And there is a word of YHWH to me, saying, “Son of man,
Two women were daughters of one mother,
3 ३ वे अपने बचपन ही में वेश्या का काम मिस्र में करने लगी; उनकी छातियाँ कुँवारेपन में पहले वहीं मींजी गई और उनका मरदन भी हुआ।
And they go whoring in Egypt, They have gone whoring in their youth, There they have bruised their breasts, And there they have dealt with the loves of their virginity.
4 ४ उन लड़कियों में से बड़ी का नाम ओहोला और उसकी बहन का नाम ओहोलीबा था। वे मेरी हो गई, और उनके पुत्र पुत्रियाँ उत्पन्न हुईं। उनके नामों में से ओहोला तो सामरिया, और ओहोलीबा यरूशलेम है।
And their names [are] Aholah the older, And Aholibah her sister, And they are Mine, and bear sons and daughters. As for their names—Samaria [is] Aholah, And Jerusalem [is] Aholibah.
5 ५ “ओहोला जब मेरी थी, तब ही व्यभिचारिणी होकर अपने मित्रों पर मोहित होने लगी जो उसके पड़ोसी अश्शूरी थे।
And Aholah goes whoring under Me, and she lusts on her lovers, on the neighboring Assyrians,
Clothed with blue—governors and prefects, All of them desirable young men, Horsemen, riding on horses,
7 ७ इसलिए उसने उन्हीं के साथ व्यभिचार किया जो सब के सब सर्वोत्तम अश्शूरी थे; और जिस किसी पर वह मोहित हुई, उसी की मूरतों से वह अशुद्ध हुई।
And she gives her whoredoms on them, The choice of the sons of Asshur, All of them—even all on whom she lusted, She has been defiled by all their idols.
8 ८ जो व्यभिचार उसने मिस्र में सीखा था, उसको भी उसने न छोड़ा; क्योंकि बचपन में मनुष्यों ने उसके साथ कुकर्म किया, और उसकी छातियाँ मींजी, और तन-मन से उसके साथ व्यभिचार किया गया था।
And she has not forsaken her whoredoms out of Egypt, For with her they lay in her youth, And they dealt with the loves of her virginity, And they pour out their whoredoms on her.
Therefore I have given her into the hand of her lovers, Into the hand of sons of Asshur on whom she lusted.
10 १० उन्होंने उसको नंगी किया; उसके पुत्र-पुत्रियाँ छीनकर उसको तलवार से घात किया; इस प्रकार उनके हाथ से दण्ड पाकर वह स्त्रियों में प्रसिद्ध हो गई।
They have uncovered her nakedness, They have taken her sons and her daughters, And they have slain her by sword, And she is a name for women, And they have done judgments with her.
11 ११ “उसकी बहन ओहोलीबा ने यह देखा, तो भी वह मोहित होकर व्यभिचार करने में अपनी बहन से भी अधिक बढ़ गई।
And her sister Aholibah sees, And she makes her unhealthy love more corrupt than she, And her whoredoms than the whoredoms of her sister.
12 १२ वह अपने अश्शूरी पड़ोसियों पर मोहित होती थी, जो सब के सब अति सुन्दर वस्त्र पहननेवाले और घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने, जवान अधिपति और सब प्रकार के प्रधान थे।
She has lusted on sons of Asshur, Governors and prefects, Neighboring ones—clothed in perfection, Horsemen, riding on horses, All of them desirable young men.
And I see that she has been defiled, One way [is] to them both.
14 १४ परन्तु ओहोलीबा अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई; अतः जब उसने दीवार पर सेंदूर से खींचे हुए ऐसे कसदी पुरुषों के चित्र देखे,
And she adds to her whoredoms, And she sees men carved on the wall, Pictures of Chaldeans, carved with vermillion,
15 १५ जो कमर में फेंटे बाँधे हुए, सिर में छोर लटकती हुई रंगीली पगड़ियाँ पहने हुए, और सब के सब अपनी कसदी जन्म-भूमि अर्थात् बाबेल के लोगों की रीति पर प्रधानों का रूप धरे हुए थे,
Girded with a girdle on their loins, Dyed attire spread out on their heads, The appearance of rulers—all of them, The likeness of sons of Babylon, Chaldea is the land of their birth.
And she lusts on them at the sight of her eyes, And sends messengers to them, to Chaldea.
17 १७ इसलिए बाबेली उसके पास पलंग पर आए, और उसके साथ व्यभिचार करके उसे अशुद्ध किया; और जब वह उनसे अशुद्ध हो गई, तब उसका मन उनसे फिर गया।
And sons of Babylon come in to her, To the bed of loves, And they defile her with their whoredoms, And she is defiled with them, And her soul is alienated from them.
18 १८ तो भी जब वह तन उघाड़ती और व्यभिचार करती गई, तब मेरा मन जैसे उसकी बहन से फिर गया था, वैसे ही उससे भी फिर गया।
And she reveals her whoredoms, And she reveals her nakedness, And My soul is alienated from off her, As My soul was alienated from off her sister.
19 १९ इस पर भी वह मिस्र देश के अपने बचपन के दिन स्मरण करके जब वह वेश्या का काम करती थी, और अधिक व्यभिचार करती गई;
And she multiplies her whoredoms, To remember the days of her youth, When she went whoring in the land of Egypt.
And she lusts on their lovers, Whose flesh [is] the flesh of donkeys, And the emission of horses—their emission.
21 २१ तू इस प्रकार से अपने बचपन के उस समय के महापाप का स्मरण कराती है जब मिस्री लोग तेरी छातियाँ मींजते थे।”
You look after the wickedness of your youth, In dealing out of Egypt your loves, For the sake of the breasts of your youth.
22 २२ इस कारण हे ओहोलीबा, परमेश्वर यहोवा तुझ से यह कहता है: “देख, मैं तेरे मित्रों को उभारकर जिनसे तेरा मन फिर गया चारों ओर से तेरे विरुद्ध ले आऊँगा।
Therefore, O Aholibah, thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am stirring up your lovers against you, From whom your soul has been alienated, And have brought them in against you from all around.
23 २३ अर्थात् बाबेली और सब कसदियों को, और पकोद, शोया और कोआ के लोगों को; और उनके साथ सब अश्शूरियों को लाऊँगा जो सब के सब घोड़ों के सवार मनभावने जवान अधिपति, और कई प्रकार के प्रतिनिधि, प्रधान और नामी पुरुष हैं।
Sons of Babylon, and of all Chaldea, Pekod, and Shoa, and Koa, All the sons of Asshur with them, Desirable young men, governors and prefects, All of them—rulers and proclaimed ones, All of them riding on horses.
24 २४ वे लोग हथियार, रथ, छकड़े और देश-देश के लोगों का दल लिए हुए तुझ पर चढ़ाई करेंगे; और ढाल और फरी और टोप धारण किए हुए तेरे विरुद्ध चारों ओर पाँति बाँधेंगे; और मैं उन्हीं के हाथ न्याय का काम सौंपूँगा, और वे अपने-अपने नियम के अनुसार तेरा न्याय करेंगे।
And they have come in against you, With arms, rider, and wheel, And with an assembly of peoples; Buckler, and shield, and helmet, They set against you all around, And I have set judgment before them, They have judged you in their judgments.
25 २५ मैं तुझ पर जलूँगा, जिससे वे जलजलाहट के साथ तुझ से बर्ताव करेंगे। वे तेरी नाक और कान काट लेंगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा वह तलवार से मारा जाएगा। वे तेरे पुत्र-पुत्रियों को छीन ले जाएँगे, और तेरा जो भी बचा रहेगा, वह आग से भस्म हो जाएगा।
And I have set My jealousy against you, And they have dealt with you in fury, They turn aside your nose and your ears, And your posterity falls by sword, They take away your sons and your daughters, And your posterity is devoured by fire.
And they have stripped you of your garments, And have taken your beautiful jewels.
27 २७ इस रीति से मैं तेरा महापाप और जो वेश्या का काम तूने मिस्र देश में सीखा था, उसे भी तुझ से छुड़ाऊँगा, यहाँ तक कि तू फिर अपनी आँख उनकी ओर न लगाएगी और न मिस्र देश को फिर स्मरण करेगी।
And I have caused your wickedness to cease from you, And your whoredoms out of the land of Egypt, And you do not lift up your eyes to them, And you do not remember Egypt again.
28 २८ क्योंकि प्रभु यहोवा तुझ से यह कहता है: देख, मैं तुझे उनके हाथ सौंपूँगा जिनसे तू बैर रखती है और जिनसे तेरा मन फिर गया है;
For thus said Lord YHWH: Behold, I am giving you into a hand that you have hated, Into a hand from which you were alienated.
29 २९ और वे तुझ से बैर के साथ बर्ताव करेंगे, और तेरी सारी कमाई को उठा लेंगे, और तुझे नंगा करके छोड़ देंगे, और तेरे तन के उघाड़े जाने से तेरा व्यभिचार और महापाप प्रगट हो जाएगा।
And they have dealt with you in hatred, And they have taken all your labor, And they have left you naked and bare, And the nakedness of your whoredoms has been revealed, And the wickedness of your whoredoms.
30 ३० ये काम तुझ से इस कारण किए जाएँगे क्योंकि तू अन्यजातियों के पीछे व्यभिचारिणी के समान हो गई, और उनकी मूर्तियों को पूजकर अशुद्ध हो गई है।
To do these things to you, In your going whoring after nations, Because you have been defiled with their idols,
You have walked in the way of your sister, And I have given her cup into your hand.
32 ३२ प्रभु यहोवा यह कहता है, अपनी बहन के कटोरे से तुझे पीना पड़ेगा जो गहरा और चौड़ा है; तू हँसी और उपहास में उड़ाई जाएगी, क्योंकि उस कटोरे में बहुत कुछ समाता है।
Thus said Lord YHWH: You drink the cup of your sister, The deep and the wide one (You are for laughter and for scorn), Abundant to contain.
33 ३३ तू मतवालेपन और दुःख से छक जाएगी। तू अपनी बहन सामरिया के कटोरे को, अर्थात् विस्मय और उजाड़ को पीकर छक जाएगी।
You are filled with drunkenness and sorrow, A cup of astonishment and desolation, The cup of your sister Samaria.
34 ३४ उसमें से तू गार-गारकर पीएगी, और उसके ठीकरों को भी चबाएगी और अपनी छातियाँ घायल करेगी; क्योंकि मैं ही ने ऐसा कहा है, प्रभु यहोवा की यही वाणी है।
And you have drunk it, and have drained [it], And you gnaw its earthen ware, And you pluck off your own breasts, For I have spoken, A declaration of Lord YHWH,
35 ३५ तूने जो मुझे भुला दिया है और अपना मुँह मुझसे फेर लिया है, इसलिए तू आप ही अपने महापाप और व्यभिचार का भार उठा, परमेश्वर यहोवा का यही वचन है।”
Therefore, thus said Lord YHWH: Because you have forgotten Me, And you cast Me behind your back, Even you also bear your wickedness and your whoredoms.”
36 ३६ यहोवा ने मुझसे कहा, “हे मनुष्य के सन्तान, क्या तू ओहोला और ओहोलीबा का न्याय करेगा? तो फिर उनके घिनौने काम उन्हें जता दे।
And YHWH says to me, “Son of man, Do you judge Aholah and Aholibah? Then declare their abominations to them.
37 ३७ क्योंकि उन्होंने व्यभिचार किया है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है; उन्होंने अपनी मूरतों के साथ व्यभिचार किया, और अपने बच्चों को जो मुझसे उत्पन्न हुए थे, उन मूरतों के आगे भस्म होने के लिये चढ़ाए हैं।
For they have committed adultery, And blood [is] in their hands, They committed adultery with their idols, And also their sons whom they bore to Me, They caused to pass over to them for food.
38 ३८ फिर उन्होंने मुझसे ऐसा बर्ताव भी किया कि उसी के साथ मेरे पवित्रस्थान को भी अशुद्ध किया और मेरे विश्रामदिनों को अपवित्र किया है।
Again, they have done this to Me, They defiled My sanctuary in that day, And they have defiled My Sabbaths.
39 ३९ वे अपने बच्चे अपनी मूरतों के सामने बलि चढ़ाकर उसी दिन मेरा पवित्रस्थान अपवित्र करने को उसमें घुसीं। देख, उन्होंने इस भाँति का काम मेरे भवन के भीतर किया है।
And in their slaughtering their sons to their idols They also come into My sanctuary in that day to defile it, And behold, thus they have done in the midst of My house,
40 ४० उन्होंने दूर से पुरुषों को बुलवा भेजा, और वे चले भी आए। उनके लिये तू नहा धो, आँखों में अंजन लगा, गहने पहनकर;
And also that they send to men coming from afar, To whom a messenger is sent, And behold, they have come in for whom you have washed, Painted your eyes, and put on adornment.
41 ४१ सुन्दर पलंग पर बैठी रही; और तेरे सामने एक मेज बिछी हुई थी, जिस पर तूने मेरा धूप और मेरा तेल रखा था।
And you have sat on a couch of honor, And a table arrayed before it, And placed My incense and My oil on it.
42 ४२ तब उसके साथ निश्चिन्त लोगों की भीड़ का कोलाहल सुन पड़ा, और उन साधारण लोगों के पास जंगल से बुलाए हुए पियक्कड़ लोग भी थे; उन्होंने उन दोनों बहनों के हाथों में चूड़ियाँ पहनाई, और उनके सिरों पर शोभायमान मुकुट रखे।
And the voice of a multitude at ease [is] with her, And Sabeans from the wilderness are brought in to men of the common people, And they put bracelets on their hands, And a beautiful crown on their heads.
43 ४३ “तब जो व्यभिचार करते-करते बुढ़िया हो गई थी, उसके विषय में बोल उठा, अब तो वे उसी के साथ व्यभिचार करेंगे।
And I say of the worn-out one in adulteries, Now they commit her whoredoms—she also!
44 ४४ क्योंकि वे उसके पास ऐसे गए जैसे लोग वेश्या के पास जाते हैं। वैसे ही वे ओहोला और ओहोलीबा नामक महापापिनी स्त्रियों के पास गए।
And they come in to her, As the coming in to a whorish woman, So they have come in to Aholah, And to Aholibah—the wicked women.
45 ४५ अतः धर्मी लोग व्यभिचारिणियों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणियों और हत्यारों के योग्य उसका न्याय करें; क्योंकि वे व्यभिचारिणी है, और उनके हाथों में खून लगा है।”
As for righteous men, they judge them with the judgment of adulteresses, And the judgment of women shedding blood, For they [are] adulteresses, And blood [is] in their hands.
46 ४६ इस कारण परमेश्वर यहोवा यह कहता है: “मैं एक भीड़ से उन पर चढ़ाई कराकर उन्हें ऐसा करूँगा कि वे मारी-मारी फिरेंगी और लूटी जाएँगी।
For thus said Lord YHWH: Bring up an assembly against them, And give them to trembling and to spoiling.
47 ४७ उस भीड़ के लोग उनको पथराव करके उन्हें अपनी तलवारों से काट डालेंगे, तब वे उनके पुत्र-पुत्रियों को घात करके उनके घर भी आग लगाकर फूँक देंगे।
And they have cast the stone of the assembly at them, And cut them with their swords, They slay their sons and their daughters, And they burn their houses with fire.
48 ४८ इस प्रकार मैं महापाप को देश में से दूर करूँगा, और सब स्त्रियाँ शिक्षा पाकर तुम्हारा सा महापाप करने से बची रहेगी।
And I have caused wickedness to cease from the land, And all the women have been instructed, And they do not do according to your wickedness.
49 ४९ तुम्हारा महापाप तुम्हारे ही सिर पड़ेगा; और तुम निश्चय अपनी मूरतों की पूजा के पापों का भार उठाओगे; और तब तुम जान लोगे कि मैं परमेश्वर यहोवा हूँ।”
And they have put your wickedness on you, And you bear the sins of your idols, And you have known that I [am] Lord YHWH!”
