इब्रानियों 1
1 १ पूर्व युग में परमेश्वर ने पूर्वजों से थोड़ा-थोड़ा करके और भाँति-भाँति से भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के द्वारा बातें की,
God, who at sundry times, and various ways, spake of old unto the fathers by the prophets, hath in these last days spoken to us by his Son,
2 २ पर इन अन्तिम दिनों में हम से अपने पुत्र के द्वारा बातें की, जिसे उसने सारी वस्तुओं का वारिस ठहराया और उसी के द्वारा उसने सारी सृष्टि भी रची है। (aiōn g165)
whom He hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also He made the worlds. (aiōn g165)
3 ३ वह उसकी महिमा का प्रकाश, और उसके तत्व की छाप है, और सब वस्तुओं को अपनी सामर्थ्य के वचन से सम्भालता है: वह पापों को धोकर ऊँचे स्थानों पर महामहिमन् के दाहिने जा बैठा।
Who being the refulgence of his glory and the imprest image of his person, and sustaining all things by his powerful word, having by Himself performed the purging away of our sins, sat down at the right hand of the majesty on high.
Being as much superior to the angels, as He inheriteth a name more excellent than they.
5 ५ क्योंकि स्वर्गदूतों में से उसने कब किसी से कहा, “तू मेरा पुत्र है; आज मैं ही ने तुझे जन्माया है?” और फिर यह, “मैं उसका पिता होऊँगा, और वह मेरा पुत्र होगा?”
For to which of the angels did He ever say, "Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee?" and again, "I will be to Him a Father, and He shall be to me a Son?"
and when He again introduceth the First-born into the world, he saith, "And let all the angels of God worship Him."
7 ७ और स्वर्गदूतों के विषय में यह कहता है, “वह अपने दूतों को पवन, और अपने सेवकों को धधकती आग बनाता है।”
And as to the angels He saith, "Who maketh his angels spirits and his ministers a flame of fire:"
8 ८ परन्तु पुत्र के विषय में कहता है, “हे परमेश्वर, तेरा सिंहासन युगानुयुग रहेगा, तेरे राज्य का राजदण्ड न्याय का राजदण्ड है। (aiōn g165)
but to the Son, "Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever; the sceptre of thy kingdom is a sceptre of righteousness: (aiōn g165)
9 ९ तूने धार्मिकता से प्रेम और अधर्म से बैर रखा; इस कारण परमेश्वर, तेरे परमेश्वर, ने तेरे साथियों से बढ़कर हर्षरूपी तेल से तेरा अभिषेक किया।”
thou lovest righteousness and hatest iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thine associates."
And in another place, "Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast founded the earth, and the heavens are the works of thy hands:
they shall perish, but thou remainest; and they shall all grow old as a garment,
12 १२ और तू उन्हें चादर के समान लपेटेगा, और वे वस्त्र के समान बदल जाएँगे: पर तू वही है और तेरे वर्षों का अन्त न होगा।”
and as a mantle wilt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed; but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail."
13 १३ और स्वर्गदूतों में से उसने किस से कब कहा, “तू मेरे दाहिने बैठ, जब तक कि मैं तेरे बैरियों को तेरे पाँवों के नीचे की चौकी न कर दूँ?”
But to which of the angels hath He ever said, "Sit thou at my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?"
14 १४ क्या वे सब परमेश्वर की सेवा टहल करनेवाली आत्माएँ नहीं; जो उद्धार पानेवालों के लिये सेवा करने को भेजी जाती हैं?
Are they not all ministring spirits, sent forth to attend on those who shall be heirs of salvation?
