन हैं, उनसे मैं काम नहीं रखता।
A Song of degrees of David. LORD, my heart is not haughty, nor my eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
2 २ निश्चय मैंने अपने मन को शान्त और चुप कर दिया है, जैसे दूध छुड़ाया हुआ बच्चा अपनी माँ की गोद में रहता है, वैसे ही दूध छुड़ाए हुए बच्चे के समान मेरा मन भी रहता है।
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned by his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
Let Israel hope in the LORD from henceforth and for ever.
