अय्यूब 18

1 १ तब शूही बिल्दद ने कहा,

And he answered Bildad the Shuhite and he said.

2 २ “तुम कब तक फंदे लगा लगाकर वचन पकड़ते रहोगे? चित्त लगाओ, तब हम बोलेंगे।

Until when? - will you make! ends of words you will consider and after we will speak.

3 ३ हम लोग तुम्हारी दृष्टि में क्यों पशु के तुल्य समझे जाते, और मूर्ख ठहरे हैं।

Why? are we regarded like cattle are we considered stupid? in view your.

4 ४ हे अपने को क्रोध में फाड़नेवाले क्या तेरे निमित्त पृथ्वी उजड़ जाएगी, और चट्टान अपने स्थान से हट जाएगी?

O [one who] tears self his in anger his ¿ for sake your may it be abandoned [the] earth so it may move? a rock from place its.

5 ५ “तो भी दुष्टों का दीपक बुझ जाएगा, और उसकी आग की लौ न चमकेगी।

Also [the] light of wicked [people] it is extinguished and not it shines [the] flame of fire his.

6 ६ उसके डेरे में का उजियाला अंधेरा हो जाएगा, और उसके ऊपर का दिया बुझ जाएगा।

[the] light It grows dark in tent his and lamp his above him it is extinguished.

7 ७ उसके बड़े-बड़े फाल छोटे हो जाएँगे और वह अपनी ही युक्ति के द्वारा गिरेगा।

They are restricted [the] steps of vigor his and it throws down him own plan[s] his.

8 ८ वह अपना ही पाँव जाल में फँसाएगा, वह फंदों पर चलता है।

For he is caught in a net by feet his and on a network he walks about.

9 ९ उसकी एड़ी फंदे में फँस जाएगी, और वह जाल में पकड़ा जाएगा।

It takes hold on a heel a trap it takes hold on him a snare.

10 १० फंदे की रस्सियाँ उसके लिये भूमि में, और जाल रास्ते में छिपा दिया गया है।

[is] hidden On the ground rope his and trap his on [the] path.

11 ११ चारों ओर से डरावनी वस्तुएँ उसे डराएँगी और उसके पीछे पड़कर उसको भगाएँगी।

All around they terrify him sudden terror and they scatter him to feet his.

12 १२ उसका बल दुःख से घट जाएगा, और विपत्ति उसके पास ही तैयार रहेगी।

It is hungry trouble his and disaster [is] prepared for stumbling his.

13 १३ वह उसके अंग को खा जाएगी, वरन् मृत्यु का पहलौठा उसके अंगों को खा लेगा।

It consumes [the] parts of skin his it consumes parts his [the] firstborn of death.

14 १४ अपने जिस डेरे का भरोसा वह करता है, उससे वह छीन लिया जाएगा; और वह भयंकरता के राजा के पास पहुँचाया जाएगा।

He is torn away from tent his trust his and it makes march him to [the] king of sudden terror.

15 १५ जो उसके यहाँ का नहीं है वह उसके डेरे में वास करेगा, और उसके घर पर गन्धक छितराई जाएगी।

It dwells in tent his because not [belonging] to him it is scattered over estate his sulfur.

16 १६ उसकी जड़ तो सूख जाएगी, और डालियाँ कट जाएँगी।

Beneath roots his they are dried up and above it withers branch[es] his.

17 १७ पृथ्वी पर से उसका स्मरण मिट जाएगा, और बाजार में उसका नाम कभी न सुन पड़ेगा।

Memory his it perishes from [the] earth and not a name [belongs] to him on [the] face of [the] street.

18 १८ वह उजियाले से अंधियारे में ढकेल दिया जाएगा, और जगत में से भी भगाया जाएगा।

People drive him from light into darkness and from [the] world they chase away him.

19 १९ उसके कुटुम्बियों में उसके कोई पुत्र-पौत्र न रहेगा, और जहाँ वह रहता था, वहाँ कोई बचा न रहेगा।

Not posterity [belongs] to him and not progeny [is] among people his and there not [is] a survivor in sojourning-places his.

20 २० उसका दिन देखकर पश्चिम के लोग भयाकुल होंगे, और पूर्व के निवासियों के रोएँ खड़े हो जाएँगे।

On day his they are appalled [those] behind and [those] before they take hold of a shudder.

21 २१ निःसन्देह कुटिल लोगों के निवास ऐसे हो जाते हैं, और जिसको परमेश्वर का ज्ञान नहीं रहता, उसका स्थान ऐसा ही हो जाता है।”

Surely these [are] [the] dwelling places of an evil-doer and this [is the] place of [one who] not he knows God.
