उत्पत्ति 37
And he dwelt Jacob in [the] land of [the] sojournings of father his in [the] land of Canaan.
2 २ और याकूब के वंश का वृत्तान्त यह है: यूसुफ सत्रह वर्ष का होकर अपने भाइयों के संग भेड़-बकरियों को चराता था; और वह लड़का अपने पिता की पत्नी बिल्हा, और जिल्पा के पुत्रों के संग रहा करता था; और उनकी बुराइयों का समाचार अपने पिता के पास पहुँचाया करता था।
These - [are] [the] accounts of Jacob Joseph [was] a son of seven-teen year[s] he was shepherding with brothers his the flock and he [was] a youth with [the] sons of Bilhah and with [the] sons of Zilpah [the] wives of father his and he brought Joseph report their bad to father their.
3 ३ और इस्राएल अपने सब पुत्रों से बढ़कर यूसुफ से प्रीति रखता था, क्योंकि वह उसके बुढ़ापे का पुत्र था: और उसने उसके लिये रंग-बिरंगा अंगरखा बनवाया।
And Israel he loved Joseph more than all sons his for [was] a son of old age he for him and he made for him a long garment of palms and soles.
4 ४ परन्तु जब उसके भाइयों ने देखा, कि हमारा पिता हम सब भाइयों से अधिक उसी से प्रीति रखता है, तब वे उससे बैर करने लगे और उसके साथ ठीक से बात भी नहीं करते थे।
And they saw brothers his that him he loved father their more than all brothers his and they hated him and not they were able to speak to him to welfare.
And he dreamed Joseph a dream and he told [it] to brothers his and they increased again to hate him.
And he said to them hear please the dream this which I have dreamed.
7 ७ हम लोग खेत में पूले बाँध रहे हैं, और क्या देखता हूँ कि मेरा पूला उठकर सीधा खड़ा हो गया; तब तुम्हारे पूलों ने मेरे पूले को चारों तरफ से घेर लिया और उसे दण्डवत् किया।”
And there! we [were] binding sheaves in [the] middle of the field and there! it arose sheaf my and also it stood upright and there! they gathered round sheaves your and they bowed down to sheaf my.
8 ८ तब उसके भाइयों ने उससे कहा, “क्या सचमुच तू हमारे ऊपर राज्य करेगा? या क्या सचमुच तू हम पर प्रभुता करेगा?” इसलिए वे उसके स्वप्नों और उसकी बातों के कारण उससे और भी अधिक बैर करने लगे।
And they said to him brothers his ¿ really will you reign over us or? certainly will you rule over us and they increased again to hate him on dreams his and on words his.
9 ९ फिर उसने एक और स्वप्न देखा, और अपने भाइयों से उसका भी यह वर्णन किया, “सुनो, मैंने एक और स्वप्न देखा है, कि सूर्य और चन्द्रमा, और ग्यारह तारे मुझे दण्डवत् कर रहे हैं।”
And he dreamed again a dream another and he recounted it to brothers his and he said here! I have dreamed a dream again and there! the sun and the moon and one [plus] ten stars [were] bowing down to me.
10 १० इस स्वप्न का उसने अपने पिता, और भाइयों से वर्णन किया; तब उसके पिता ने उसको डाँटकर कहा, “यह कैसा स्वप्न है जो तूने देखा है? क्या सचमुच मैं और तेरी माता और तेरे भाई सब जाकर तेरे आगे भूमि पर गिरकर दण्डवत् करेंगे?”
And he recounted [it] to father his and to brothers his and he rebuked him father his and he said to him what? [is] the dream this which you have dreamed ¿ really will we come I and mother your and brothers your to bow down to you [the] ground towards.
And they were jealous of him brothers his and father his he kept the matter.
And they went brothers his to pasture [the] flock of father their at Shechem.
13 १३ तब इस्राएल ने यूसुफ से कहा, “तेरे भाई तो शेकेम ही में भेड़-बकरी चरा रहे होंगे, इसलिए जा, मैं तुझे उनके पास भेजता हूँ।” उसने उससे कहा, “जो आज्ञा मैं हाजिर हूँ।”
And he said Israel to Joseph ¿ not [are] brothers your pasturing at Shechem come! and I will send you to them and he said to him here [am] I.
14 १४ उसने उससे कहा, “जा, अपने भाइयों और भेड़-बकरियों का हाल देख आ कि वे कुशल से तो हैं, फिर मेरे पास समाचार ले आ।” अतः उसने उसको हेब्रोन की तराई में विदा कर दिया, और वह शेकेम में आया।
And he said to him go please see [the] welfare of brothers your and [the] welfare of the flock and bring to me word and he sent him from [the] valley of Hebron and he came Shechem towards.
And he found him a man and there! [he was] wandering in the open country and he asked him the man saying what? are you seeking.
16 १६ उसने कहा, “मैं तो अपने भाइयों को ढूँढ़ता हूँ कृपा करके मुझे बता कि वे भेड़-बकरियों को कहाँ चरा रहे हैं?”
And he said brothers my I [am] seeking tell! please to me where? [are] they pasturing.
17 १७ उस मनुष्य ने कहा, “वे तो यहाँ से चले गए हैं; और मैंने उनको यह कहते सुना, ‘आओ, हम दोतान को चलें।’” इसलिए यूसुफ अपने भाइयों के पीछे चला, और उन्हें दोतान में पाया।
And he said the man they have departed from here for I heard [them] saying let us go Dothan towards and he went Joseph after brothers his and he found them at Dothan.
And they saw him from a distance and just before he drew near to them and they dealt deceptively with him to kill him.
And they said each to brother his there! [the] master of dreams this [is] coming.
20 २० इसलिए आओ, हम उसको घात करके किसी गड्ढे में डाल दें, और यह कह देंगे, कि कोई जंगली पशु उसको खा गया। फिर हम देखेंगे कि उसके स्वप्नों का क्या फल होगा।”
And now - come and let us kill him and let us throw him in one of the pits and we will say an animal wild it has eaten him and we may see what? will be dreams his.
And he heard Reuben and he rescued him from hand their and he said not let us strike him life.
22 २२ फिर रूबेन ने उनसे कहा, “लहू मत बहाओ, उसको जंगल के इस गड्ढे में डाल दो, और उस पर हाथ मत उठाओ।” वह उसको उनके हाथ से छुड़ाकर पिता के पास फिर पहुँचाना चाहता था।
And he said to them - Reuben may not you shed blood throw him into the pit this which [is] in the wilderness and a hand may not you stretch out on him so as to rescue him from hand their to restore him to father his.
23 २३ इसलिए ऐसा हुआ कि जब यूसुफ अपने भाइयों के पास पहुँचा तब उन्होंने उसका रंग-बिरंगा अंगरखा, जिसे वह पहने हुए था, उतार लिया।
And it was just when he came Joseph to brothers his and they stripped Joseph long garment his [the] long garment of the palms and soles which [was] on him.
And they took him and they threw him the pit towards and the pit [was] empty there not in it [was] water.
25 २५ तब वे रोटी खाने को बैठ गए; और आँखें उठाकर क्या देखा कि इश्माएलियों का एक दल ऊँटों पर सुगन्ध-द्रव्य, बलसान, और गन्धरस लादे हुए, गिलाद से मिस्र को चला जा रहा है।
And they sat down to eat bread and they lifted up eyes their and they saw and there! a caravan of Ishmaelites [was] coming from Gilead and camels their [were] carrying spice and balm and myrrh traveling to take [them] down Egypt towards.
And he said Judah to brothers his what? [is the] profit if we will kill brother our and we will conceal blood his.
27 २७ आओ, हम उसे इश्माएलियों के हाथ बेच डालें, और अपना हाथ उस पर न उठाएँ, क्योंकि वह हमारा भाई और हमारी ही हड्डी और माँस है।” और उसके भाइयों ने उसकी बात मान ली।
Come and let us sell him to the Ishmaelites and hand our may not it be on him for [is] brother our flesh our he and they listened brothers his.
28 २८ तब मिद्यानी व्यापारी उधर से होकर उनके पास पहुँचे। अतः यूसुफ के भाइयों ने उसको उस गड्ढे में से खींचकर बाहर निकाला, और इश्माएलियों के हाथ चाँदी के बीस टुकड़ों में बेच दिया; और वे यूसुफ को मिस्र में ले गए।
And they passed by men Midianite[s] traders and they drew and they brought up Joseph from the pit and they sold Joseph to the Ishmaelites for twenty silver and they brought Joseph Egypt towards.
And he returned Reuben to the pit and there! not Joseph [was] in the pit and he tore clothes his.
And he returned to brothers his and he said the boy not [is] he and I where? [am] I going.
And they took [the] long garment of Joseph and they slaughtered a male goat of goats and they dipped the long garment in the blood.
32 ३२ और उन्होंने उस रंगबिरंगे अंगरखे को अपने पिता के पास भेजकर यह सन्देश दिया; “यह हमको मिला है, अतः देखकर पहचान ले कि यह तेरे पुत्र का अंगरखा है कि नहीं।”
And they sent [the] long garment of the palms and soles and they brought [it] to father their and they said this we have found investigate please ¿ [the] long garment of son your [is] it or? not.
33 ३३ उसने उसको पहचान लिया, और कहा, “हाँ यह मेरे ही पुत्र का अंगरखा है; किसी दुष्ट पशु ने उसको खा लिया है; निःसन्देह यूसुफ फाड़ डाला गया है।”
And he recognized it and he said [it is] [the] long garment of son my an animal wild it has eaten him certainly he has been torn to pieces Joseph.
34 ३४ तब याकूब ने अपने वस्त्र फाड़े और कमर में टाट लपेटा, और अपने पुत्र के लिये बहुत दिनों तक विलाप करता रहा।
And he tore Jacob clothes his and he put sackcloth on loins his and he mourned on son his days many.
35 ३५ और उसके सब बेटे-बेटियों ने उसको शान्ति देने का यत्न किया; पर उसको शान्ति न मिली; और वह यही कहता रहा, “मैं तो विलाप करता हुआ अपने पुत्र के पास अधोलोक में उतर जाऊँगा।” इस प्रकार उसका पिता उसके लिये रोता ही रहा। (Sheol h7585)
And they arose all sons his and all daughters his to comfort him and he refused to be comforted and he said that I will go down to son my mourning Sheol towards and he wept for him father his. (Sheol h7585)
36 ३६ इस बीच मिद्यानियों ने यूसुफ को मिस्र में ले जाकर पोतीपर नामक, फ़िरौन के एक हाकिम, और अंगरक्षकों के प्रधान, के हाथ बेच डाला।
(And the Medanites *L(E)*) they sold him into Egypt to Potiphar an official of Pharaoh [the] commander of the bodyguards.
