न्यायियों 18
1 १ उन दिनों में इस्राएलियों का कोई राजा न था। और उन्हीं दिनों में दानियों के गोत्र के लोग रहने के लिये कोई भाग ढूँढ़ रहे थे; क्योंकि इस्राएली गोत्रों के बीच उनका भाग उस समय तक न मिला था।
In the days those there not [was] a king in Israel and in the days those [the] tribe of the Danite[s] [was] seeking for itself an inheritance to dwell in for not it had fallen to it until the day that in among [the] tribes of Israel an inheritance.
2 २ तब दानियों ने अपने समस्त कुल में से पाँच शूरवीरों को सोरा और एश्ताओल से देश का भेद लेने और उसमें छानबीन करने के लिये यह कहकर भेज दिया, “जाकर देश में छानबीन करो।” इसलिए वे एप्रैम के पहाड़ी देश में मीका के घर तक जाकर वहाँ टिक गए।
And they sent [the] descendants of Dan - from tribe their five men from ends their men sons of strength from Zorah and from Eshtaol to spy out the land and to explore it and they said to them go explore the land and they went [the] hill country of Ephraim to [the] house of Micah and they spent [the] night there.
3 ३ जब वे मीका के घर के पास आए, तब उस जवान लेवीय का बोल पहचाना; इसलिए वहाँ मुड़कर उससे पूछा, “तुझे यहाँ कौन ले आया? और तू यहाँ क्या करता है? और यहाँ तेरे पास क्या है?”
They [were] near [the] house of Micah and they they recognized [the] voice of the young man the Levite and they turned aside there and they said to him who? did he bring you here and what? [are] you doing in this [place] and what? [belongs] to you here.
4 ४ उसने उनसे कहा, “मीका ने मुझसे ऐसा-ऐसा व्यवहार किया है, और मुझे नौकर रखा है, और मैं उसका पुरोहित हो गया हूँ।”
And he said to them like this and like this he has done for me Micah and he has hired me and I have become of him a priest.
5 ५ उन्होंने उससे कहा, “परमेश्वर से सलाह ले, कि हम जान लें कि जो यात्रा हम करते हैं वह सफल होगी या नहीं।”
And they said to him enquire please by God so let us know ¿ will it succeed journey our which we [are] going on it.
And he said to them the priest go to peace [is] before Yahweh way your which you go in it.
7 ७ तब वे पाँच मनुष्य चल निकले, और लैश को जाकर वहाँ के लोगों को देखा कि सीदोनियों के समान निडर, बेखटके, और शान्ति से रहते हैं; और इस देश का कोई अधिकारी नहीं है, जो उन्हें किसी काम में रोके, और ये सीदोनियों से दूर रहते हैं, और दूसरे मनुष्यों से कोई व्यवहार नहीं रखते।
And they went [the] five the men and they came Laish towards and they saw the people which in midst its [was] dwelling to security according to [the] custom of [the] Sidonians at peace - and secure and there not [was one] putting to shame anything in the land [one] possessing oppression and [were] far they from [the] Sidonians and anything not [belonged] to them with anyone.
8 ८ तब वे सोरा और एश्ताओल को अपने भाइयों के पास गए, और उनके भाइयों ने उनसे पूछा, “तुम क्या समाचार ले आए हो?”
And they came to brothers their Zorah and Eshtaol and they said to them brothers their what? you.
9 ९ उन्होंने कहा, “आओ, हम उन लोगों पर चढ़ाई करें; क्योंकि हमने उस देश को देखा कि वह बहुत अच्छा है। तुम क्यों चुपचाप रहते हो? वहाँ चलकर उस देश को अपने वश में कर लेने में आलस न करो।
And they said arise! so we may go up on them for we have seen the land and there! [it is] good very and you [are] inactive may not you hesitate to go to go to take possession of the land.
10 १० वहाँ पहुँचकर तुम निडर रहते हुए लोगों को, और लम्बा चौड़ा देश पाओगे; और परमेश्वर ने उसे तुम्हारे हाथ में दे दिया है। वह ऐसा स्थान है जिसमें पृथ्वी भर के किसी पदार्थ की घटी नहीं है।”
When go you you will come - to a people secure and the land [is] broad of both hands for he has given it God in hand your a place where there not there [is] lack of any thing which [is] on the earth.
11 ११ तब वहाँ से अर्थात् सोरा और एश्ताओल से दानियों के कुल के छः सौ पुरुषों ने युद्ध के हथियार बाँधकर प्रस्थान किया।
And they set out from there of [the] tribe of the Danite[s] from Zorah and from Eshtaol six hundred man girded weapons of war.
12 १२ उन्होंने जाकर यहूदा देश के किर्यत्यारीम नगर में डेरे खड़े किए। इस कारण उस स्थान का नाम महनेदान आज तक पड़ा है, वह तो किर्य्यत्यारीम के पश्चिम की ओर है।
And they went up and they encamped at Kiriath Jearim in Judah there-fore they called the place that Mahaneh Dan until the day this there! behind Kiriath Jearim.
And they passed through from there [the] hill country of Ephraim and they came to [the] house of Micah.
14 १४ तब जो पाँच मनुष्य लैश के देश का भेद लेने गए थे, वे अपने भाइयों से कहने लगे, “क्या तुम जानते हो कि इन घरों में एक एपोद, कई एक गृहदेवता, एक खुदी और एक ढली हुई मूरत है? इसलिए अब सोचो, कि क्या करना चाहिये।”
And they answered [the] five the men who had gone to spy out the land Laish and they said to brothers their ¿ do you know that there in the houses these [are] an ephod and teraphim and a carved image and a molten image and therefore consider what? will you do.
And they turned aside there and they came to [the] house of the young man the Levite [the] house of Micah and they asked of him to welfare.
And six hundred man girded [the] weapons of war their [were] standing [the] entrance of the gate who [were] of [the] descendants of Dan.
17 १७ और जो पाँच मनुष्य देश का भेद लेने गए थे, उन्होंने वहाँ घुसकर उस खुदी हुई मूरत, और एपोद, और गृहदेवताओं, और ढली हुई मूरत को ले लिया, और वह पुरोहित फाटक में उन हथियार बाँधे हुए छः सौ पुरुषों के संग खड़ा था।
And they went up [the] five the men who had gone to spy out the land they went there they took the carved image and the ephod and the teraphim and the molten image and the priest [was] standing [the] entrance of the gate and six hundred the man girded [the] weapons of war.
18 १८ जब वे पाँच मनुष्य मीका के घर में घुसकर खुदी हुई मूरत, एपोद, गृहदेवता, और ढली हुई मूरत को ले आए थे, तब पुरोहित ने उनसे पूछा, “यह तुम क्या करते हो?”
And these [men] they went [the] house of Micah and they took [the] carved image of the ephod and the teraphim and the molten image and he said to them the priest what? [are] you doing.
19 १९ उन्होंने उससे कहा, “चुप रह, अपने मुँह को हाथ से बन्द कर, और हम लोगों के संग चलकर, हमारे लिये पिता और पुरोहित बन। तेरे लिये क्या अच्छा है? यह, कि एक ही मनुष्य के घराने का पुरोहित हो, या यह, कि इस्राएलियों के एक गोत्र और कुल का पुरोहित हो?”
And they said to him keep quiet put hand your over mouth your and come with us and become of us a father and a priest ¿ good - [is] being you a priest of [the] house of a man one or? being you a priest of a tribe and of a clan in Israel.
20 २० तब पुरोहित प्रसन्न हुआ, इसलिए वह एपोद, गृहदेवता, और खुदी हुई मूरत को लेकर उन लोगों के संग चला गया।
And it was good [the] heart of the priest and he took the ephod and the teraphim and the carved image and he went in [the] midst of the people.
And they turned and they went and they put the little one[s] and the livestock and the valuable[s] before them.
22 २२ जब वे मीका के घर से दूर निकल गए थे, तब जो मनुष्य मीका के घर के पासवाले घरों में रहते थे उन्होंने इकट्ठे होकर दानियों को जा लिया।
They they had gone far away from [the] house of Micah and the men who [were] in the houses which [were] near [the] house of Micah they were called together and they overtook [the] descendants of Dan.
23 २३ और दानियों को पुकारा, तब उन्होंने मुँह फेर के मीका से कहा, “तुझे क्या हुआ कि तू इतना बड़ा दल लिए आता है?”
And they called out to [the] descendants of Dan and they turned round faces their and they said to Micah what? [is that] to you that you have been called together.
24 २४ उसने कहा, “तुम तो मेरे बनवाए हुए देवताओं और पुरोहित को ले चले हो; फिर मेरे पास क्या रह गया? तो तुम मुझसे क्यों पूछते हो कि तुझे क्या हुआ है?”
And he said gods my which I made you have taken and the priest and you have gone and what? [belongs] to me still and why? this are you saying to me what? [is] to you.
25 २५ दानियों ने उससे कहा, “तेरा बोल हम लोगों में सुनाई न दे, कहीं ऐसा न हो कि क्रोधी जन तुम लोगों पर प्रहार करें और तू अपना और अपने घर के लोगों के भी प्राण को खो दे।”
And they said to him [the] descendants of Dan may not you make heard voice your with us lest they should fall on you men bitter of appetite and you will gather life your and [the] life of household your.
26 २६ तब दानियों ने अपना मार्ग लिया; और मीका यह देखकर कि वे मुझसे अधिक बलवन्त हैं फिरके अपने घर लौट गया।
And they went [the] descendants of Dan to way their and he saw Micah that [were too] strong they for him and he turned and he returned to house his.
27 २७ तब वे मीका के बनवाए हुए पदार्थों और उसके पुरोहित को साथ ले लैश के पास आए, जिसके लोग शान्ति से और बिना खटके रहते थे, और उन्होंने उनको तलवार से मार डाला, और नगर को आग लगाकर फूँक दिया।
And they they took [that] which he had made Micah and the priest who he belonged to him and they went to Laish to a people at peace and secure and they struck them to [the] mouth of [the] sword and the city they burned with fire.
28 २८ और कोई बचानेवाला न था, क्योंकि वह सीदोन से दूर था, और वे और मनुष्यों से कोई व्यवहार न रखते थे। और वह बेत्रहोब की तराई में था। तब उन्होंने नगर को दृढ़ किया, और उसमें रहने लगे।
And there not [was] a deliverer for [was] far it from Sidon and anything not [belonged] to them with anyone and it [was] in the valley which [belongs] to Beth Rehob and they rebuilt the city and they dwelt in it.
29 २९ और उन्होंने उस नगर का नाम इस्राएल के एक पुत्र अपने मूलपुरुष दान के नाम पर दान रखा; परन्तु पहले तो उस नगर का नाम लैश था।
And they called [the] name of the city Dan by [the] name of Dan ancestor their who he was born to Israel and but [was] Laish [the] name of the city to the former [time].
30 ३० तब दानियों ने उस खुदी हुई मूरत को खड़ा कर लिया; और देश की बँधुआई के समय वह योनातान जो गेर्शोम का पुत्र और मूसा का पोता था, वह और उसके वंश के लोग दान गोत्र के पुरोहित बने रहे।
And they set up for themselves [the] descendants of Dan the carved image and Jonathan [the] son of Gershom [the] son of Manasseh he and sons his they were priests of [the] tribe of the Danite[s] until [the] day went into exile of the land.
31 ३१ और जब तक परमेश्वर का भवन शीलो में बना रहा, तब तक वे मीका की खुदवाई हुई मूरत को स्थापित किए रहे।
And they set up for themselves [the] carved image of Micah which he had made all [the] days of [the] being of [the] house of God at Shiloh.
