यहेजकेल 5
1 १ “हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, एक पैनी तलवार ले, और उसे नाई के उस्तरे के काम में लाकर अपने सिर और दाढ़ी के बाल मुँण्ड़ डाल; तब तौलने का काँटा लेकर बालों के भागकर।
“And as for you, son of man, obtain for yourself a sharp knife for shaving hair, and you shall take it and draw it across your head and across your beard. And you shall obtain for yourself a balance for weighing, and you shall divide the hair.
2 २ जब नगर के घिरने के दिन पूरे हों, तब नगर के भीतर एक तिहाई आग में डालकर जलाना; और एक तिहाई लेकर चारों ओर तलवार से मारना; और एक तिहाई को पवन में उड़ाना, और मैं तलवार खींचकर उसके पीछे चलाऊँगा।
A third part you shall burn with fire in the midst of the city, according to the completion of the days of the siege. And you shall take a third part, and you shall cut it with the knife all around. Yet truly, the other third, you shall scatter to the wind, for I will unsheathe the sword after them.
And you shall take from there a small number. And you shall bind them in the end of your cloak.
4 ४ फिर उनमें से भी थोड़े से लेकर आग के बीच डालना कि वे आग में जल जाएँ; तब उसी में से एक लौ भड़ककर इस्राएल के सारे घराने में फैल जाएगी।
And again, you shall take from them, and you shall throw them into the midst of the fire, and you shall burn them with fire. And from it, there shall go forth a fire to the entire house of Israel.”
5 ५ “प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है: यरूशलेम ऐसी ही है; मैंने उसको अन्यजातियों के बीच में ठहराया, और वह चारों ओर देशों से घिरी है।
Thus says the Lord God: “This is Jerusalem. I have placed her in the midst of the Gentiles and of the lands all around her.
6 ६ उसने मेरे नियमों के विरुद्ध काम करके अन्यजातियों से अधिक दुष्टता की, और मेरी विधियों के विरुद्ध चारों ओर के देशों के लोगों से अधिक बुराई की है; क्योंकि उन्होंने मेरे नियम तुच्छ जाने, और वे मेरी विधियों पर नहीं चले।
And she has despised my judgments, so as to be more impious than the Gentiles, and my precepts, more so than the lands that are all around her. For they have cast aside my judgments, and they have not walked in my precepts.”
7 ७ इस कारण प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है, तुम लोग जो अपने चारों ओर की जातियों से अधिक हुल्लड़ मचाते, और न मेरी विधियों पर चलते, न मेरे नियमों को मानते और अपने चारों ओर की जातियों के नियमों के अनुसार भी न किया,
For this reason, thus says the Lord God: “Since you have surpassed the Gentiles who are all around you, and have not walked in my precepts, and have not accomplished my judgments, and have not even acted in accord with the judgments of the Gentiles who are all around you:
8 ८ इस कारण प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है: देख, मैं स्वयं तेरे विरुद्ध हूँ; और अन्यजातियों के देखते मैं तेरे बीच न्याय के काम करूँगा।
therefore, thus says the Lord God: Behold, I am against you, and I myself will accomplish judgments in your midst, in the sight of the Gentiles.
9 ९ तेरे सब घिनौने कामों के कारण मैं तेरे बीच ऐसा करूँगा, जैसा न अब तक किया है, और न भविष्य में फिर करूँगा।
And I will do in you what I have not done before, and the likes of which I will not do again, because of all your abominations.
10 १० इसलिए तेरे बीच बच्चे अपने-अपने बाप का, और बाप अपने-अपने बच्चों का माँस खाएँगे; और मैं तुझको दण्ड दूँगा,
Therefore, the fathers shall consume the sons in your midst, and the sons shall consume their fathers. And I will execute judgments in you, and I will winnow your entire remnant in every wind.
11 ११ और तेरे सब बचे हुओं को चारों ओर तितर-बितर करूँगा। इसलिए प्रभु यहोवा की यह वाणी है, कि मेरे जीवन की सौगन्ध, इसलिए कि तूने मेरे पवित्रस्थान को अपनी सारी घिनौनी मूरतों और सारे घिनौने कामों से अशुद्ध किया है, मैं तुझे घटाऊँगा, और तुझ पर दया की दृष्टि न करूँगा, और तुझ पर कुछ भी कोमलता न करूँगा।
Therefore, as I myself live says the Lord God, because you have violated my sanctuary with all your offenses and with all your abominations, I also will break into pieces, and my eye will not be lenient, and I will not take pity.
12 १२ तेरी एक तिहाई तो मरी से मरेगी, और तेरे बीच भूख से मर मिटेगी; एक तिहाई तेरे आस-पास तलवार से मारी जाएगी; और एक तिहाई को मैं चारों ओर तितर-बितर करूँगा और तलवार खींचकर उनके पीछे चलाऊँगा।
One third part of you will die by pestilence or be consumed by famine in your midst. And one third part of you will fall by the sword all around you. Yet truly, one third part of you I will scatter to every wind, and I will unsheathe the sword after them.
13 १३ “इस प्रकार से मेरा कोप शान्त होगा, और अपनी जलजलाहट उन पर पूरी रीति से भड़काकर मैं शान्ति पाऊँगा; और जब मैं अपनी जलजलाहट उन पर पूरी रीति से भड़का चुकूँ, तब वे जान लेंगे कि मुझ यहोवा ही ने जलन में आकर यह कहा है।
And I will fulfill my fury, and I will cause my indignation to rest upon them, and I will be consoled. And they shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken in my zeal, when I will have fulfilled my indignation in them.
14 १४ मैं तुझे तेरे चारों ओर की जातियों के बीच, सब आने-जानेवालों के देखते हुए उजाड़ूँगा, और तेरी नामधराई कराऊँगा।
And I will make you desolate, and a disgrace among the Gentiles, who are all around you, in the sight of all who pass by.
15 १५ इसलिए जब मैं तुझको कोप और जलजलाहट और क्रोध दिलानेवाली घुड़कियों के साथ दण्ड दूँगा, तब तेरे चारों ओर की जातियों के सामने नामधराई, ठट्ठा, शिक्षा और विस्मय होगा, क्योंकि मुझ यहोवा ने यह कहा है।
And you shall be a disgrace and a blasphemy, an example and an astonishment, among the Gentiles, who are all around you, when I will have executed judgments in you, in fury and in indignation and with rebukes of wrath.
16 १६ यह उस समय होगा, जब मैं उन लोगों को नाश करने के लिये तुम पर अकाल के तीखे तीर चलाकर, तुम्हारे बीच अकाल बढ़ाऊँगा, और तुम्हारे अन्नरूपी आधार को दूर करूँगा।
I, the Lord, have spoken. At that time, I will send among them the most grievous arrows of famine, which shall bring death, and which I will send so that I may destroy you. And I will gather a famine over you, and I will crush the staff of bread among you.
17 १७ और मैं तुम्हारे बीच अकाल और दुष्ट जन्तु भेजूँगा जो तुम्हें निःसन्तान करेंगे; और मरी और खून तुम्हारे बीच चलते रहेंगे; और मैं तुम पर तलवार चलवाऊँगा, मुझ यहोवा ने यह कहा है।”
And I will send among you famine and very harmful beasts, even unto utter ruin. And pestilence and blood shall pass through you. And I will bring the sword over you. I, the Lord, have spoken.”
