1 १ तब शूही बिल्दद ने कहा,

4 ४ फिर मनुष्य परमेश्वर की दृष्टि में धर्मी कैसे ठहर सकता है? और जो स्त्री से उत्पन्न हुआ है वह कैसे निर्मल हो सकता है?

5 ५ देख, उसकी दृष्टि में चन्द्रमा भी अंधेरा ठहरता, और तारे भी निर्मल नहीं ठहरते।

6 ६ फिर मनुष्य की क्या गिनती जो कीड़ा है, और आदमी कहाँ रहा जो केंचुआ है!”
