मरकुस 5
And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.
And when He was come out of the ship, immediately there met Him from the tombs,
a man with an impure spirit, who kept among the tombs; and no one could bind him, not even with chains:
4 ४ क्योंकि वह बार बार बेड़ियों और जंजीरों से बाँधा गया था, पर उसने जंजीरों को तोड़ दिया, और बेड़ियों के टुकड़े-टुकड़े कर दिए थे, और कोई उसे वश में नहीं कर सकता था।
for he had often been bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been pulled asunder by him, and the fetters broken; and no man could tame him:
and he was always night and day upon the hills and among the sepulchres bawling, and gashing himself with stones.
But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped Him,
7 ७ और ऊँचे शब्द से चिल्लाकर कहा, “हे यीशु, परमप्रधान परमेश्वर के पुत्र, मुझे तुझ से क्या काम? मैं तुझे परमेश्वर की शपथ देता हूँ, कि मुझे पीड़ा न दे।”
and crying out with a loud voice said, Jesus thou Son of the most high God, what have I to do with thee? I adjure thee by God, that thou wouldst not torment me:
(for He said to him, Thou impure spirit, come out of the man.)
And He asked him, What is thy name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.
And he earnestly intreated Him, that He would not send them out of that country.
Now there was a great herd of swine feeding upon the mountains:
and all the demons intreated Him, saying, Send us to the swine, that we may enter into them.
13 १३ अतः उसने उन्हें आज्ञा दी और अशुद्ध आत्मा निकलकर सूअरों के भीतर घुस गई और झुण्ड, जो कोई दो हजार का था, कड़ाड़े पर से झपटकर झील में जा पड़ा, और डूब मरा।
And immediately Jesus permitted them: and the impure spirits went out of the man, and entered into the swine; and the herd (which were about two thousand, ) ran violently down a precipice into the sea, and were suffocated.
And they that were feeding the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what was done:
and they come to Jesus, and see the demoniac, who had been possessed by the legion, sitting and clothed, and in his right mind; and they were afraid.
And when those that saw it told them what had happened to the demoniac,
and concerning the swine, they intreated Him to depart from their borders.
18 १८ और जब वह नाव पर चढ़ने लगा, तो वह जिसमें पहले दुष्टात्माएँ थीं, उससे विनती करने लगा, “मुझे अपने साथ रहने दे।”
And as He went into the ship, the demoniac intreated Him that he might be with Him:
19 १९ परन्तु उसने उसे आज्ञा न दी, और उससे कहा, “अपने घर जाकर अपने लोगों को बता, कि तुझ पर दया करके प्रभु ने तेरे लिये कैसे बड़े काम किए हैं।”
but Jesus did not permit him; but saith to him, Go home to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee:
20 २० वह जाकर दिकापुलिस में इस बात का प्रचार करने लगा, कि यीशु ने मेरे लिये कैसे बड़े काम किए; और सब अचम्भा करते थे।
and he departed, and published in Decapolis, how great things Jesus had done for him, and they were all amazed.
And when Jesus passed over again in the ship to the other side, a great multitude was gathered unto Him, nigh unto the sea.
And behold, there cometh one of the rulers of the synagogue, named Jairus; and as soon as he saw Him, he fell at his feet,
23 २३ और उसने यह कहकर बहुत विनती की, “मेरी छोटी बेटी मरने पर है: तू आकर उस पर हाथ रख, कि वह चंगी होकर जीवित रहे।”
and earnestly intreated Him, saying, My little daughter is at the point of death, I beseech thee that thou wouldst come and lay thy hands on her, that she may be healed, and she will live.
So Jesus went with him, and a great multitude followed Him, and pressed about Him.
And a woman who had been in a flux twelve years,
26 २६ और जिसने बहुत वैद्यों से बड़ा दुःख उठाया और अपना सब माल व्यय करने पर भी कुछ लाभ न उठाया था, परन्तु और भी रोगी हो गई थी।
and had suffered a great deal from many physicians, and spent all that she had, and received no benefit, but rather grew worse,
when she heard of Jesus, came behind Him in the croud, and touched his garment; for she said,
If I can but touch his clothes, I shall be cured.
29 २९ और तुरन्त उसका लहू बहना बन्द हो गया; और उसने अपनी देह में जान लिया, कि मैं उस बीमारी से अच्छी हो गई हूँ।
And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt within herself that she was healed of the disorder.
30 ३० यीशु ने तुरन्त अपने में जान लिया, कि मुझसे सामर्थ्य निकली है, और भीड़ में पीछे फिरकर पूछा, “मेरा वस्त्र किसने छुआ?”
And immediately Jesus, knowing in Himself that power was gone out of Him, turned about in the croud and said, Who touched my clothes?
31 ३१ उसके चेलों ने उससे कहा, “तू देखता है, कि भीड़ तुझ पर गिरी पड़ती है, और तू कहता है; किकिसने मुझे छुआ?”
And his disciples said unto Him, Thou seest the multitude crouding about thee, and dost thou ask, Who touched me?
and He looked round about to see who had done it.
33 ३३ तब वह स्त्री यह जानकर, कि उसके साथ क्या हुआ है, डरती और काँपती हुई आई, और उसके पाँवों पर गिरकर, उससे सब हाल सच-सच कह दिया।
But the woman being afraid and trembling, as knowing what had been done in her, came and prostrated herself to Him, and told Him all the truth:
34 ३४ उसने उससे कहा, “पुत्री, तेरे विश्वास ने तुझे चंगा किया है: कुशल से जा, और अपनी इस बीमारी से बची रह।”
and He said to her, Daughter, thy faith has saved thee; go in peace, and be healed of thy disorder.
35 ३५ वह यह कह ही रहा था, कि आराधनालय के सरदार के घर से लोगों ने आकर कहा, “तेरी बेटी तो मर गई; अब गुरु को क्यों दुःख देता है?”
While He was yet speaking, there came some from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying, Thy daughter is dead, why dost thou trouble the Master any more?
36 ३६ जो बात वे कह रहे थे, उसको यीशु ने अनसुनी करके, आराधनालय के सरदार से कहा, “मत डर; केवल विश्वास रख।”
But Jesus hearing the word that was spoken, immediately saith to the ruler of the synagogue, Fear not, only believe:
and He suffered none to go along with Him, but Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.
And He cometh to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and seeth a tumult, people weeping and lamenting greatly:
39 ३९ तब उसने भीतर जाकर उनसे कहा, “तुम क्यों हल्ला मचाते और रोते हो? लड़की मरी नहीं, परन्तु सो रही है।”
and when He was come in, He saith unto them, Why do ye take on thus and weep? the child is not dead, but asleep.
40 ४० वे उसकी हँसी करने लगे, परन्तु उसने सब को निकालकर लड़की के माता-पिता और अपने साथियों को लेकर, भीतर जहाँ लड़की पड़ी थी, गया।
And they laughed at Him: but when He had turned them all out, He taketh the father, and the mother of the child, and those three that were with Him, and goes in where the child was laid:
41 ४१ और लड़की का हाथ पकड़कर उससे कहा, “तलीता कूमी”; जिसका अर्थ यह है “हे लड़की, मैं तुझ से कहता हूँ, उठ।”
and taking hold of her hand, He saith unto her, Talitha, cumi, which is, being interpreted, Damsel, (I say unto thee) arise:
42 ४२ और लड़की तुरन्त उठकर चलने फिरने लगी; क्योंकि वह बारह वर्ष की थी। और इस पर लोग बहुत चकित हो गए।
and immediately the damsel rose up and walked; for she was twelve years old; and they were struck with great astonishment.
43 ४३ फिर उसने उन्हें चेतावनी के साथ आज्ञा दी कि यह बात कोई जानने न पाए और कहा; “इसे कुछ खाने को दो।”
And He strictly charged them, that no one should know it: and bid them give her something to eat.
