यूहन्ना 12
1 १ फिर यीशु फसह से छः दिन पहले बैतनिय्याह में आया, जहाँ लाज़र था; जिसे यीशु ने मरे हुओं में से जिलाया था।
Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was (the deceased whom He raised from the dead).
2 २ वहाँ उन्होंने उसके लिये भोजन तैयार किया, और मार्था सेवा कर रही थी, और लाज़र उनमें से एक था, जो उसके साथ भोजन करने के लिये बैठे थे।
So they gave a dinner for Him there—Martha was serving, while Lazarus was one of those reclining at the table with Him.
3 ३ तब मरियम ने जटामासी का आधा सेर बहुमूल्य इत्र लेकर यीशु के पाँवों पर डाला, और अपने बालों से उसके पाँव पोंछे, और इत्र की सुगन्ध से घर सुगन्धित हो गया।
Then Mary, bringing a pound of pure oil of nard, very costly, anointed Jesus' feet, and wiped His feet with her hair! And the house was filled with the fragrance of the oil.
Then one of His disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son (who was about to betray Him), said,
“Why wasn't this oil sold for 300 denarii and given to the poor?”
6 ६ उसने यह बात इसलिए न कही, कि उसे गरीबों की चिन्ता थी, परन्तु इसलिए कि वह चोर था और उसके पास उनकी थैली रहती थी, और उसमें जो कुछ डाला जाता था, वह निकाल लेता था।
(Now he did not say this because the poor mattered to him, but because he was a thief and had the money box; and used to pilfer what was put in it.)
So Jesus said: “Let her be; she has performed this with a view to my burial.
For you always have the poor with you, but you do not always have me.”
9 ९ यहूदियों में से साधारण लोग जान गए, कि वह वहाँ है, और वे न केवल यीशु के कारण आए परन्तु इसलिए भी कि लाज़र को देखें, जिसे उसने मरे हुओं में से जिलाया था।
Then a large crowd of the Jews learned that He was there; and they came, not only because of Jesus but also to see Lazarus, whom He had raised from the dead.
So the chief priests decided to kill Lazarus as well,
in that because of him many of the Jews were defecting and believing into Jesus.
The next day a large crowd that had come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming into Jerusalem,
13 १३ उन्होंने खजूर की डालियाँ लीं, और उससे भेंट करने को निकले, और पुकारने लगे, “होशाना! धन्य इस्राएल का राजा, जो प्रभु के नाम से आता है।”
took branches from palm trees and went out to meet Him. And they started shouting: “Hosanna!” “Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!” “King of Israel!”
And finding a young donkey Jesus sat on it; just as it is written:
“Fear no more, daughter of Zion. Look, your King is coming, sitting on a donkey's colt!”
16 १६ उसके चेले, ये बातें पहले न समझे थे; परन्तु जब यीशु की महिमा प्रगट हुई, तो उनको स्मरण आया, कि ये बातें उसके विषय में लिखी हुई थीं; और लोगों ने उससे इस प्रकार का व्यवहार किया था।
(Now His disciples did not understand these things at first; but when Jesus was glorified, then they remembered that these things were written about Him, and they had done them to Him.)
17 १७ तब भीड़ के लोगों ने जो उस समय उसके साथ थे यह गवाही दी कि उसने लाज़र को कब्र में से बुलाकर, मरे हुओं में से जिलाया था।
So the crowd that had been with Him when He called Lazarus out of the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to testify.
18 १८ इसी कारण लोग उससे भेंट करने को आए थे क्योंकि उन्होंने सुना था, कि उसने यह आश्चर्यकर्म दिखाया है।
That is also why the crowd met Him, because they heard that He had performed this sign.
19 १९ तब फरीसियों ने आपस में कहा, “सोचो, तुम लोग कुछ नहीं कर पा रहे हो; देखो, संसार उसके पीछे हो चला है।”
So the Pharisees said among themselves: “You can see that you are not making any difference! Just look, the world has gone off after Him!”
Now there were some Greeks among those who went up to worship at the feast.
21 २१ उन्होंने गलील के बैतसैदा के रहनेवाले फिलिप्पुस के पास आकर उससे विनती की, “श्रीमान हम यीशु से भेंट करना चाहते हैं।”
So these men approached Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and requested of him saying, “Sir, we want to see Jesus.”
Philip goes and tells Andrew, and in turn Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.
But Jesus answered them saying: “The hour has come for the Son of the Man to be glorified.
24 २४ मैं तुम से सच-सच कहता हूँ, कि जब तक गेहूँ का दाना भूमि में पड़कर मर नहीं जाता, वह अकेला रहता है परन्तु जब मर जाता है, तो बहुत फल लाता है।
Most assuredly I say to you, if a grain of wheat, having fallen into the ground, does not die, it remains alone; but if it dies it bears a lot of fruit.
25 २५ जो अपने प्राण को प्रिय जानता है, वह उसे खो देता है; और जो इस जगत में अपने प्राण को अप्रिय जानता है; वह अनन्त जीवन के लिये उसकी रक्षा करेगा। (aiōnios g166)
The one ‘loving’ his life will waste it, and the one ‘hating’ his life, in this world, will preserve it into eternal life. (aiōnios g166)
26 २६ यदि कोई मेरी सेवा करे, तो मेरे पीछे हो ले; और जहाँ मैं हूँ वहाँ मेरा सेवक भी होगा; यदि कोई मेरी सेवा करे, तो पिता उसका आदर करेगा।
If anyone would serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, my servant will be too. Further, if anyone serves me, the Father will honor him.
27 २७ “अब मेरा जी व्याकुल हो रहा है। इसलिए अब मैं क्या कहूँ? ‘हे पिता, मुझे इस घड़ी से बचा?’ परन्तु मैं इसी कारण इस घड़ी को पहुँचा हूँ।
“Now my soul is distressed, and what should I say—‘Father, rescue me from this hour’? But this is why I came to this hour—
28 २८ हे पिता अपने नाम की महिमा कर।” तब यह आकाशवाणी हुई, “मैंने उसकी महिमा की है, और फिर भी करूँगा।”
‘Father, glorify your name!’” Then a Voice came out of Heaven, “I have both glorified it and will glorify it again!”
29 २९ तब जो लोग खड़े हुए सुन रहे थे, उन्होंने कहा; कि बादल गरजा, औरों ने कहा, “कोई स्वर्गदूत उससे बोला।”
So the crowd that was standing by and listening said that it had thundered. Others said, “An angel has spoken to Him.”
Jesus answered and said: “It was not for my sake that this Voice came, but for your sakes.
Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be thrown out.
While I, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people to myself.”
(Now He said this to indicate by what kind of death He was about to die.)
34 ३४ इस पर लोगों ने उससे कहा, “हमने व्यवस्था की यह बात सुनी है, कि मसीह सर्वदा रहेगा, फिर तू क्यों कहता है, कि मनुष्य के पुत्र को ऊँचे पर चढ़ाया जाना अवश्य है? यह मनुष्य का पुत्र कौन है?” (aiōn g165)
The people answered Him: “We have heard from the Law that the Messiah remains forever; and so how can you say, ‘The Son of the Man must be lifted up’? Who is this ‘the Son of the Man’?” (aiōn g165)
35 ३५ यीशु ने उनसे कहा, “ज्योति अब थोड़ी देर तक तुम्हारे बीच में है, जब तक ज्योति तुम्हारे साथ है तब तक चले चलो; ऐसा न हो कि अंधकार तुम्हें आ घेरे; जो अंधकार में चलता है वह नहीं जानता कि किधर जाता है।
Then Jesus said to them: “The Light will be with you just a little longer. Walk while you have the light, so that darkness does not overtake you; the one who walks in the darkness does not know where he is going.
36 ३६ जब तक ज्योति तुम्हारे साथ है, ज्योति पर विश्वास करो कि तुम ज्योति के सन्तान बनो।” ये बातें कहकर यीशु चला गया और उनसे छिपा रहा।
While you have the Light, believe into the Light, so that you may become sons of light.” Jesus said these things, and going away He was hidden from them.
Although He had performed so many signs in their presence, they were not believing into Him;
38 ३८ ताकि यशायाह भविष्यद्वक्ता का वचन पूरा हो जो उसने कहा: “हे प्रभु, हमारे समाचार पर किसने विश्वास किया है? और प्रभु का भुजबल किस पर प्रगट हुआ?”
so that the word spoken by Isaiah the prophet should be fulfilled: “Lord, who has believed what we heard? And to whom has the arm of the Lord really been revealed?”
Therefore they were unable to believe, in that Isaiah said again:
40 ४० “उसने उनकी आँखें अंधी, और उनका मन कठोर किया है; कहीं ऐसा न हो, कि आँखों से देखें, और मन से समझें, और फिरें, और मैं उन्हें चंगा करूँ।”
“He has blinded their eyes and hardened their hearts, lest they should see with their eyes and understand with their hearts and should turn around, and I would heal them.”
Isaiah said these things when he saw His glory and spoke concerning Him.
42 ४२ तो भी सरदारों में से भी बहुतों ने उस पर विश्वास किया, परन्तु फरीसियों के कारण प्रगट में नहीं मानते थे, ऐसा न हो कि आराधनालय में से निकाले जाएँ।
Nevertheless, even among the rulers many believed into Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, so they would not be expelled from the synagogue;
for they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.
44 ४४ यीशु ने पुकारकर कहा, “जो मुझ पर विश्वास करता है, वह मुझ पर नहीं, वरन् मेरे भेजनेवाले पर विश्वास करता है।
Jesus called out and said: “The one believing into me believes not into me but into Him who sent me.
And the one seeing me sees Him who sent me.
I, Light, have come into the world so that everyone who believes into me will not remain in the darkness.
47 ४७ यदि कोई मेरी बातें सुनकर न माने, तो मैं उसे दोषी नहीं ठहराता, क्योंकि मैं जगत को दोषी ठहराने के लिये नहीं, परन्तु जगत का उद्धार करने के लिये आया हूँ।
Also, if someone hears my words and does not believe, I do not judge him; because I did not come to judge the world but to save the world.
48 ४८ जो मुझे तुच्छ जानता है और मेरी बातें ग्रहण नहीं करता है उसको दोषी ठहरानेवाला तो एक है: अर्थात् जो वचन मैंने कहा है, वह अन्तिम दिन में उसे दोषी ठहराएगा।
The one who rejects me and does not receive my sayings has that which judges him—the word that I have spoken, that is what will judge him on the last day;
49 ४९ क्योंकि मैंने अपनी ओर से बातें नहीं की, परन्तु पिता जिसने मुझे भेजा है उसी ने मुझे आज्ञा दी है, कि क्या-क्या कहूँ और क्या-क्या बोलूँ?
because I have not spoken on my own, but the Father who sent me, He gave me a command, what I should say and what I should speak.
