1 इतिहास 25

1 १ फिर दाऊद और सेनापतियों ने आसाप, हेमान और यदूतून के कुछ पुत्रों को सेवकाई के लिये अलग किया कि वे वीणा, सारंगी और झाँझ बजा-बजाकर नबूवत करें। और इस सेवकाई के काम करनेवाले मनुष्यों की गिनती यह थी:

And he separated David and [the] commanders of the army for service [the] sons of Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun (who prophesied *Q(K)*) with harps with lyres and with cymbals and it was number their men of work for service their.

2 २ अर्थात् आसाप के पुत्रों में से जक्कूर, यूसुफ, नतन्याह और अशरेला, आसाप के ये पुत्र आसाप ही की आज्ञा में थे, जो राजा की आज्ञा के अनुसार नबूवत करता था।

Of [the] sons of Asaph Zaccur and Joseph and Nethaniah and Asarelah [the] sons of Asaph [were] on [the] hand of Asaph who prophesied on [the] hands of the king.

3 ३ फिर यदूतून के पुत्रों में से गदल्याह, सरी, यशायाह, शिमी, हशब्याह, मत्तित्याह, ये ही छः अपने पिता यदूतून की आज्ञा में होकर जो यहोवा का धन्यवाद और स्तुति कर करके नबूवत करता था, वीणा बजाते थे।

For Jeduthun [the] sons of Jeduthun Gedaliah and Zeri and Jeshaiah Hashabiah and Mattithiah six on [the] hands of father their Jeduthun with harp who prophesied on to give thanks and to praise Yahweh.

4 ४ हेमान के पुत्रों में से, बुक्किय्याह, मत्तन्याह, उज्जीएल, शबूएल, यरीमोत, हनन्याह, हनानी, एलीआता, गिद्दलती, रोममतीएजेर, योशबकाशा, मल्लोती, होतीर और महजीओत;

For Heman [the] sons of Heman Bukkiah Mattaniah Uzziel Shebuel and Jerimoth Hananiah Hanani Eliathah Giddalti and Romamti-Ezer Joshbekashah Mallothi Hothir Mahazioth.

5 ५ परमेश्वर की प्रतिज्ञानुकूल जो उसका नाम बढ़ाने की थी, ये सब हेमान के पुत्र थे जो राजा का दर्शी था; क्योंकि परमेश्वर ने हेमान को चौदह बेटे और तीन बेटियाँ दीं थीं।

All these [were] sons of Heman [the] seer of the king by [the] words of God to lift up a horn and he gave God to Heman sons four-teen and daughters three.

6 ६ ये सब यहोवा के भवन में गाने के लिये अपने-अपने पिता के अधीन रहकर, परमेश्वर के भवन, की सेवकाई में झाँझ, सारंगी और वीणा बजाते थे। आसाप, यदूतून और हेमान राजा के अधीन रहते थे।

All these [were] on [the] hands of father their with song [the] house of Yahweh with cymbals lyres and harps for [the] service of [the] house of God on [the] hands of the king. Asaph and Jeduthun and Heman.

7 ७ इन सभी की गिनती भाइयों समेत जो यहोवा के गीत सीखे हुए और सब प्रकार से निपुण थे, दो सौ अट्ठासी थी।

And it was number their with relatives their trained of song to Yahweh every understanding [person] two hundred eighty and eight.

8 ८ उन्होंने क्या बड़ा, क्या छोटा, क्या गुरु, क्या चेला, अपनी-अपनी बारी के लिये चिट्ठी डाली।

And they cast lots duty correspondingly as the small as the great teacher with pupil.

9 ९ पहली चिट्ठी आसाप के बेटों में से यूसुफ के नाम पर निकली, दूसरी गदल्याह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

And it went out the lot first for Asaph to Joseph (and relatives his and sons his two [plus] ten. *X*) Gedaliah the second he and relatives his and sons his two [plus] ten.

10 १० तीसरी जक्कूर के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The third Zaccur sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

11 ११ चौथी यिस्री के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The fourth to Izri sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

12 १२ पाँचवीं नतन्याह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The fifth Nethaniah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

13 १३ छठीं बुक्किय्याह के नाम पर निकली जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The sixth Bukkiah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

14 १४ सातवीं यसरेला के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The seventh Jesharelah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

15 १५ आठवीं यशायाह के नाम पर निकली जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The eighth Jeshaiah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

16 १६ नौवीं मत्तन्याह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई समेत बारह थे।

The ninth Mattaniah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

17 १७ दसवीं शिमी के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The tenth Shimei sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

18 १८ ग्यारहवीं अजरेल के नाम पर निकली जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

One [plus] ten Azarel sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

19 १९ बारहवीं हशब्याह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

The two [plus] ten to Hashabiah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

20 २० तेरहवीं शूबाएल के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For thir-teen Shubael sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

21 २१ चौदहवीं मत्तित्याह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For four-teen Mattithiah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

22 २२ पन्द्रहवीं यरेमोत के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For fif-teen to Jeremoth sons his and relatives his two [plus] teen.

23 २३ सोलहवीं हनन्याह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For six-teen to Hananiah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

24 २४ सत्रहवीं योशबकाशा के नाम पर निकली जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For seven-teen to Joshbekashah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

25 २५ अठारहवीं हनानी के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For eight-teen to Hanani sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

26 २६ उन्‍नीसवीं मल्लोती के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For nine-teen to Mallothi sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

27 २७ बीसवीं एलियातह के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For twenty to Eliathah sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

28 २८ इक्कीसवीं होतीर के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For one and twenty to Hothir sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

29 २९ बाईसवीं गिद्दलती के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For two and twenty to Giddalti sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

30 ३० तेईसवीं महजीओत; के नाम पर निकली जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For three and twenty to Mahazioth sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.

31 ३१ चौबीसवीं चिट्ठी रोममतीएजेर के नाम पर निकली, जिसके पुत्र और भाई उस समेत बारह थे।

For four and twenty to Romamti-Ezer sons his and relatives his two [plus] ten.
