गलातियों 3
1 १ हे निर्बुद्धि गलातियों, किसने तुम्हें मोह लिया? तुम्हारी तो मानो आँखों के सामने यीशु मसीह क्रूस पर दिखाया गया!
O deficient-minded Galatoyee, who bewildereth you? For, behold, as if depicted before your eyes, hath Jeshu the Meshiha been crucified.
2 २ मैं तुम से केवल यह जानना चाहता हूँ, कि तुम ने पवित्र आत्मा को, क्या व्यवस्था के कामों से, या विश्वास के समाचार से पाया?
This only would I know from you: Through the works of the law received you the Spirit, or through the hearing of faith?
Are you so foolish that having begun in the Spirit you are now finishing in the flesh?
And all these have you borne in vain? But would it be in vain?
5 ५ इसलिए जो तुम्हें आत्मा दान करता और तुम में सामर्थ्य के काम करता है, वह क्या व्यवस्था के कामों से या विश्वास के सुसमाचार से ऐसा करता है?
Then, he who imparted to you the Spirit, and wrought miracles among you, (did he so) through the works of the law, or through the hearing of faith?
As Abraham believed Aloha, and it was reckoned to him for righteousness,
know therefore that they who are of faith are the children of Abraham.
8 ८ और पवित्रशास्त्र ने पहले ही से यह जानकर, कि परमेश्वर अन्यजातियों को विश्वास से धर्मी ठहराएगा, पहले ही से अब्राहम को यह सुसमाचार सुना दिया, कि “तुझ में सब जातियाँ आशीष पाएँगी।”
For Aloha who knew before that he would justify the Gentiles through faith, evangelized before unto Abraham; as saith the holy scripture: In thee all the nations shall be blessed:
therefore believers are blessed with Abraham the believer.
10 १० अतः जितने लोग व्यवस्था के कामों पर भरोसा रखते हैं, वे सब श्राप के अधीन हैं, क्योंकि लिखा है, “जो कोई व्यवस्था की पुस्तक में लिखी हुई सब बातों के करने में स्थिर नहीं रहता, वह श्रापित है।”
For they who are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one who doeth not all that is written in this law.
11 ११ पर यह बात प्रगट है, कि व्यवस्था के द्वारा परमेश्वर के यहाँ कोई धर्मी नहीं ठहरता क्योंकि धर्मी जन विश्वास से जीवित रहेगा।
But that man is not justified by the law before Aloha, this maketh manifest: because it is written, The just by faith shall live.
But the law is not of faith: but he who doeth those things that are written in it shall live by them.
13 १३ मसीह ने जो हमारे लिये श्रापित बना, हमें मोल लेकर व्यवस्था के श्राप से छुड़ाया क्योंकि लिखा है, “जो कोई काठ पर लटकाया जाता है वह श्रापित है।”
But us hath the Meshiha bought from the curse of the law, and hath been made a curse instead of us: for it is written, Accursed is every one who is hanged on the wood:
14 १४ यह इसलिए हुआ, कि अब्राहम की आशीष मसीह यीशु में अन्यजातियों तक पहुँचे, और हम विश्वास के द्वारा उस आत्मा को प्राप्त करें, जिसकी प्रतिज्ञा हुई है।
in order that upon the nations there might be the blessing of Abraham in Jeshu the Meshiha, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
15 १५ हे भाइयों, मैं मनुष्य की रीति पर कहता हूँ, कि मनुष्य की वाचा भी जो पक्की हो जाती है, तो न कोई उसे टालता है और न उसमें कुछ बढ़ाता है।
My brethren, I speak as among men: That a covenant of man because confirmed no one rejecteth, or changeth in any thing.
16 १६ अतः प्रतिज्ञाएँ अब्राहम को, और उसके वंश को दी गईं; वह यह नहीं कहता, “वंशों को,” जैसे बहुतों के विषय में कहा, पर जैसे एक के विषय में कि “तेरे वंश को” और वह मसीह है।
But to Abraham was promised the promise, and to his seed. And he did not say to him, Unto thy seeds, as of many; but, To thy seed, as of one, him, (namely, ) who is the Meshiha.
17 १७ पर मैं यह कहता हूँ कि जो वाचा परमेश्वर ने पहले से पक्की की थी, उसको व्यवस्था चार सौ तीस वर्षों के बाद आकर नहीं टाल सकती, कि प्रतिज्ञा व्यर्थ ठहरे।
But I say this, that the covenant which was confirmed before by Aloha, in the Meshiha, the law which was after, four hundred and thirty years, cannot nullify, nor (can it) abolish the promise.
18 १८ क्योंकि यदि विरासत व्यवस्था से मिली है, तो फिर प्रतिज्ञा से नहीं, परन्तु परमेश्वर ने अब्राहम को प्रतिज्ञा के द्वारा दे दी है।
But if the inheritance was by the law, it could not have been by the promise; but Aloha gave it unto Abraham by promise.
19 १९ तब फिर व्यवस्था क्या रही? वह तो अपराधों के कारण बाद में दी गई, कि उस वंश के आने तक रहे, जिसको प्रतिज्ञा दी गई थी, और व्यवस्था स्वर्गदूतों के द्वारा एक मध्यस्थ के हाथ ठहराई गई।
Wherefore then was the law? It was added on account of transgression, until the Seed should come, he, of whom was the promise; and the law was given by angels into the hand of a Mediator.
But a Mediator is not of one; but Aloha is one.
21 २१ तो क्या व्यवस्था परमेश्वर की प्रतिज्ञाओं के विरोध में है? कदापि नहीं! क्योंकि यदि ऐसी व्यवस्था दी जाती जो जीवन दे सकती, तो सचमुच धार्मिकता व्यवस्था से होती।
Is the law therefore against the promise of Aloha? Impossible: for if a law had been given which could make to live, certainly righteousness would have been by the law.
22 २२ परन्तु पवित्रशास्त्र ने सब को पाप के अधीन कर दिया, ताकि वह प्रतिज्ञा जिसका आधार यीशु मसीह पर विश्वास करना है, विश्वास करनेवालों के लिये पूरी हो जाए।
But the scripture hath included all under sin, that the promise through faith of Jeshu Meshiha might be given to them who believe.
23 २३ पर विश्वास के आने से पहले व्यवस्था की अधीनता में हम कैद थे, और उस विश्वास के आने तक जो प्रगट होनेवाला था, हम उसी के बन्धन में रहे।
But until (the dispensation of) faith came, the law kept us, as shut up unto the faith which was to be revealed.
The law therefore was our conductor to the Meshiha, that we might be justified by faith.
But faith being come, we are not under the conductor.
For you are all the children of Aloha through the faith of Jeshu the Meshiha.
For they who into the Meshiha are baptized have been clothed with the Meshiha.
28 २८ अब न कोई यहूदी रहा और न यूनानी; न कोई दास, न स्वतंत्र; न कोई नर, न नारी; क्योंकि तुम सब मसीह यीशु में एक हो।
Jihudoya or Aramoya is not; the slave or the free is not; male or female is not; for you are all one in Jeshu Meshiha.
And if you are of the Meshiha, therefore are you the seed of Abraham, and heirs by the promise.
