भजन संहिता 115

1 १ हे यहोवा, हमारी नहीं, हमारी नहीं, वरन् अपने ही नाम की महिमा, अपनी करुणा और सच्चाई के निमित्त कर।

Lord, not to vs, not to vs; but yyue thou glorie to thi name.

2 २ जाति-जाति के लोग क्यों कहने पाएँ, “उनका परमेश्वर कहाँ रहा?”

On thi merci and thi treuthe; lest ony tyme hethene men seien, Where is the God of hem?

3 ३ हमारा परमेश्वर तो स्वर्ग में हैं; उसने जो चाहा वही किया है।

Forsothe oure God in heuene; dide alle thingis, whiche euere he wolde.

4 ४ उन लोगों की मूरतें सोने चाँदी ही की तो हैं, वे मनुष्यों के हाथ की बनाई हुई हैं।

The symulacris of hethene men ben siluer and gold; the werkis of mennus hondis.

5 ५ उनके मुँह तो रहता है परन्तु वे बोल नहीं सकती; उनके आँखें तो रहती हैं परन्तु वे देख नहीं सकती।

Tho han mouth, and schulen not speke; tho han iyen, and schulen not se.

6 ६ उनके कान तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे सुन नहीं सकती; उनके नाक तो रहती हैं, परन्तु वे सूँघ नहीं सकती।

Tho han eeris, and schulen not here; tho han nose thurls, and schulen not smelle.

7 ७ उनके हाथ तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे स्पर्श नहीं कर सकती; उनके पाँव तो रहते हैं, परन्तु वे चल नहीं सकती; और उनके कण्ठ से कुछ भी शब्द नहीं निकाल सकती।

Tho han hondis, and schulen not grope; tho han feet, and schulen not go; tho schulen not crye in her throte.

8 ८ जैसी वे हैं वैसे ही उनके बनानेवाले हैं; और उन पर सब भरोसा रखनेवाले भी वैसे ही हो जाएँगे।

Thei that maken tho ben maad lijk tho; and alle that triste in tho.

9 ९ हे इस्राएल, यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

The hous of Israel hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere `of hem, and the defendere of hem.

10 १० हे हारून के घराने, यहोवा पर भरोसा रख! तेरा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

The hous of Aaron hopide in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.

11 ११ हे यहोवा के डरवैयों, यहोवा पर भरोसा रखो! तुम्हारा सहायक और ढाल वही है।

Thei that dreden the Lord, hopiden in the Lord; he is the helpere of hem, and the defendere of hem.

12 १२ यहोवा ने हमको स्मरण किया है; वह आशीष देगा; वह इस्राएल के घराने को आशीष देगा; वह हारून के घराने को आशीष देगा।

The Lord was myndeful of vs; and blesside vs. He blesside the hous of Israel; he blesside the hous of Aaron.

13 १३ क्या छोटे क्या बड़े जितने यहोवा के डरवैये हैं, वह उन्हें आशीष देगा।

He blesside alle men that dreden the Lord; `he blesside litle `men with the grettere.

14 १४ यहोवा तुम को और तुम्हारे वंश को भी अधिक बढ़ाता जाए।

The Lord encreesse on you; on you and on youre sones.

15 १५ यहोवा जो आकाश और पृथ्वी का कर्ता है, उसकी ओर से तुम आशीष पाए हो।

Blessid be ye of the Lord; that made heuene and erthe.

16 १६ स्वर्ग तो यहोवा का है, परन्तु पृथ्वी उसने मनुष्यों को दी है।

Heuene of `heuene is to the Lord; but he yaf erthe to the sones of men.

17 १७ मृतक जितने चुपचाप पड़े हैं, वे तो यहोवा की स्तुति नहीं कर सकते,

Lord, not deed men schulen herie thee; nether alle men that goen doun in to helle.

18 १८ परन्तु हम लोग यहोवा को अब से लेकर सर्वदा तक धन्य कहते रहेंगे। यहोवा की स्तुति करो!

But we that lyuen, blessen the Lord; fro this tyme now and til in to the world.
