2 राजा 3
1 १ यहूदा के राजा यहोशापात के राज्य के अठारहवें वर्ष में अहाब का पुत्र यहोराम सामरिया में राज्य करने लगा, और बारह वर्ष तक राज्य करता रहा।

2 २ उसने वह किया जो यहोवा की दृष्टि में बुरा था तो भी उसने अपने माता-पिता के बराबर नहीं किया वरन् अपने पिता की बनवाई हुई बाल के स्तम्भ को दूर किया।
and to make: do [the] bad: evil in/on/with eye: seeing LORD except not like/as father his and like/as mother his and to turn aside: remove [obj] pillar [the] Baal which to make father his
3 ३ तो भी वह नबात के पुत्र यारोबाम के ऐसे पापों में जैसे उसने इस्राएल से भी कराए लिपटा रहा और उनसे न फिरा।

4 ४ मोआब का राजा मेशा बहुत सी भेड़-बकरियाँ रखता था, और इस्राएल के राजा को एक लाख बच्चे और एक लाख मेढ़ों का ऊन कर की रीति से दिया करता था।
and Mesha king Moab to be shepherd and to return: return to/for king Israel hundred thousand ram and hundred thousand ram wool
and to be like/as death Ahab and to transgress king Moab in/on/with king Israel

7 ७ और उसने जाकर यहूदा के राजा यहोशापात के पास यह सन्देश भेजा, “मोआब के राजा ने मुझसे बलवा किया है, क्या तू मेरे संग मोआब से लड़ने को चलेगा?” उसने कहा, “हाँ मैं चलूँगा, जैसा तू वैसा मैं, जैसी तेरी प्रजा वैसी मेरी प्रजा, और जैसे तेरे घोड़े वैसे मेरे भी घोड़े हैं।”

9 ९ तब इस्राएल का राजा, और यहूदा का राजा, और एदोम का राजा चले और जब सात दिन तक घूमकर चल चुके, तब सेना और उसके पीछे-पीछे चलनेवाले पशुओं के लिये कुछ पानी न मिला।

10 १० और इस्राएल के राजा ने कहा, “हाय! यहोवा ने इन तीन राजाओं को इसलिए इकट्ठा किया, कि उनको मोआब के हाथ में कर दे।”

11 ११ परन्तु यहोशापात ने कहा, “क्या यहाँ यहोवा का कोई नबी नहीं है, जिसके द्वारा हम यहोवा से पूछें?” इस्राएल के राजा के किसी कर्मचारी ने उत्तर देकर कहा, “हाँ, शापात का पुत्र एलीशा जो एलिय्याह के हाथों को धुलाया करता था वह तो यहाँ है।”
and to say Jehoshaphat nothing here prophet to/for LORD and to seek [obj] LORD from [obj] him and to answer one from servant/slave king Israel and to say here Elisha son: child Shaphat which to pour: pour water upon hand Elijah
12 १२ तब यहोशापात ने कहा, “उसके पास यहोवा का वचन पहुँचा करता है।” तब इस्राएल का राजा और यहोशापात और एदोम का राजा उसके पास गए।
and to say Jehoshaphat there [obj] him word LORD and to go down to(wards) him king Israel and Jehoshaphat and king Edom
13 १३ तब एलीशा ने इस्राएल के राजा से कहा, “मेरा तुझ से क्या काम है? अपने पिता के भविष्यद्वक्ताओं और अपनी माता के नबियों के पास जा।” इस्राएल के राजा ने उससे कहा, “ऐसा न कह, क्योंकि यहोवा ने इन तीनों राजाओं को इसलिए इकट्ठा किया, कि इनको मोआब के हाथ में कर दे।”

14 १४ एलीशा ने कहा, “सेनाओं का यहोवा जिसके सम्मुख मैं उपस्थित रहा करता हूँ, उसके जीवन की शपथ यदि मैं यहूदा के राजा यहोशापात का आदरमान न करता, तो मैं न तो तेरी ओर मुँह करता और न तुझ पर दृष्टि करता।
and to say Elisha alive LORD Hosts which to stand: stand to/for face: before his for unless face of Jehoshaphat king Judah I to lift: kindness if: surely no to look to(wards) you and if: surely no to see: see you
and now to take: bring to/for me to play and to be like/as to play [the] to play and to be upon him hand: power LORD

17 १७ क्योंकि यहोवा यह कहता है, ‘तुम्हारे सामने न तो वायु चलेगी, और न वर्षा होगी; तो भी यह नदी पानी से भर जाएगी; और अपने गाय बैलों और पशुओं समेत तुम पीने पाओगे।
for thus to say LORD not to see: see spirit: breath and not to see: see rain and [the] torrent: valley [the] he/she/it to fill water and to drink you(m. p.) and livestock your and animal your
and to lighten this in/on/with eye: seeing LORD and to give: give [obj] Moab in/on/with hand: power your
19 १९ तब तुम सब गढ़वाले और उत्तम नगरों को नाश करना, और सब अच्छे वृक्षों को काट डालना, और जल के सब सोतों को भर देना, और सब अच्छे खेतों में पत्थर फेंककर उन्हें बिगाड़ देना।’”
and to smite all city fortification and all city choice and all tree pleasant to fall: fell(trees) and all spring water to close and all [the] portion [the] pleasant to pain in/on/with stone
and to be in/on/with morning like/as to ascend: offer up [the] offering and behold water to come (in): come from way: direction Edom and to fill [the] land: country/planet [obj] [the] water
21 २१ यह सुनकर कि राजाओं ने हम से युद्ध करने के लिये चढ़ाई की है, जितने मोआबियों की अवस्था हथियार बाँधने योग्य थी, वे सब बुलाकर इकट्ठे किए गए, और सीमा पर खड़े हुए।
and all Moab to hear: hear for to ascend: rise [the] king to/for to fight in/on/with them and to cry from all to gird belt and above [to] and to stand: stand upon [the] border: boundary
22 २२ सवेरे को जब वे उठे उस समय सूर्य की किरणें उस जल पर ऐसी पड़ीं कि वह मोआबियों के सामने की ओर से लहू सा लाल दिखाई पड़ा।
and to rise in/on/with morning and [the] sun to rise upon [the] water and to see: see Moab from before [obj] [the] water red like/as blood
23 २३ तो वे कहने लगे, “वह तो लहू होगा, निःसन्देह वे राजा एक दूसरे को मारकर नाश हो गए हैं, इसलिए अब हे मोआबियों लूट लेने को जाओ।”
and to say blood this to slay to slay [the] king and to smite man: anyone [obj] neighbor his and now to/for spoil Moab
24 २४ और जब वे इस्राएल की छावनी के पास आए ही थे, कि इस्राएली उठकर मोआबियों को मारने लगे और वे उनके सामने से भाग गए; और वे मोआब को मारते-मारते उनके देश में पहुँच गए।
and to come (in): come to(wards) camp Israel and to arise: rise Israel and to smite [obj] Moab and to flee from face: before their (and to smite *Q(K)*) in/on/with her and to smite [obj] Moab
25 २५ और उन्होंने नगरों को ढा दिया, और सब अच्छे खेतों में एक-एक पुरुष ने अपना-अपना पत्थर डालकर उन्हें भर दिया; और जल के सब सोतों को भर दिया; और सब अच्छे-अच्छे वृक्षों को काट डाला, यहाँ तक कि कीरहरासत के पत्थर तो रह गए, परन्तु उसको भी चारों ओर गोफन चलानेवालों ने जाकर मारा।
and [the] city to overthrow and all portion pleasant to throw man: anyone stone his and to fill her and all spring water to close and all tree pleasant to fall: fell(trees) till to remain stone her in/on/with Kir-hareseth Kir-hareseth and to turn: surround [the] slinger and to smite her
26 २६ यह देखकर कि हम युद्ध में हार चले, मोआब के राजा ने सात सौ तलवार रखनेवाले पुरुष संग लेकर एदोम के राजा तक पाँति चीरकर पहुँचने का यत्न किया परन्तु पहुँच न सका।
and to see: see king Moab for to strengthen: prevail over from him [the] battle and to take: take with him seven hundred man to draw sword to/for to break up/open to(wards) king Edom and not be able
27 २७ तब उसने अपने जेठे पुत्र को जो उसके स्थान में राज्य करनेवाला था पकड़कर शहरपनाह पर होमबलि चढ़ाया। इस कारण इस्राएल पर बड़ा ही क्रोध हुआ, इसलिए वे उसे छोड़कर अपने देश को लौट गए।
