भजन संहिता 130

1 १ यात्रा का गीत हे यहोवा, मैंने गहरे स्थानों में से तुझको पुकारा है!

Out of the depths I have cried to you, Adonai.

2 २ हे प्रभु, मेरी सुन! तेरे कान मेरे गिड़गिड़ाने की ओर ध्यान से लगे रहें!

Lord, sh'ma ·hear obey· my voice. Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my petitions.

3 ३ हे यहोवा, यदि तू अधर्म के कामों का लेखा ले, तो हे प्रभु कौन खड़ा रह सकेगा?

If you, Yah, kept a record of depravities (moral evils), Lord, who could stand?

4 ४ परन्तु तू क्षमा करनेवाला है, जिससे तेरा भय माना जाए।

But there is forgiveness with you, therefore you are feared.

5 ५ मैं यहोवा की बाट जोहता हूँ, मैं जी से उसकी बाट जोहता हूँ, और मेरी आशा उसके वचन पर है;

I wait for Adonai. My soul waits. I hope in his word.

6 ६ पहरुए जितना भोर को चाहते हैं, हाँ, पहरुए जितना भोर को चाहते हैं, उससे भी अधिक मैं यहोवा को अपने प्राणों से चाहता हूँ।

My soul longs for 'Adonay [Lord] more than watchmen long for the morning; more than watchmen for the morning.

7 ७ इस्राएल, यहोवा पर आशा लगाए रहे! क्योंकि यहोवा करुणा करनेवाला और पूरा छुटकारा देनेवाला है।

Israel [God prevails], hope in Adonai, for with Adonai there is chesed ·loving-kindness·. With him is abundant redemption.

8 ८ इस्राएल को उसके सारे अधर्म के कामों से वही छुटकारा देगा।

He will redeem Israel [God prevails] from all their depravities (moral evils).
