जकर्याह 2
1 तब मैं अपने सामने एक व्यक्ति को अपने हाथ में नापनेवाली रस्सी लिये हुए देखा.
Next I lifted up my eyes and saw a man with a measuring line in his hand.
2 मैंने उससे पूछा, “तुम कहां जा रहे हो?” उसने उत्तर दिया, “मैं येरूशलेम शहर को नापने जा रहा हूं ताकि पता चल सके कि उसकी लंबाई और चौड़ाई कितनी है.”
I said, “Where are you going?” So he said to me, “To measure Jerusalem, to determine its width and length.”
3 जब मुझसे बातें करनेवाला स्वर्गदूत जा रहा था, तब एक दूसरा स्वर्गदूत उससे मिलने आया
Then the angel who had talked with me went away and another angel went out to meet him.
4 और उससे कहा: “दौड़कर जाओ, और उस जवान से कहो, ‘मनुष्यों और पशुओं के बहुतायत के कारण येरूशलेम बिना दीवारों का शहर हो जाएगा.
The second angel said to him, “Run and speak to that young man; say, 'Jerusalem will sit in the open country because of the multitudes of men and beasts within her.
5 और मैं स्वयं, इसके चारों ओर आग की दीवार बन जाऊंगा,’ याहवेह की घोषणा है, ‘और उसके भीतर मैं उसकी महिमा बनूंगा.’
For I—this is Yahweh's declaration—will become for her a wall of fire around her, and I will be the glory in her midst.
6 “आओ! आओ! उत्तर के देश से भाग जाओ,” याहवेह की घोषणा है, “क्योंकि मैंने तुम्हें आकाश के चारों दिशाओं के हवा के समान तितर-बितर कर दिया है,” याहवेह की घोषणा है.
Up! Up! Flee from the land of the north—this is Yahweh's declaration— for I have scattered you like the four winds of the skies!—This is Yahweh's declaration.
7 “हे ज़ियोन! आओ, तुम जो बाबेलवासियों के बीच रहते हो, बचकर भाग निकलो!”
Up! Escape to Zion, you who live with the daughter of Babylon!'”
8 क्योंकि सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह का यह कहना है: “उन्होंने अपने महिमा के निमित्त ही मुझे उन जातियों के विरुद्ध भेजा है, जिन्होंने तुम्हें लूट लिया हे—क्योंकि यदि कोई तुम्हें छूता है, तो वह उसकी (याहवेह की) आंख की पुतली को छूता है,
For after Yahweh of hosts honored me and sent me against the nations that plundered you— for whoever touches you, touches the apple of God's eye!—after Yahweh did this, he said,
9 मैं निश्चित रूप से उनके विरुद्ध अपना हाथ उठाऊंगा ताकि उनके गुलाम उन्हें लूटें. तब तुम जान जाओगे कि सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह ने मुझे भेजा है.
“I myself will shake my hand over them, and they will be plunder for their slaves.” Then you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me.
10 “हे मेरी बेटी, ज़ियोन, ऊंचे स्वरों में गा और आनंदित हो. क्योंकि मैं आकर तुम्हारे बीच निवास करूंगा,” याहवेह की घोषणा है.
“Sing for joy, daughter of Zion, for I myself am about to come and encamp among you!—this is Yahweh's declaration.”
11 “उस दिन बहुत सी जातियां याहवेह के साथ मिल जाएंगी और वे मेरे लोग बन जाएंगे. मैं तुम्हारे बीच निवास करूंगा और तुम जान जाओगे कि सर्वशक्तिमान याहवेह ने मुझे तुम्हारे पास भेजा है.
Then great nations will join themselves to Yahweh in that day. He says, “Then you will become my people; for I will encamp in the midst of you,” and you will know that Yahweh of hosts has sent me to you.
12 याहवेह पवित्र देश में यहूदिया को अपने भाग के रूप में ले लेंगे और येरूशलेम को फिर चुन लेंगे.
For Yahweh will inherit Judah as his rightful possession in the holy land and will once again choose Jerusalem for himself.
13 हे सब लोगों, याहवेह के सामने शांत रहो, क्योंकि उन्होंने अपने पवित्र निवास से अपने आपको खड़ा किया है.”
Be silent, all flesh, before Yahweh, for he has been roused from out of his holy place!
