रोमियों 5
1 इसलिये जब हम अपने विश्वास के द्वारा धर्मी घोषित किए जा चुके हैं, परमेश्वर से हमारा मेल-मिलाप हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह के द्वारा हो चुका है,
Since we stand justified as the result of faith, let us continue to enjoy the peace we have with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
2 जिनके माध्यम से विश्वास के द्वारा हमारी पहुंच उस अनुग्रह में है, जिसमें हम अब स्थिर हैं. अब हम परमेश्वर की महिमा की आशा में आनंदित हैं.
Through him also we have had our access into this grace in which we have taken our stand, and are exulting in hope of the glory of God.
3 इतना ही नहीं, हम अपने क्लेशों में भी आनंदित बने रहते हैं. हम जानते हैं कि क्लेश में से धीरज;
And not only so, but we are actually exulting also even in our troubles; for we know that trouble works fortitude,
4 धीरज में से खरा चरित्र तथा खरे चरित्र में से आशा उत्पन्न होती है
and fortitude character, and character, hope -
5 और आशा लज्जित कभी नहीं होने देती क्योंकि हमें दी हुई पवित्र आत्मा द्वारा परमेश्वर का प्रेम हमारे हृदयों में उंडेल दिया गया है.
a hope which never disappoints us. For through the Holy Spirit who has given to us, the "brimming river of the love of God" has overflowed in our hearts.
6 जब हम निर्बल ही थे, सही समय पर मसीह येशु ने अधर्मियों के लिए मृत्यु स्वीकार की.
For while we were still without strength, Christ died in due time for the ungodly.
7 शायद ही कोई किसी व्यवस्था के पालन करनेवाले के लिए अपने प्राण दे दे. हां, संभावना यह अवश्य है कि कोई किसी परोपकारी के लिए प्राण देने के लिए तैयार हो जाए
Why, a man will hardly give his life for another, even for a righteous man, though perchance for a good man one might even take it upon himself to die.
8 किंतु परमेश्वर ने हमारे प्रति अपना प्रेम इस प्रकार प्रकट किया कि जब हम पापी ही थे, मसीह येशु ने हमारे लिए अपने प्राण त्याग दिए.
But God gives proof of his love to us by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
9 हम मसीह येशु के लहू के द्वारा धर्मी घोषित तो किए ही जा चुके हैं, इससे कहीं बढ़कर यह है कि हम उन्हीं के कारण परमेश्वर के क्रोध से भी बचाए जाएंगे.
By how much more, then, being now justified in his blood, shall we be saved through him from the wrath of God.
10 जब शत्रुता की अवस्था में परमेश्वर से हमारा मेल-मिलाप उनके पुत्र की मृत्यु के द्वारा हो गया तो इससे बढ़कर यह है कि मेल-मिलाप हो जाने के कारण उनके पुत्र के जीवन द्वारा हमारा उद्धार सुनिश्चित है.
For if, when we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, now that we are reconciled, shall we be saved in his life.
11 इतना ही नहीं, मसीह येशु के कारण हम परमेश्वर में आनंदित हैं जिनके कारण हम इस मेल-मिलाप की स्थिति तक पहुंचे हैं.
And not only that, but we exult in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have now obtained our reconciliation.
12 एक मनुष्य के कारण पाप ने संसार में प्रवेश किया तथा पाप के द्वारा मृत्यु ने और मृत्यु सभी मनुष्यों में समा गई—क्योंकि पाप सभी ने किया.
Thus, then, sin came into the world through one man, and through sin came death and so death spread to all men, because all had sinned.
13 पाप व्यवस्था के प्रभावी होने से पहले ही संसार में मौजूद था लेकिन जहां व्यवस्था ही नहीं, वहां पाप गिना नहीं जाता!
For prior to the Law, sin actually existed in the world, but sin was not set down to man’s account when there was no law.
14 आदम से मोशेह तक मृत्यु का शासन था—उन पर भी, जिन्होंने आदम के समान अनाज्ञाकारिता का पाप नहीं किया था. आदम उनके प्रतिरूप थे, जिनका आगमन होने को था.
Nevertheless, from Adam to Moses death reigned as king, even over those who had not sinned after the likeness of Adam’s transgression. Now Adam is a type of Him who was to come.
15 अपराध, वरदान के समान नहीं. एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कारण अनेकों की मृत्यु हुई, जबकि परमेश्वर के अनुग्रह तथा एक मनुष्य, मसीह येशु के अनुग्रह में दिया हुआ वरदान अनेकों अनेक में स्थापित हो गया.
But the free gift is not like the transgression; for if through the transgression of that one man the rest on men died, much more did the grace of God and the gift given in his grace in the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow unto the rest of men.
16 परमेश्वर का वरदान उसके समान नहीं, जो एक मनुष्य के अपराध के परिणामस्वरूप आया. एक ओर तो एक अपराध से न्याय-दंड की उत्पत्ति हुई, जिसका परिणाम था दंड-आज्ञा मगर दूसरी ओर अनेकों अपराधों के बाद वरदान की उत्पत्ति हुई, जिसका परिणाम था धार्मिकता.
And it is not with the free gift as it was through the one that sinned; for the judgment came from one transgression unto condemnation; but the free gift came from many transgressions unto acquittal.
17 क्योंकि जब एक मनुष्य के अपराध के कारण एक ही मनुष्य के माध्यम से मृत्यु का शासन हो गया, तब इससे कहीं अधिक फैला हुआ है बड़ा अनुग्रह तथा धार्मिकता का वह वरदान, जो उनके जीवन में उस एक मनुष्य, मसीह येशु के द्वारा शासन करेगा.
For if through the transgression of the one, death reigned as king through the one, much more shall those who receive the overflowing grace and gift of righteousness reign as kings in life through One, through Jesus Christ.
18 इसलिये जिस प्रकार मात्र एक अपराध का परिणाम हुआ सभी के लिए दंड-आज्ञा, उसी प्रकार धार्मिकता के मात्र एक काम का परिणाम हुआ सभी मनुष्यों के लिए जीवन की धार्मिकता.
It follows then, as through the transgression of one man came condemnation unto all men, even so through the act of righteousness of One came acquittal and life to all men.
19 जिस प्रकार मात्र एक व्यक्ति की अनाज्ञाकारिता के परिणामस्परूप अनेकों अनेक पापी हो गए, उसी प्रकार एक व्यक्ति की आज्ञाकारिता से अनेक धर्मी बना दिए जाएंगे.
For just as through the disobedience of one man the rest were made sinners; even so by the obedience of One shall all the rest be made righteous.
20 व्यवस्था बीच में आई कि पाप का अहसास तेज हो. जब पाप का अहसास तेज हुआ तो अनुग्रह कहीं अधिक तेज होता गया
Now law was brought in so that transgression might abound; but where sin abounded, grace super-abounded;
21 कि जिस प्रकार पाप ने मृत्यु में शासन किया, उसी प्रकार अनुग्रह धार्मिकता के द्वारा हमारे प्रभु येशु मसीह में अनंत जीवन के लिए शासन करे. (aiōnios g166)
in order that as sin has ruled as king in death, so also grace might rule as king in righteousness which issues in eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord, - ours! (aiōnios g166)
